升本工作总结
2003年4月份，学校升本工作最后攻坚战打响了。图书馆作为学校升本评定的重要指标之一，可见图书馆在升本中的重要性。图书馆的工作也进入前所未有的紧张繁忙状态。我当时在平山支教，为了图书馆的工作，毫不犹豫地服从馆内的安排，从平山赶回来投入图书馆的工作。
升本对图书馆来说，最重要的任务就是将藏书量增加到本科院校的要求。为此图书馆要在8月份以前，用3个月的时间完成20多万册图书的采编入库。我主要负责计算机软硬件和网络方面，从技术上做好支持保障。现在图书馆的工作，从采购、编目到流通都是用计算机来管理。所以计算机系统能否正常工作，是全馆工作能否顺利的前提。
由于大量编书，图书馆微机不够，馆领导便从计算机系借了30台微机。借来微机后，我和范老师连续三晚上没有休息，抓紧时间将微机整理调试好，使微机尽快投入使用。后来这些微机在5、6两个月中的工作中发挥主力作用。后来电子阅览室的新微机来了以后，为了提高工作效率，又将30台新微机投入使用。我又加班加点将新微机整理调试出来。
由于一部分微机是比较旧，在工作中微机软件和硬件的维护工作量也很大。我一直都尽心尽力、尽职尽责，努力做到最好。有问题及时处理，没问题用心维护，尽可能保证工作能不因为微机而耽误。由于图书馆内从一楼到五楼都有书库，所以将几十台微机在楼层之间搬动调配一直都没停止过，而且非常的辛苦。但这是工作需要，我从没因累而耽误逃避过。都是先了解各部分工作后，按各部分工作的进度合理安排，尽量让微机配合各部分工作能顺利进行。
为了让架标规范美观，还打印了几个样本书库十几万图书的架标。在工作中，除了自己负责的外，还积极提出建议，为工作尽一份心。在最后校对书和数据一致时，我汇集书库其他同志的意见，提出将书扫进一个新数据库中，在原数据库中剩下的数据便是空数据。避免了拿着书单到书库一一核对，大大提高了工作效率，节约了大量时间。
5月中旬正好赶上“非典”期间，学校要实行封闭轮班，我连续值了两班没有休息。假期需要加班，二话不说服从安排加班。由于工作紧张，经常晚上加班。其中图书馆的网站就是在晚上加班和田树彬一同完成的。由于工作很累，晚上又经常加班，休息不够。加上又是做微机工作，5月底患上了结膜炎，一直到9月份开学以后才好。但都没耽误工作。最后由于工作安排合理，经过全馆同志齐心合力，终于按时完成了学校给的任务。
为了配合升本，提高图书馆的档次，学校又投资100万建设图书馆的电子阅览室。这两项工作正好重叠在一起，更增加了工作强度。所以一旦有人来建电子阅览室，就得配合他们的工作，负责安全监管。设计电子阅览室微机布置图，几次学校领导都不满意。时间紧，基本上都是晚上加班做的。当时电子阅览室安装空调安排到夜里，又连续值了几个通宵夜班。
9月份开学后，学校交给的任务基本上全部完成。教育部升本检查还没进行，学校的升本检查经常进行，所以一刻也不敢松懈。9月份进行了电子数据的安装调试，并于9月8号投入使用。电子阅览室开放后，便又认真负责的做电子阅览室、电子书刊数据和网站的维护工作。电子阅览室的建设，给学校的升本工作锦上添花。自己也为学校的升本工作进了一份力量。
现在我校终于升为本科，离不开馆长正确领导工作和全馆同志的用心努力。学校进行的这个活动，是学校对大家工作的承认，对大家的鼓励。我也将会更加努力的工作，为我们的本科院校增砖添瓦。
关于评选办法，我提自己的一点意见：
1、馆长提名，然后全馆开会投票；
2、每个部门都选出1-3个人员（具体人数因部门情况而定）。选举时由除本部门以外的人员选举（比如选举阅览部的人员，由其他部门人员选举，避免了本部门有意见。准备升本工作时大家都在一起，谁好谁坏，大家都知道），选出人员送馆长审核，然后全馆开会投票。
选举办法和时间事先要保密，避免大家拉票游说，人心浮动。选举既要民主又要集中，民主可服众人之心，集中可加强领导权威。
