更要命的是这篇小说她记起了我的少女情节。文中展现了简爱对罗彻斯特的暗恋和倾慕。从那沉静，深情的眼神可以看出，从那独一无二的话语中可以看出。也许每个女孩都有过一段或深或浅的暗恋吧，并且大部分不够勇敢不够自信将暗恋埋在岁月中。我有一女性朋友和我说她的暗恋。尤记得她朗诵简爱的话：“你以为，因为我穷、低微、不美、矮小，我就没有灵魂没有心么？你想错了！——我的灵魂跟你的一样，我的心也跟你的完全一样！要是上帝赐予我一点美和一点财富，我就要让你感到难以离开我，我现在跟你说话，并不是通过习俗、惯例，甚至不是通过凡人的肉体，——而是我的精神在同你的精神谈话；就像两个都经过了坟墓，我们站在上帝脚跟前是平等的，——因为我们是平等的！”现在想来，这段话无论与她当时的情况多么不相称、乃至虚张声势，无论以后她是如何陷入恋情是否向世俗妥协，这本书当时对一个女孩的爱情观产生的影响是不可抹杀的。
我更加佩服的是简爱的坚强独立性格。我喜欢它如诗歌一样优美流畅的语言，喜欢它描写的那些中世纪古老庄园墙脚下偶然绽放的蔷薇花，喜欢简用睿智冷静的态度观察身边的一切，更喜欢她遇到想要的就勇敢争取以及一旦下定决心就绝不回头的这股劲。她就如同一朵野百合，不媚俗,仅依靠散发自己独到的气质追寻自己的世界。
顾城说：黑夜给了我黑色的眼睛，我用它来寻找光明。简爱便是这样一个倔强的女子，困境不会阻挡她对爱情对生活的追求，如她对阿黛勒说：“只要我们努力，我们就会快乐！”
最近看一女友分手后个性签名说：“我一生渴望被人收藏好，妥善安放，细心保存。免我惊，免我苦，免我四下流离，免我无枝可依。”我不经无奈一笑。女子总是如此，易伤感，易多愁，易依赖，凡是不够积极，擅长靠男人或泪水解决问题。我想，所谓的爱情，其实是两个独立的个体互相倾慕的过程，而这样的过程里面，不能失去自己，不能像一株牵牛花一样依附别人攀爬，不能任性地要陪伴、要关心、要所有自以为融合在一起的种种要求，应当如同简爱一般，独立的人格，不因我爱你而失去自己。就如简爱对罗切斯特说：“先生，我并不认为你有权支使我，仅仅因为你年纪比我大，阅历比我丰富。你所说的权利是取决于你对时间和经历的利用。”
在当今时代，当越来越多女子把男子当成攀登的阶梯，把后半生的幸福做押注时，当越来越多男人把女子的外貌当做条件时，Jane Eyre,这束野百合越显得独到，她别有根芽,虽不是人家富贵花，却依旧温暖了众多人。
更让我想起一首歌——野百合也有春天。愿世真心相爱之人都如同简爱和罗彻斯特的happy ending 一样。
