In the United States, 20 to 40 percent of the adult population has a “weight problem.” To many people, the cause seems obvious;we eat too much.But scientific evidence does little to support this idea.Going back to the America of 1910, we find that people were leaner than today, yet they consumed more food.In those days people worked harder physically, walked more, used machines much less, didn't watch television.Several modern studies, moreover ? have shown that fatter people do not eat more on average than thinner people.In fact, some investigations, such as a 1979 study of 3454 London office workers, reveal that, on balance, fat people eat less than slimmer people.Studies show that slim people are more active than fat people.Measurement of calorie intake in slim, active populations compared with moderately overweight, inactive groups routinely shows striking differences.A study by my research group at Stanford University School of Medicine found that among slim, tennis-playing women(ages 32 to 45;11 hours per week)average daily calorie intake was 2417, while among sedentary(坐着的), moderately overweight women of the same age it was 1490.Here were slim women remaining slim on 62 percent more calories than overweight women.The critical difference;physical activity.In another Stanford study, 48 sedentary men ages 30 to 55 started on a one-year jogging program.We observed these changes after the training period:

大学英语六级考试题型、分值分布及其答题

一、阅读(占35%,含速读,精读和选词填空)

在快速阅读的考前练习中,可以迅速浏览大小标题,了解文章的中心和文章整体的布局。出题者常以依次而下的顺序出题,而且每题基本都是细节题,分别对应文章一段,可以采用关键词定位的方法。

简短回答题本质上属于阅读理解范畴,但结合了书面表达。简短回答题选择了填空和问答两种出题形式。填空题就是根据文中的信息将句子补充完整。填空题的题干是一个残缺句,而所残缺的部分必定在原句中充当一定的句子成分。因此,考生在备考过程中可以三步走:一是分析题干,查找缺少的成分,二是利用题干关键词在文中定位答案的所在范围,三是结合题干,填入符合语法结构的成分,使句子完整并忠实于原文。

仔细阅读就是传统的阅读理解,考生备考中首先应该判断考查题型(主旨题、态度题、猜词题、细节题和推论题),确定做题方法,然后圈定题干关键词。然后可以借助题干中的关键词通读全文,圈定关键词和逻辑关系词(因果、转折、举例等)。最后利用初步划定的各题区域,运用排除等方法解题。

二、听力(占35%,含长短对话,短文听力和复合式听写)

短对话的主要考察部分仍然是校园场景,需要同学门平时注意积累场景高频词汇和习惯表达,考生只要在复习时重点突出,强化训练,就可以在短对话部分做到未听半知的状态。

两组长对话对学生短时记忆和快速提取信息的能力提出了更为严峻的挑战。长对话分值为7分,难度不大,但是由于连续发问和对答使部分考生不太适应。建议学生训练时要抓紧时间审题、读选项、做笔记,否则考试中很难适应。另外注意的就是问答之间的关系。

短文听力对考生的语言感知能力、逻辑思维能力、短时记忆能力都是一个挑战。考生只有在多读、多听的基础上才能提高短文理解的准确率。

复合式听写的长句填空的步骤:完整地听、简要地记、仔细地核。长句听写的关键技巧是写大意,原句照搬是很难的。因此可以通过关键词提炼和难词替换来写长句大意。长句听写是听力最难的部分,考生同时可以根据上下文的信息来推测大意,然后再结合听到的内容进行意义上的做答。

三、综合(占10%,含完形填空或改错)

1、背诵

背诵是提高英语综合能力的法宝,可分为以下5个层次:(1)精彩词汇;(2)精彩句型;(3)精彩句子;(4)万能框架;(5)经典范文。注意句子和句型不一样,精彩句子应作为单词来记忆。背诵前,确保自己已充分理解所有内容。

2、默写

考试时, 首先要调整自己的心态, 不要太过激动;要知道卷子发下来, 第一部分就是听力, 做听力的时候, 一旦过于激动, 往往会错过朗读中的关键内容, 掉进题目设计者的圈套, 而听力的好坏可以影响考生后面的答题。

一、听力理解

做阅读理解题时,切忌拿来就读,逐字逐句地研读,应该讲究一定的方法、步骤:

首先扫视短文或每段的开首句,了解文章的题材和体裁。

然后浏览5个问题,了解题目类型,针对不同题型,应用不同的阅读、解答方法。若问题与短文在同一页上,只须标出单个题项的关键词语,如 “imply”、“word”、“title”、“main idea”、“reason”、“how many”,等等。若问题与短文不在同一页上,也可迅速地将有关关键词语草写在短文一页,以便于参考。

并且应遵循先易后难的原则。先做相对容易的题目,建议采用查阅(scanning)方法。在查阅过程中,有关较难题目的一些信息也会暴露出来,查阅可为解答这类题目节约时间、提供线索。

不可在此类题上浪费太多时间, 若遇到生词,可依据派生词、词根等相应规则作一些推断。要注意形意易混的词和词的搭配, 在句子中推断

时间如车轮般在大地上碾过,弹指一挥间,四个多月的实习时间马上就要画上句号了。到现在为止,我真的有种恋恋不舍的感觉,舍不得让这段时光匆匆流走,舍不得这段难忘的岁月。这里实在是有太多难以割舍的因素,有难忘的师生情,有美好的同事情,有点点滴滴的生活、工作片段,有我向其他十几位老师学习进步的经历。回首过去的这段峥嵘岁月,我有太多的话要说,从教学实习到管理学生,每一方面都留下了我的足迹,而我也在这样的足迹的指引下,逐渐成长,正从一个懵懂的大学生向一名合格甚至优秀的人民教师转变。在实习生活即将结束之时,我回顾这半年来的点滴,总结经验,寻找不足,感受颇多。

