Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, I am so glad to stand here and give you a short speech.The topic of my speech today is “One world, one dream – Peace”.Firstly, I want to ask you some questions: What kind of life do you want to live now, and what kind of life did your grandparents want to live when they were young.Do you know? Aiming at this problem, I have done a research.The survey shows that we all hope to earn more money and live a colorful life , but the answer of our grandparents is very simple, Can you guess what it is? Yes, it’s peace.What an important word!And what a powerful word!If there is no peace, how can we earn more money, and how can we live a colorful life.Many years ago, our grandparents witnessed the bloody horror, and lived the life without a stable home, so we must pay more attention to peace, otherwise, their yesterday will become our tomorrow!Then, what should we do? A few years ago, we held 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and took this chance to come up with the theme of the slogan “one world, one dream”.It expresses the firm belief of a great nation, with a long history of 5,000 years ,that is committed to peaceful development.What is more , this year, our country held the special activities to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the anti-fascist war, and our President xi jinping clearly put forward “China will reduce the army about 300000” It fully shows that China is an important force in maintaining world peace.So, as the future of our motherland，We must try our best to maintain peace.For example, holding this speech contest and watching some movies,such as Red Sorgum、Purple Sunset and so on.In this way ,people will understand that peace is so precious that we all must cherish it.In spite of the differences in colors, languages and races, but you and me , from one world ,we are family.So, “One World, One Dream ”is of China, and also of the world.Finally , I hope that we can create a peaceful world together.That’s all, thanks for your listening

I want to discuss with you this morning why you're going to fail to have a great career.(Laughter)

How can you be one without the other?
