2)自我介绍的主体内容

① 姓名。介绍自己姓名时，发音一定要准(南方考生要多加注意)。

② 年龄。年龄可以跟在姓名后带过(I am XXX, 25 years old)。

③ 原来的院校、专业。注意：一定要把原来学校的英文名称、专业的英文名称弄清楚(尤其是跨校、跨专业的学生)。

④ 性格、能力。可以着重强调你的个性对你报考的专业有何积极的作用。如果报考的是学术性的专业，可以说自己细心(carefully，detail-oriented)、条理分明(logical)、踏实(steady)等;如果是研究性、应用性更强一点的专业，可以说自己负责(responsible)、可靠(dependable)、有效率(efficient)等。

其他的一些表示性格、能力的形容词有：active, aggressive(有进取心的), adaptable, amicable(友好的), analytical(善于分析的), cooperative, creative, disciplined, dutiful, energetic, faithful, gentle, independent(有主见的), innovative, motivated, modest, objective, precise, punctual, precise(一丝不苟的), temperate等等。

在职考生或有过工作经验的考生还可以强调一下你的工作成绩，如：As the assistant to the General Manger of XXX Company, I have helped to negotiate a $200,000 deal for the corporation.⑤ 爱好。All work and no play make Jack a dull boy.除了强调你的学习的重视，同时也要避免给考官一种“书呆子”的感觉。一般可以从体育、音乐、电影等方面来说，同时要简单说明这些爱好对你的积极意义(build my body, relax myself, open my mind„);注意避免提到那些可能引起考官反感的爱好，如：playing computer games，watching TV等。

5、意外情况——没听清，你应该怎样要求老师再说一遍(Pardon?/ Sorry, I can’t follow you./ Sorry, I lost you.Can you repeat that question again?);需要时间思考、整理思路的时候，不要出现沉默，可以用一些hmm, err, well等语气词;不会回答某些问题时，千万不要不懂装懂，可以明确地告诉老师你不知道(Sorry, but I have no idea about it。)。

6、跨专业问题——老师通常会对跨专业的学生问这样一个问题：为什么会选择这个专业?不要前篇一律地回答只说“我对这个专业感兴趣”，可以把每个人都会谈到的原因简要地罗列一下，对具有自己特色的原因则可大谈特谈，详细地阐述自己的观点，让老师印象深刻。

7、专业知识——在英语口试中(非英语专业)，如果老师提问专业问题，通常不会指望你能进行流利的、专业性强的阐述;但是一些专业术语的英文说法还是有必要了解一下的。

8、提出问题——在面试快结束的时候，一般老师都会问，你有没有什么要问的(Do you have

第四、获得主导权，面试场上的主导权不见得就是考官，至少考官提问的问题范围是你自己可以选择的。既然不能装懂，那么就应该主动地把自己懂的知识展现给面试考官。一个很好的技巧就是自我简介方面，谈到自己的研究兴趣时，要提自己本专业掌握的最好的方面，一般老师提问专业问题大多是根据你的研究兴趣来提。对于你的研究兴趣一定要慎重选择，如果自己不太了解而仅仅是感兴趣的方面，最好不要提及。有些院校要求在复试的时候提交个人陈述，其中的研究计划方面是可以大做文章的，能够很好的引导老师向你预想的方向提问。自我介绍的时候，除了说清楚自己的基本信息之外，最好能着重说一下自己有哪方面的特质是比较适合报考这个学校和专业的，导师可能会比较在意这一方面。

第五、英语听力部分随时创造环境，全面提升听力。英语听力部分，大多数学校都以现有的成型考试为参考。主要分为：

1、类似四六级考试的简短问答；

2、针对文章的某一段落进行听写或者翻译。

针对第一种题型大家都不用担心，因为以前在准备四六级的时候已经很熟悉了，这种题型可以在复试前一段时间进行几天强化训练，有针对性地做一些六级听力的试题。不过平时有时间的时候可以收听一下英语新闻，看看迪斯尼的动画片或者看看原声的英语大片，让耳朵经常接触到英语是培养语感的好方法。

针对第二种题型，建议大家要多花一点时间，一定要做长文章的精听，比如说精听一些字数不少于两千字的演讲稿，或者是比较长的一些陈述，比如名人的演讲等。另外有些学校会把对专业的考察加进去，所给的文章可能是专业方面的，这时候对考生的要求会更高，不但要求听懂更重要的是用词的准确，对此考生应该多接触专业方面的英语，比如专业性的权威杂志和节目等。另外建议考生练习听写，平时听录音时就要有意识地将关键信息写下来，一方面训练信息接受的准确性；另一方面培养短期记忆、正确拼写单词的能力。练习听写还能强制性地迫使自己全神贯注、积极思考。

第六、基础环节做起，机智应对口语。

考研复试的英语口语部分一般是问答形式和话题陈述，前种形式比较好应对，与其他考试的不同是问题会更加专业化；后种形式的随机性就比较大，可能是学术问题，也可能是生活上的问题，需要你快速作出反应。但是要想成功的应多口语考试还是要从基础做起，首先是发音，由于这种考试都是外语系的老师去打分，第一大标准是发音，英语的发音，这一点很重要。其次是词汇，说话的时候的词汇量，不能够全部使用那些“傻瓜”词汇，你要能够体现出来自己这个阶段应该具有的英语水平，毕竟这是一个考研复试。最后，在回答问题的时候一定要具有逻辑上的连贯性，切不可东拉西扯，思想混乱。

第七、考场上要特别注意的问题

多数高校复试听力时统一播放听力磁带，不使用单独的小收音机或是电脑播放听力材料，所以对习惯大学英语四、六级听力考试模式的考生来说，要及时调整听力习惯，避免到了考场出现听力模式不适应的情况。此外，高校一般会在考研复试办法上说明听力答题的时间，但实际上复试听力流程是不用那么多时间的。如北京大学考研复试办法说明上的复试时间是30分钟，2008年考研复试听力考核从发卷到收卷只进行了20分钟左右，所以考生不能慢慢腾腾，一定要讲求速度。一般复试听力和大学英语四、六级一样会发答题卡，铅笔涂写，考生一定要抓紧时间填涂，复试听力收卷是不会拖延半分钟的！只要注意细节性问题，平时打好听力基础，再加上合理作息、调整好心态，复试听力应该属于考研复试中最容易啃下的一块骨头。

建议大家随手、随时携带一个小本子，随时做笔记，这一点非常重要。这点说明你很细心，老师不管说什么东西，你都把它记下来，老师说的这些话，提的问题说的观点都随时记下来，这样能够表现你这个人非常细心，这是很好的一个细节。因为我们知道，细节决定成败。所以这一点很重要，很小的一个细节，把笔记本、笔都准备好，随时记东西。