作为一名实习生,尤其是一名师范院校的实习生,在教学方面的锻炼显得尤为重要。感谢学校给我们提供了这样一次顶岗实习的机会,让我们在实战演练中得到了锻炼。我们的教学技能在这半年里得到了迅速的提升与完善,而这在实习伊始就是我们此次实习工作的重要目标之一。

回头看看初登讲台时的我,再对比一下现在讲台上游刃有余的我,才发现,进步已经在点点滴滴中得到积累、升华。现在,我仍能清楚的记得,2月21日那天,我们一行9个实习生来到了董官屯镇中心校,与各位领导见过面之后,还没来得及喘口气,我就被告知分到最为偏远的东升小学,明天就要登上讲台,正式讲课了,且是教四年级的英语数学兼音乐。这多少让我有些措手不及,因为我还从未给学生上过课,我想先听几节的课积累足够的间接经验后再登讲台,可是时间条件不允许,只能尽快按要求上课,我很快就调整了过来,接受了这一挑战。为了更好的进行教学工作,我从班主任公老师那里得知,我将要教的四年级,班容量很大大,而且由于处于这个年龄段的孩子比较调皮,是有名的“乱班”。众所周知乡村小学的教学资源和师资条件比较匮乏,学生的学习水平显而很差,我不禁有些担心,我——一个刚从象牙塔里走出的大学生,能教好他们吗?!校长的一句话更是加深了我的恐惧感,话是这样说的:成绩不是一朝一夕能教出来的,能管住纪律是最重要的!听到这句话后,我不禁暗自为自己捏了把汗,可是,不管怎样,我是一名老师,我将要用我的实际行动去感动他们,让他们接受我这个老师,并且好好学习,在这种心理状态下,当天晚上,我躺在床上就想怎么能“降”住着群小魔头。我想兴趣是最好的老师,只有备好课,生动形象的课堂教学肯定能吸引学生。

第二天,在公老师的引荐下,我来到了教室,为了以后教学工作的正常进行,我必须要在前几节课上镇住学生们才行,这是当地老师给我的一个建议。所以,从一进教师开始,我就很严肃,再加上可能是紧张吧,刚开始登讲台时我居然一点也没有笑,直到正式讲课时才开始有点消笑容了。学生们给我的第一印象还好,没有想象中的那么调皮。令我很有成就感的是,这个班除了原任的课代表外,我又任命两个据说是本班最能“闹腾”的两个“小霸王”为课代表,让全班同学“监视”他们的学习,这一招在后来的教学工作中很有帮助,他们不仅认真负责,在上课时还能帮助我维持课堂秩序,看来这招“以毒治毒”还真的奏效了。由于我的四年级,每周十五节课,五节英语,五节数学,两节音乐,三节自习。课时多自然很累,然而,在忙忙碌碌中,为了改进我的教课技能,只要一有时间,我就会向当地老师请教,在教课这一方面,其他老师给了我很大帮助。从他们的身上,我学到了很多东西,譬如说新课的导入、知识点的讲解方式、板书设计、课文的分析等等,真是受益匪浅。

在课堂教学中,我也不断反思,经常进行换位思考,想:假若我是学生,老师这样讲,我会接受吗?对于一个四年级的学生,怎样用浅显易懂的语言让他们更能容易地学会知识。除此之外,再加上学生给我的及时反馈,在这种不断的自我摸索与反思以及积极吸取他人经验的基础上,我的教学水平取得了不小的进步,教学语言不再啰嗦而是简练;讲解习题时更具有针对性,更符合当地学生的理解水平;并且我也能逐渐的将知识点系统起来。

因为当地的学生无论上课还是下课都用方言跟老师交流(我是本地人),所以为了让学生们讲好普通话,响应国家对学生能力的号召,在每节课上,我都会在心里默默地提醒自己,一定要用普通话来进行教学,而我也恰恰是这样坚持下来的。每节课后,我都会反思一下,这节课的教态怎样,教学语言是否得体,学生反映是否积极等等。我想只有这样,我才能不断进步。半年下来,从当地老师以及学生对我的评价中,可以看出我确实取得了很大的进步。现在,每当我登上讲台时,我就有一种感觉:我是一名人民教师!

在教学的同时,学生的心理健康也是我们所关注的另外一个重要方面。我班有一名学生性格很孤僻不合群,喜欢独来独往,课上表现也不积极,这样长期以往,对他的发展很不利,不利于他融进集体生活,同时也会成为他求学路上的拦路虎。于是,本着对他负责的态度,我多次找到他与他谈话,与他谈理想谈学习谈他心里对待世界对待社会的看法等等。在这一方面,我的必修课中小学生心理健康教育与我大二时选修的心理学还真的起到了很大的作用。几次谈话之后,他脑子里的一些错误观点已被逐渐改变,渐渐地,我发现他已开始跟同学交流了,体育课上也能见到他在操场上活跃的身影,看到他一点一滴的转变,我也很欣慰!在班级管理方面,我还从班主任那里学习了一招;查早读和查自习时,要让学生摸不着你的规律,免得让学生钻空子。对待学生要严慈相济,既不能过于苛刻,也能总是慈眉善目,要跟学生保持一定的距离。半年来,我发现,自己与学生之间的尺度把握的还可以,我们亦师亦友,彼此尊重。通过这半年的班主任实习工作,让我加深了对学生的了解。除了收获了一群孩子的敬重与爱戴外,还获得了大量的管理班级的经验,这些经验我将受益终身。

为期半年的实习生活马上就要结束,在这半年里,我经历了凤凰涅槃般的历练,体会到了为人师表的自豪。我还会继续严格要求自己,不断进步,为日后成为一名真正的人民教师而努力。如果我选择职业的话,我会选择当教师,当一辈子的教师!
