2011-2011学年上学期英语教师工作总结
教师:岳英
本学期我承担的三到六年级的英语教学工作。面对这些基础参差不齐的小学生,我忧虑重重。如何做好他们初学英语的领路人,为他们创设好的英语学习氛围,激发他们学习英语的兴趣,培养他们养成良好的学习习惯是我本学期教学工作的重中之重。
万事开头难。刚刚开始教学工作,我开展了以下几方面工作。1.教学进度的加快和教学内容的精简。
(1)教学进度根据实际情况科学的制定和有效执行从一个侧面反映着教学效果的好坏。三四年级英语教学进度教材规定的是一周三课时,完成全书学习内容共48课时。而三四年级的英语教学实际是一周两课时。根据目前的实际教学进度不可能在规定的时间内完成教材学习内容。需要考虑到的是我至少要留出两周的时间进行总复习。所以我的教学进度必须要快,可以用刻不容缓来形容。按照教学进度和现课时安排我从新制定了教学进度,每课完成3课时的任务量,每周必须完成一单元的教学任务。
(2)随着每节课教学量的增加,每节课的教学内容也必须要取其精华。我分析了新起点这套教材,第一层次是以学习基本单词和句子为主,第二层次是在学习第一层次内容的基础上,适量扩展话语、平行学科知识和双向文化等内容。每个单元的前三课时为教材第一层次学习内容。后三课时是第二层次学习内容。学生对基本单词和句型掌握的越牢,对后面内容的学习就越轻松。根据学生的实际情况,第一课时我把最基础和最重要的句子和单词放在课堂教学的首位。通过各种有趣的课堂活动提供真实自然的语言环境,让学生感知、模仿、交流、改进。第二课时我通常把旧知识的回顾复习放在一个重要的位置。通过多种教学手段和各种课堂活动巩固旧知,为接下来的拓展环节做好准备。同时完成教学各环节任务的时间在课前我都有一个整体的预设。每节课都在争取更多的时间来让学生进行练习巩固。
2.课堂教学方式手段多样化。
(1)课堂教学的方式。对于年龄较小刚接触英语的学生来说,他们活泼好动,注意力难以恒久,是否对英语产生兴趣,关键是让他们在课堂上带着轻松愉快的感觉学习英语。课堂上我采用了大量的TPR教学法来进行教学活动,通过大量的英语指令让学生听后做,做中说,说中做,调动他们的多种感官进行单词句型的记忆。这样的课堂学习气氛较为热烈,学生的学习情绪高涨,注意力较为集中,收到了很好的教学效果。同时,在TPR中加入了大量简单通俗的歌曲歌谣,学生边表演边演唱的形式巩固了他们对教学内容的认知,提高了他们对英语学习的兴趣。情景教学法是在教学的起始阶段我运用比较多的一种方法。其中之一是先创设一个情景,比如播放一段城市生活的录像,让学生猜出这是哪个城市,这不仅集中了他们的注意力,而且调动了他们积极思考大胆发言的热情。学生猜出是北京这个城市之后,我随即引出本单元的课题Beijing,从而让学生掌握这一单词的词型和读法,并为他们初步感知本单元学习的有关内容做好了铺垫。游戏是学生们最喜爱的活动,所以我在课堂活动中运用的最多,但这些活动是否适合一二年级的小学生参与,是否能调动他们的学习热情,并能让学生在愉快的游戏中真正学到有用的知识是最最关键的问题。所以游戏活动我本着面向全体、趣味性与实效性相结合的要求来创设。在课堂实践中可以说游戏活动的教学效果是喜忧参半,喜的是一部分活动真正达到了我课前预想的效果,比如在看水果猜单词小组竞赛中学生表现踊跃,小组之间竞争提高了他们进行活动的热情,在每次猜水果单词的过程中就是对该单词的一次或多次巩固记忆。忧的是一部分游戏还不适合一二年级的小学生参与,比如书上54页的BINGO游戏,虽然课前觉得自己设想很充分,课上已讲好游戏规则,但大部分学生还是理解不了游戏怎么玩儿,以至于在活动中浪费了很多的时间。这需要我必须做好每节课课前的备课环节,对课堂上各种活动可能会出现的问题有一个整体的预知,找到较好的解决办法,同时每节课课后要求我对课上存在的问题必须要有反思,及时调整教学策略,制定出有效解决问题的办法,提高课堂游戏活动的实效性。
