随着小学阶段的结束，初中学习生活又翻开了新的一页。俗话说得好，好的开头是成功的一半。就英语学习而言，虽然在小学阶段就开始了英语的学习，但是有些学生、家长、老师并不是很重视，好多孩子并没有在小学阶段养成良好的英语学习习惯，和打好扎实的基础。甚至有些孩子认为，英语无非就是做做小游戏，记记简单的单词，说说一些简单易懂的句子。针对这些情况，初中学生必须进行英语入门教育，迈好英语学习的第一步，为以后的学习打好基础。

一、培养学生的学习兴趣

1.激发学生的学习兴趣，使学生能够在轻松的情境中学习

营造轻松愉快的课堂英语学习氛围，激发学生的学习兴趣和求知欲。英语是一门语言，更是人们交流的工具，所以我们教师在课堂教学时可以尽可能地用英语授课，并注意坚持，并鼓励学生，无论在日常生活跟同学交流还是在英语课堂上尽可能多的用英语。课后也可以读一些易懂的英语小短文和小故事，保持学英语的积极向上的热情。坚持下来，学生学习英语就有了一些潜移默化的信心。

2.让学生有成功的体验，并适当引进奖励机制

课堂上提问时，要有针对性，对于难度较大的问题可以提问基础比较好的学生，如果回答得比较好，一定给予表扬和鼓励，如果回答得比较欠缺一些，可以加以引导，使之往正确的方向接近。如果问题难度一般，可以请一些基础一般的同学回答，若回答错误，也不要批评，而是正确地引导，使其自己说出答案。关于测验也类似，要难度适中，让绝大多数学生有成功的体验，这样有利于学生对以后的学习树立好信心。

3.教师要认真研究教材，认真备课，备教材，备学生

教师在备课时，不仅要吃透教材，把握好重点难点，还要对学生的学习现状把握得恰到好处。在教学时，可以巧妙地运用教具，如教学图片，视频教学等直观形象地把知识点呈现出来，对于一些重点句型，可以编成情景对话的形式让学生结合具体的情境练习。初一小孩子直观形象思维还是比较丰富的，还可以借助简笔画，实物展示来辅助教学，这样增进课堂的趣味性，有利于激发学生的学习兴趣。

4.建立新型的师生关系，重视师生间沟通交流

轻松和谐的师生关系有利于更好地开展教学工作，教师要对于学生交流，谈谈学习心得体会，给出好的学习建议，并注意倾听学生的心声，以便更好地开展教学工作，在平时的教学工作中以鼓励表扬激励为主，引导鼓励学生积极主动地去学习，并指导他们学会自主学习。

二、从基础知识入手，抓好英语知识的入门教学

1.语音教学

语音教学是七年级英语教学的根本和关键，从字母、音标入手搞好语音教学。通过音标教学，让学生掌握正确发音，学会运用音标正确拼读单词，为以后的英语继续学习增加了信心，并打下基础。

2.词汇教学

词汇是语言的最小单位，是语言的重要要素之一。因此，记忆单词是英语学习的重要环节。在英语学习中，教师要指导学生怎样记忆单词，比如：联想记忆，归类记忆，对比记忆，形象记忆等。

3.语感以及英语思维能力与习惯的培养

英语的四种能力中，听说在先，读写在后。英语最初的学习，培养学生的英语语感和英语思维习惯很重要。因此，要多鼓励学生在平时多听多说，课间可以用英语进行日常的交流。并注重英语朗读能力的培养，养成朗读的好习惯，练习口语，增强语感，并丰富自己的语言知识。

三、培养良好的英语学习习惯，并对学生进行学法指导

1.多听多说的好习惯

只有多听多说，英语口语的表达才能更流畅自然。教师还要适当地加以鼓励和表扬，提高学生的练习听说的积极性。还应该关注性格比较内向的小孩，鼓励、引导每一位学生参加到听英语和说英语的行列当中去。

2.乐于交际的好习惯

英语教学的最终目的就是为了培养学生具备用英语进行交际的能力。教师应多方位、多途径设计英语交际活动，例如开展英语活动周、校园英语节、英语课本剧汇演、英语学习经验交流、英美文化介绍、英语国家儿童生活情况集锦、评选英语大王、小博士、小能人等专题活动，营造浓郁的校园英语氛围，让学生能有广泛、自由的交流机会，在各种交流中获得信息、享受快乐、体验成功，使他们养成乐于用英语交际的好习惯。

3.及时复习的好习惯

要使语言知识和技能经常得以巩固强化，教师就需要鼓励学生勇敢克服学习当中的困难、战胜遗忘，引导他们进行有效复习、记忆和操练。此外，要布置适量的课外作业帮助学生及时复习巩固英语语言知识，教师需要采用形成性评估和终结性评估并重的原则，及时、客观、公正地对学生的课外作业做出评价。

四、教师要加强自我学习，不断提高自身素质

1.多更新观念

观念是认识问题，这是首先要解决的。对我们初中英语教师而言，最重要的是教育思想、教育理念的创新，必须树立正确的教育观念，了解先进的教育理念。注重学生的全面发展，一切以学生的发展为中心，尤其是“学困生”的发展。

2.多学习完善

教师通过自身的学习可以体会到学生的学习规律。教师一方面多学习专业知识，另一方面也可以学习一些最新的知识，比如时事新闻、最新的网络语言、国内外趣事等，把这些知识有机地放进课堂里，在一定程度上增强课堂的趣味性，可以激发学生的学习兴趣，这样可以使他们看来学英语是一件有趣又有用的事情。

3.多实践创新

英语教师要多研究课堂教学实践，积极参加各级各类的培训，学习专家和名师的方法，我们务必要立足课堂、立足学生、立足教材，有意识、有计划、有目的地对课堂教学中的现象与问题进行“教学案例”研究，在发现问题、分析问题、解决问题的过程中不断提升授课技巧，不断达到新的英语教学境界。
