各位评委,老师们,大家好!
我是来自北京市第十七中学的初中英语教师韩清洁。
今天我能在这里参加说课活动,向各位评委和老师们学习,感到非常荣幸。我说课的课题是外研版新标准初中英语初一上册第六模块第二单元Let’s go to the cinema on Friday(一课时)。
下面我就按设计理念,课题和教学内容及学情的分析,教学目标及教学重难点的确定,教学流程及具体教学过程的设计,教学反思等方面做一个说明。
一、关于本课的设计理念
新课标对英语教学的要求就是本课的设计理念。(教师要依据课程总体目标并结合教学内容,创造性地设计贴近学生实际的教学活动,吸引和组织他们积极参与。学生通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作等方式,学习和使用英语,完成学习任务。)
二、关于课题和教学内容及学情的思考:
第六模块共分三个单元,本课第二单元是读写整合课型。话题为影视娱乐广告,要求学生学会“忽略材料中的生词,了解广告中包含的重要信息的阅读策略”,并能用写电子邮件的方式发出邀请函。本课在模块教学中的地位重要,起到承上启下的作用。
本节课之前学生已经积累了一定的有关影视娱乐话题的词汇,如日期、时间、地点的表达方法,刚刚学过的第一单元中涉及的邀请与建议的听说内容,都将有利于本课基于相同话题的读写活动的开展。
三、关于教学目标,教学重难点的确定:
根据课标的要求和教学内容的特点以及学生认知水平,确定本节课的教学目标如下:

1)To learn some common words which usually appear in entertainment adverts.2)To get a brief idea of adverts after reading.3)To be able to get necessary information from the reading material even with some new words..4)To be able to write their own email invitation after learning the format of an email.5)To be able to invite others politely in both spoken and written form.The key point: it’s important for students to learn to get necessary information from the entertainment adverts even with some new words.The difficult point: it’s difficult for them to write an invitation according to the real adverts.四、关于教学方法,教学资源的选用:
Well, I’ll talk about my teaching methods and teaching aids next.“New English Curriculum Standards” says: teachers should organise the classroom teaching using various teaching methods.So I adopt task-based approach, pwp reading and writing method.Reading is the focus in this lesson, so pwp is clear.I also integrate games and competitions into my class in order to arouse Ss’ interests and develop their awareness of participation.For teaching aids, I make full use of the modern teaching equipment, like computer and Internet, and make some kinds of teaching means, such as letters and tickets.They can motivate the students’enthusiasm and creativity in learning English.五、关于教学过程的设计:
This is the teaching flow chart.In order to implement the teaching process systematically, properly and efficiently, I divide the teaching process into six steps.The first step is Lead-in.(For this step, we’ll play a Bingo game to arouse the enthusiasm for the English lesson).Next is Pre-reading, While-reading and Post-reading.(A PK between boys and girls will go through the whole lesson.)And then is writing part.The last step is summary and assignment.Now I will explain each step in detail.Step 1 Lead-in.After greetings, I’ll show the students these pictures and guide them to say about the time and places.Some of these phrases are old and some are new.But they will all appear in the reading material.I’ll remind them by asking the questions “When is it?” , “Where is it?” or “Is it in the morning?”,etc.Then ask them to fill in a nine-blank form to play a Bingo Game.If they want to win the game, they have to stand up and invite me to do something at a special time and place using the structure “Would you like……at New Times Cinema in the morning?”.To help the game go on smoothly, I write the structure on the blackboard as a sample.There is another reason for me to write it on the blackboard.Later it can help some weak students to write an invitation individually.The purpose for this step is to arouse the Ss’ interest in this lesson and build up a bridge between the old language and the new in a natural way.Step 2 Pre-reading(An English famous linguist Wilkins once said, “Without grammar very little can be conveyed, without vocabulary nothing can be conveyed.”)I go on teaching the necessary new words about entertainment adverts, in order to remove the obstacles in reading.I also lead in the words with a series of questions “When is it?/ Where is it?/What’s the name of the film? etc.Thus, the students can have a kind of communicative interaction with me.Later I encourage them to try to understand these two adverts, even the one written in Korean.I do this to help them realize the importance of the reading skills---you can still understand a passage even with some new words.Step 3 While-reading I give students 8 minutes to read through the four adverts in the textbook and have a PK between boys and girls.(Boys do Activity One and girls do Activity Two.)Although the ability of reading adverts and charts is required in the New Curriculum Standard.To tell the truth, it’s not so interesting for students to read them.I think the most common passage can be made really exciting with challenging tasks.So I choose competition and use it several times.Step 4 Post-reading I ask some detailed questions to go on the PK, such as when / where / what / what time, etc.First, they answer them according to the book, and then without books.The purpose is to keep the students’ great passion in reading and develop their abilities of organizing the language.Step 5 Writing I show the tickets for the Lion King.Ask them, “ if you want to invite someone, what will you do?” They may suggest writing an invitation.Then I ask them to finish Activity 5 in their textbooks.Actually it’s a good sample of an invitation.After checking the answer.I help them to analyse the structure of an email invitation.And then ask them to open the letter I put on their desks in advance.(展示给评委).In it there is a ticket and a piece of paper for them to write on.I’ve already written the name of the receiver so that later each student will get one.Meanwhile, I ask a volunteer to come to my computer to send a real email invitation to me online.After 7-minute writing, they “send” it to the partner and I also encourage them to answer the invitation politely.Finally, I show them the samples on PPT and enjoy the invitation in my email box , then let them help me reply to the letter.I think I create a real task for them to finish.So during the 15-minute writing, They show great passion in all classroom activities.Step 6 Summary and assignment I ask the students to sum up the reading strategy they learn in this lesson.And give them the homework.(one piece of homework is to read three pieces of aderts or charts taken from the entrance examination to senior high school in 2003, 2004, and 2005.Another is to ask them to send me an invitation so that I can check their writing on the Internet.)English teaching and learnig can continue in some other ways after class.This is my blackboard designing.It helps students a lot both in reading and in writing.六、教学反思
本课亮点;⑴ 对教材进行了能动的处理,开发出了一系列由易到难的富有趣味性的读写任务。(教材中只有四段娱乐广告,阅读量偏少偏单一。为了扩充阅读量,领会阅读技巧,在课上和作业中我又补充了6篇广告类、图表类阅读任务。)⑵ 分组竞赛有实际意义,学习任务有挑战性,使学生始终处在积极地琢磨与参与状态中。
⑶ 设计活动有实用性,贴近生活,学有所用。(写信,上网发邮件都与他们的生活息息相关,增加学生解决实际问题的成就感)
⑷ 教学设计对深度与实操关键的把握比较准确。突发事件处理得当。(一个是老师失误造成的,看到这张幻灯片,我灵机一动,“附加题,抢答,幻灯片上有一处错误,是什么?怎么改?”安全过渡到下一环节。对个别学生课上的出乎意料解答或行为疏导合理,保证课堂走向)
本课不足:
⑴ 第一个bingo游戏台阶搭设欠细致,学生一开始推行该活动有些生涩缓慢。
⑵ 随机应变还可推敲,比如一位学生抽调上台在网上发邮件,结果有一个人轮空,没有收信人,也未接到信。我应该立刻自己接过来写就更完美了。

