《思达特英语》教材特点

无需音标,见词能读,听音能写;突破单词,大量阅读,全面发展。

长期以来,我国英语教学一直走的是“全词教学法”的思路,音形是分开记忆的。学生首先通过字母记住其字,然后通过音标记住发音。这是一种典型的机械记忆,心理学研究表明,这样记单词其特征是速度慢、容量小、效率低,需要多次重复,而且遗忘率高,前记后忘,后记前忘。单词关通不过,就全盘影响了听说读写,学生付出的努力收不到相应的效果。

思达特英语教学是与众不同的英语教学方法:它与目前社会上的英语学习法有着本质的区别。思达特英语抓住了两个规律:一是英语本身的表音规律;二是学生学习的心理规律。思达特英语一反传统的教学法,先从读音入手,让学生掌握科学的发音方法,抓住英语是表音文字这一语言学规律,以语音教学为核心,跨越字母、音标两道障碍,把读音和字形紧密结合为一个整体,让学生见词能读、听音能写,并在此基础上进行大量的自由阅读,在阅读中积累单词、熟悉语法、培养语感,了解英语国家的文化,全面发展听说读写能力,从而使学生掌握英语单词的普遍读法,这种方法符合语言学、心理学、文字学、教育学、接受美学等科学规律,是一种全新的可操作性极强的教学法。几年后,学生都将起码会说一口流利的英语口语。

1、立足于中国国情,培养孩子拼读单词能力

①本书紧密结合中国国情,充分借助我们的母语——汉语,来解决英语字母发音。我们总结出辅音中有24个音,是同汉语拼音非常相似的。我们的学生只需把汉语拼音稍微校正,就能轻松、简单、准确地发出标准的英语语音。而这个过程只需要20多分钟。让学生们充分体会到英语原来比汉语还好学。

②英语和汉语拼音一样都是字母文字,我们的汉语拼音见到就能拼读出来,听到就能拼写下来,不需死记硬背。这是因为我们的汉语拼音音形一致。其实英文单词也是音形一致的,在英语内部有一套表音系统,一直以来这套系统被众多中外英语专家学者喻为是只可意会不可言传的。本书将字母的音形之间的对应关系总结并表达出来,让英语学习不再借助国标音标等其他注音系统,而是让学生做到像汉语拼音一样,见词能拼读出来,听词能拼写下来,为英语学习扫清障碍。

2、知识与能力并重

学生在学习了这种方法以后,就会运用这项能力自己解决问题,跨过语音关。在培养“运用”这项能力过程中,我们有针对性的选择了常用词汇(包括小学、初中、高中及英语四级)词汇,让学生在练习过程中不知不觉掌握教学大纲所规定的小学与初中的内容。一举两得,轻松快捷。

3、结合交际场景,学以致用

《思达特英语》教材不是枯燥的让学生学习英语单词的拼读方法,而是结合一个个小场景,每个小场景中的词汇学生都可以自己拼读出来,然后在模拟英语场景中愉快的交际对话,轻松、快乐说英语。不仅练习了学生的拼读能力,而且让学生建立了学习的兴趣与自信。

思达特英语---关于英语的教学方法

1、全身动作反应法:就是在教学中,根据教师设计的语言项目,通过手、脚、等身体部位的动作来学习语言的教学方法。它的特点是采用刺激-反应-强化方式进行教学。

2、口头作文法:在教学中,围绕一个具体的交际任务,引导学生进行语言形式联系和交际练习。它的特点是不通过母语翻译而直接用外语表达思想,使学生的注意力完全集中在交际的内容上,而不是语言的形式上,语音、语法和词汇的运用是在不自觉的情况下完成的。采用口头作文法,可以直接地培训学生用外语思维的能力,没有本族语思考的介入,没有“心译”的介入。

3、分级评价法:就是在考核中把同等水平的学生划分到同一级别进行评价的方法,它的特点是既要面向全体,又要逐级择优,即使最差的学生也有获奖的机会。

4、趣味教学法:单词教学中,一般利用多种游戏进行趣味练习。例如:大小声、英汉互译、simen says、运用肢体语言做动作学生猜单词,说谜语,男女生、小组对抗赛,击鼓传花读单词,把单词编入学生会唱的英文歌曲中,学生更感兴趣,学习童谣和歌曲时编成舞蹈,效果更好。

5、背诵单词可以计时,在规定的时间内,比一比,看谁记的单词多。

6、石头、剪子、布的游戏。这个游戏在记忆单词时特别见效。当一节课新授的单词讲完了,就可以玩这个游戏了,把学生分成两组,每组派同样多的代表来参赛,排头的两名同学先比赛,谁输了就到排尾去,派一名同学记分。最后看总成绩。具体是这样的:老师说学的单词book,同学一起说book,book,book,再看谁赢。看他们玩的那么起劲,我真高兴。学生不但玩的好,同时学的单词也全都记住了。
