第五篇：美国工作签证

工作签证

H、L、O、P类签证颁发给赴美短期工作的申请人。这几类签证都要求准备雇佣申请人的美国公司或其它机构首先在美国公民及移民事务署(USCIS)递交雇佣外国员工的申请书。如果申请被批准，雇佣公司将获发I-797 表，之后申请人即可申请签证。请点击这里查看递交申请的具体程序。

上述签证类别的具体解释:

H 签 证：H 签证签发给赴美短期工作的申请人。大多数短期工作签证的有效期为一年, 入境次数为多次。短期工作签证申请得到批准后,中国籍申请人无需支付签证签发费。但根据申请人的国籍，某些其它国家的申请人可能被要求支付一笔签证签发费。

L签证：L签证签发给被其中国公司调派到美国分公司或合资公司工作的人员。申请人必须将在美国担任经理级职务或具有专业知识，且在申请签证前的三年中至少为同一雇主或公司连续工作至少一年。大多数L签证的有效期为一年内或两年内可多次入境，其有效期长短视申请人工作许可批准书上规定的工作期限而定。如果签证申请得到批准，每位中国籍的L签证申请人必须在签证面谈时支付120美元的签证签发费。如某位L1签证申请人偕两名家属赴美，其家属申请L2签证，那么他们三人必须支付共360美元的签证签发费。凭“跨国公司集体工作许可证”前来申请 “Blanket L-1”签证的申请人还必须在面谈时交纳500美元的“打假侦察费”。“Blanket L-1”申请人不需要额外交纳120美元的签证签发费，但他们的家庭成员需要交纳此项费用。以上述家庭为例，如果主要申请人申请“Blanket L-1”签证，那么他们三人应该交纳的费用总额为740美元（此费用不是签证申请费，而是除去签证申请费之外需要另外支付的费用）。O或P类签证： 这两种签证签发给赴美进行表演、教学或参加文化交流活动的有特殊技能的演艺人员或某些行业专业人士。申请人在中国的单位和美国的接待方须与美国公民及移民事务署联系，得知如何为申请人递交上述两类工作申请。欲知更多有关文艺工作者签证及其工作许可的信息，请点击这里或访问美国公民及移民事务署有关短期工作许可的网页。

所有工作签证申请人都应该提前做好准备, 以便能够在面谈时出示下列材料和其它任何与签证申请有关的支持材料：

1.有效护照：如果您的护照将在距您预计抵美日期的六个月内过期、或已损坏、或护照上已无空白的签证签发页, 请在前来面谈之前先申请一本新护照。

商 务 和 旅 游 签 证

(B－1，B－2)

大多数非移民签证申请人是去美国进行短期商务和观光活动的。B-1签证签发给短期商务和短期自费培训者；B-2签证签发给短期观光游客；还有一种综合的B1/B2签证。如果您是赴美进行短期商务/培训或观光的，您必须：







 必须在美国以外拥有一处您不会遗弃的住所；在美国仅作限定的短期停留；在逗留结束之后会离开美国；而且有充足的资金支付此行所需费用.根据1952年修订的移民和国籍法案的214(b)条款，每个签证申请人都被合法假定为具有移民倾向。除非申请人出示以上证明，使面谈的签证官确信这种假定可以被推翻，否则申请人不可获得签证。

“B-1” 签证: B-1签证适用于短期商务旅行。这包括合同谈判，参加展览和会议，短期培训，以及和供应商与客户的洽谈。90天以下的短期培训也可使用B-1签证。（关于长期培训签证的情况，请点击这里。）B-1签证不适用于在美国工作。

“B-2” 签证: B-2 visa适用于观光旅行，如观光，探访亲友以及就医。访美期间不得工作。

国土安全局一般准予父母用B1/B2签证在美停留的时间为六个月，但是请注意任何的延期都将降低您今后获得签证的可能性。在美停留时间长达1年或更久时，我们将对您所宣称的不打算放弃国外住所这一说法产生怀疑。