各位前辈老师们,你们好!我是„„很高兴有机会大家分享我的说课。我今天说课的内容是新课标高一英语„„我把我的说课内容分成六个部分
一、教学内容分析
(一)知识背景及新课程、新教材
本单元围绕考古这一主题开展听、说、读、写多种教学活动。旅游作为当今社会人们最感兴趣的话题在英语学习占有非常重要的位置。名胜古迹是旅游的重点内容之一,名胜古迹中的许多发现都来自于考古工作。所以Archaeology也是一个非常贴近生活、具有时代性、可挖掘性的教学主题。
本单元所选的语言素材涉及中外名胜,有利于学生了解外国文化,增强世界意识。正如新课程标准中的教学建议所提:学习考古有利于“拓展学生的文化视野,发展他们跨文化交际的意识和能力”;在利用现代教育技术观看历史教育片的过程中,“拓宽了学生学习和运用英语的渠道”;同时本单元的教学对教师本身历史文化修养、广阔的知识面等方面有非常高的要求,体现了师生共同不断更新知识结构以适应现代社会发展对英语课程的要求的“与时俱进”的理念和思想。
(二)教学重点难点
1.利用已有知识谈论石器时代、青铜器时代、汉朝、唐朝等时代人们的饮食起居、文化娱乐、生产工具等,为以后阅读英国的《巨石王》和中华文明的起源奠定基础。
2.调动学生的积极性,组织他们利用表达好奇功能结构谈论他们所感兴趣话题。
3.听力是这一课的难点。听力材料介绍是古代法国人用来射箭的一种武器。材料长,对武器的结构的解释比较复杂。但是学生听过材料后能够顺利地完成课本上的练习。这里不要求学生理解细节,只要能完成练习就行。
二、三维教学目标
(一)知识技能
1.学会谈论古代人的生产、生活;
2.学会表达对什么东西的好奇,如:

(二)情感态度
1.让学生了解本单元的总体学习目标,以便激发学习学习积极性。
2.从谈论石器时代、青铜器时代、汉朝、唐朝等时代人们的饮食起居、文化娱乐、生产工具等入手使学生到中国具有悠久的历史、灿烂的文化,增强学生的民族自豪感,爱国主义情操。增强学生学好英语自信心。
3.通过开展小组活动,指导学生积极与人合作,相互学习,相互帮助,培养其团队精神。
(三)学习策略
1.认知策略:通过-ology,-ological,-ologist等词根的学习,掌握archaeology,archaeologist, archae-ological等词,同时掌握同类词的学习方法。
2.调控策略:通过听力让学生了解到听力有时很难,不可求全责备。可以材料调整听力要求。有的要听懂细节,有的甚至要推断隐含内容,但有的只需要掌握大意。
3.交际策略:通过谈论古代人的饮食起居、文化娱乐、生产工具和谈论兴趣等真实交际活动提高用英语交际的能力。同时让学生了解表情、动作等非语言手段提高交际效果。
4.资源策略:让学生了解博物馆、名胜古迹和书籍资料一样是学习的重要途径。
(四)文化意识
1.了解英语国家对文化遗产保护的态度。
2.了解西方国家部分古代用具。
3.通过中外古代文化对比,加深对中国文化的理解。

教学方法(Teaching methods):
上述教学目标和重难点的确定是基于“TEFL Teaching English as a Foreign Language教学理论及方法”和“整体语言教学理论”,其中渗透当前课程改革的一些理念。为达成上述教学目标,我将运用以下教学方法以达成目标: 1.任务型教学法(Task-based method)
这篇文章内容易懂,我设计了一些任务,通过感知、体验、参与和合作等活动方式,使学生的主体地位得到充分体现。例如,要求学生阅读文章,填写信息表。2.多媒体教学法
这一单元以影视为主题,利用多媒体展示电影片段,帮助学生用自己的话概括主要内容,提高课堂教学效率,增强学生学习兴趣.3.合作学习法.(Cooperative method)
学生通过小组合作,两人合作等学会积极与人合作,与人交流,培养他们的团队合作精神。
五.教辅手段(完成教学目标离不开必要的教辅手段)

六、具体教学步骤(重中之重)
(一)导入(Lead-in

这一步骤的重点在于激发学生对考古学的兴趣,因为一般学生认为考古没什么有趣的。
活动方式:师生互动。教师盯着天花板的一处看30秒钟。引起全班同学一起去看。然后问:What do you see?
学生自然会回答:Nothing.然后再问Do you know what I was looking at? 学生自然会回答:No, I
don’t.然后告诉学生老师根本没有看什么,只是做一个动作而已。再问Why did you look at there after
me?学生答不上。老师告诉学生That is because of curiosity.再问What is the word
curiosity from?
学生学过curious,所以能答上来。老师再讲:根据心理学的观点,每个人都具有对新鲜事物认识的兴趣,这叫做Curiosity。然后给出一个新词:
Archaeology(板书课题)并指出This is a new word for you.You may want to know
it.老师再问Do you think it is a course or a science?部分学生会答Yes.接着问Why do
you think it is a science?学生会说出他们学过以-ology结尾的词。这时便可以打出幻灯片,再进行以下活动:

1.组织学生推出Physiology,zoology和sociology和汉语意义;

总结:学习构词法知识对于扩大词汇量有非常重大的意义。
最后指出今天所学内容是Archaeology.再问What are the goals in learning the unit?
(二)单元学习目标(Goals 3min)
请一个学生解释本单元学习目标(Goals),然后和全班一起关上书回忆本单元的四个学习目标。
(三)预备(Warming up 5)
活动形式:分组评论。谈论课本上的四幅图画。先指出中华民族有着悠久的历史和灿烂的文化。每年都有许多西方人到中国来旅游。如果你想为他们提供帮助,就得学会用英语谈论中国古代人的饮食起居、文化娱乐、生产工具等。然后用What
did they eat? Where did they live? What did their homes look like?
What kind of tools did they use? What objects have we found from
their age? What kind of entertainment did they have?
谈论古代人的饮食起居、文化娱乐、生产工具。
(四)听力(listening 12)
教学形式:师生互动。播放磁带让学生听第一遍,提问材料的大意。播放第二遍,让学生完成课后练习。做听力训练之前的准备工作是非常重要的。
总结:今天的听力材料较难,但是同学们能很好回答课后问题这就够了,不一定要了解那些细节,不可求全责备。根据不同制订不同学习目标是有效学习重要环节。
(五)对话(speaking 10)
活动形式:组对练习。
1.发出指令,提出要求;
2.学习会话范例;
3.给对话所用句式;
4.学生组对谈论兴趣与建议。
最后用两分钟总结本课内容和布置作业。