(2)多种教学手段的运用。来到埔尾小学,这里的教学设施为我的课堂教学提供了很大的帮助。从刚开始接触多媒体不会制作课件,到业余时间的探索学习,我已掌握了如何使用多媒体教学,初步学会了如何制作简单的课件,并能把它运用到实际教学中去,同时收到了一定的教学效果。这对我来说是本学期的一个小小的收获。每节课课前我都根据课堂学习任务精心的准备教具。比如单词卡片、实物和课件不单单是要求美观还必须醒目,最重要的是他们必须能为本节课的教学提供有效的帮助。为了不耽误时间,每节课课前我都提前几分钟到教室,把本节课的教具准备妥当,需要的幻灯、电视和课件提前打开等等。这些看似小小的事情,却恰恰加快了英语课的教学节奏,为课堂活动的准时完成做好了充分的准备。
3.加强写字教学。我想我们教师的责任就是培养孩子从小就养成一种做事认真负责的好习惯,写字教学就是我们养成他们这种习惯的最好手段之一。我想这不仅仅是班主任老师的责任,更是我们课任老师的一种责任。
(1)规范自己的书写,给学生做示范。说实话自己很多时候是一个比较粗心大意的人,认真起来写得还可以,但不认真起来就写得很乱,为了让我的学生写好字,养成良好的书写习惯和做事认真的态度,我正在努力的做到不论写什么都认真,争取改正自己写字乱这一毛病。首先是板书。课前我要求自己对本课的板书有一个大概的设想,有时候我根据教学内容提前设计好板书,做到心中有数。在课上我的板书努力做到工整、清楚、规范和美观。在平时的教案、听课笔记、教师业务和政治学习笔记甚至是会议记录中我也一笔一划认认真真的书写,争取做到自己满意,检查的领导满意。
(2)规范学生的书写,及时给予正确的评价。本学期不论是在学生课堂的书写、上交的作业还是在期中、期末考试的卷子中我都要求学生尽全力做到书写认真、规范、美观,并及时给以检查总结和指导。一二年级的学生刚刚接触英文字母书写,尤其是一年级小学生很容易和刚学的拼音混淆,针对这一情况,我专门用一节课时间来教字母书写的笔顺、格式。为他们做好示范。平时课堂教学遇到爱混淆的字母,我运用多种教法来让学生在音型意上对其进行感知体会。在学生练写的环节我注重对他们在课上和课后的书写态度和书写成果给以及时的评价,树立书写较好的学习典型,带动全班共同进步。平时落笔的英语作业不多,主要是练习册里的习题,在上交练习册过程中我不但要记下答案准确的学生名单还要记下那些书写较好的学生名单,在纠正练习册错误时给以粘贴奖励和表扬。在总结学生的书写任务时,我关注细节,比如要求学生写错了改正时需要用橡皮蹭干净,做书上和练习册中的连线题时必须用格尺等等。这些看似很罗嗦的要求,时刻都在提醒着所有学生必须认真完成任务,争取做到最好。4.加强课堂纪律管理。有心理学家研究认为,正常情况下,教师会因为学生的违纪失去50%的课堂教学时间。这可见课堂纪律对教学活动是否有意义是多么的至关重要。我所教的的小学生很聪明,模仿能力强,接受新知识较快,但很多学生意志力薄弱,自制力差,课堂上爱分心,需要成人监督。这就需要我对学生在课堂上的纪律加以调控。
要使纪律有保障,最重要的是备好课,让教学活动具有吸引力。备课环节我必须考虑到要增强教学各环节的趣味性和节奏感,面向全体,将任务型教学贯彻始终,不给爱分心爱搞小动作的学生分散注意力的机会。对于可能在某个环节出现不守纪律的现象,比如做游戏的时候只能部分学生活动,其它未参与者应该如何做,我都在课前已做好安排,活动前提出具体要求,这样就能保证学生活而不乱。
在平日教学中我总爱穿插一些小故事讲给孩子们听。这些故事也许是我以前经历的,也许是刚刚发生的,都很有教育意义。比如课上有的孩子爱拿着铅笔回头,这样做很不安全,也影响后面同学听课。随即我就把自己亲身经历的小故事讲给他们听。这些故事都不会很长,也不会具体告诉他们必须怎样做,但是往往这些小故事能让他们集中精神,引起他们的思考,指导他们在课堂上应该怎样做。起到了一定的效果。还有就是对课堂纪律表现较好的部分集体给以较高的评价。帮助一部分学生做出正确的选择,带动其他的学生一起遵守纪律,这也是我在课堂纪律管理中常用的策略之一。其实如何管好课堂纪律上目前我还是处在摸索中,自己确实存在着很多的不足。很幸运的是本学期许多班主任老师给予了我积极的支持和帮助。可以说我的英语教学工作能有效顺利的进行是和很多班主任老师井井有条的班级管理分不开的,在此我要谢谢班主任老师们对我教学工作的关心、支持和帮助。