娱乐中的英语学习方法
英语学习方法
1、尽量选取一些著名的英文大片进行观赏;
2、随时记录一些好句子,进行中英文比较;
3、参考剧本和场景自我模仿角色练习发音;
4、反复观摩一部影片分析人物性格及思想。
自学小贴士:在观看英文电影时最好先听英文再看中文字幕,刚开始时几乎听不懂,坚持两三遍就会出现效果。尤其是在观看同一部英文电影多遍之后此效果最佳。
Reciting:全方面背单词是自学英语的核心基础
背单词的学习技巧:
1、零散时间多遍记忆法:
根据心理学研究表明,人的瞬间记忆能力最强,随着时间的推移而记忆递减,五遍左右方可记忆某一事物或人而短期不忘。我记单词的方法是:在第一天的晚上划出 200个单词准备次日记忆。早起用最多半小时将200个单词看一遍,边看长相、音标、词性和词意边读出,既练发音,又练听力,还练了记忆,一举三得。利用课余时间、等车时间、坐车时间、排队时间等一切零散时间随时进行复习,每三个小时看一遍,一天除去睡眠8小时之外至少看四、五遍。不论是否记牢固继续以每天200个单词累计五天,每星期六复习过去一个星期的单词量。如此坚持六个月,单词总记忆量会达到24000个,去掉忘记50%的单词的可能,还余 12000个。这个单词量几乎足够人生十年应用英语了!自学小贴士:记单词最不实际的方法是用两个小时当场记牢十个单词,一天记十个,第二天忘记七八个。最简单而实用的单词记忆方法就是对一个单词不必当场记下而是循序渐进反复多遍,久而久之而积累多多,最重要的是长时间而记忆犹新!不信你可以试试。
2、词根词缀记忆法:
至少50%的单词都会存在词根、前缀和后缀。如果找到这些单词的组成规律则可以非常有效地记忆原本繁琐复杂的各种词汇。
词根词缀记忆法总口诀:前缀改变词义,后缀改变词性。
陈旧的英语学习方法是重视英语语法,应付考试,在大学英语四六级等考试中取得高分,不可否认重视英语语法可以让初学者打好英语的基础,但事实上,很多取得了四六级证书的大学生依然无法开口说英语,很多人把这种现象戏称为--“哑巴英语”。我不太同意这种说法,我认为造成哑巴英语的根本原因是我们的教育体制出了问题,那就是在语言初期学习阶段我们忽略了英语听说训练而已。在尝过了英文电影学习的甜头之后,我又开始了从听力突破口语语音方法的创新。后来的学习证明这个方法也是很有个性化和实践提高的。
练习听力的技巧:
1、一定要选取一套比自己的实际水平略高些的听力教材进行强化训练。
对于英语初学者来说,选取合适的学习教材极其重要,这套教材可以是一个系列或上下两册,但难易程度必须和学习者相结合。如果难度太大,则会打击英语初学者特别是自学者的学习信心,如果过于简单则容易给英语初学者造成错觉,以为自己短期的学习取得了极大的成绩。我曾经自学很多英语听力教材,比如,Step by step, College English, Listen to this, Crazy English等等,经过长时间的比较,我发现Listen to this(又名英语初级、中级、高级听力)这套教材深入浅出、从简到难、循序渐进,最适合于英语自学者进行强化训练。
自学小贴士:建议自学者从英语初级听力开始,必须买学生用书(练习)和教师用书(答案),初级部分含九盒磁带。
2、固定每天不少于1个小时,精听加泛听。
古人云:“只要功夫深,铁杵磨成针。”讲的就是让我们无论是在做事还是学习的时候都得把功夫做到位,否则一事无成。对于英语初学者来说,最简单的是一切可以从头再来,但最难的莫过于坚持二字。所谓精听就是根据学习的进度每天固定听一个小单元,尽最大努力把句子和文章的意思都听懂。泛听是指随时随地用外放的录音机听一些英文歌曲、英文电影对白或英语新闻等,实际上是给初学者自己制造一定的英语学习环境。
自学小贴士:记住一个原则,我们的听力不好最主要的原因是我们以前练的听力太少,不然就是我们自己的耳朵存在听力障碍!
3、手拿铅笔作记号并提前预读猜测。
在听力练习的最初阶段最好养成手拿一枝铅笔对听力内容进行短暂时间的预读的良好习惯。在英语考试中,考试者都会提前拿到考卷,考官一般建议考试者写下考试姓名、准考号码等,不许答题,但可以预览考卷。对于英语初学者来说,如果利用这一短暂时间对听力内容进行预读则可以获得很多的考试信息。对于填空题,可以通篇读完,获得概意,对部分填空进行猜测;对于选择题,读选择项有助于提高正确率;对于问答题,则直接看提问部分,在听力过程中尤其注意精听提问部分即可。
自学小贴士:手拿铅笔可以在预读中对重点单词、句子轻轻划出相应记号以配合听力。但在考试结束前尽量擦掉,保持卷面整洁,否则可能会扣分的。
4、对于极其优美的篇章进行听写训练。
听写一直是我极力推荐的学习方法。表面上看每一个学习者在精听一段听力材料后似乎都听懂了全部意思,但不尽其然,对于一些优美的篇章进行更深入的学习是有必要的。听写则是最急需最有效的方法。
自学小贴士:尽量用外放的录音机进行听力训练,在做听写训练时,可通过按暂停键自我控制时间。如此反复之后,你会发现两个结果:
一、听写的错误很多;
二、听写后对于听写的内容印象极其深刻,甚至难以忘掉!Speaking: 我们在日常交流中的真正法宝
有很多的英语爱好者经常会在学习若干年英语过后会陷入一个怪圈,那就是无法用英语和美国人进行日常交流。自己既很难用英语把想说的内容表达出来,而且最要命的是几乎听不懂美国人说的流利英语,就算是美国人说的再慢,在我们几个“pardon”之下他又重复无数遍,我们依然听不懂。为什么我们会掉入进退两难的境界?原因只是两个:

练习口语的技巧:
1、多开口说英语,少沉默不语;
2、多模仿经典对白,少一点思考语法;
3、多用心用笔记下好句子,少一些无谓的篡改写作;
4、多与高手或外国人交流,少去口语角重复了千百遍的话。

读英语书的技巧:
1、有所选择地去读好书,不读炒作书或所谓的畅销书;
理由:回顾过去,你会发现一些所谓的畅销书已经在今天销声匿迹了。
2、多读中英文对照的中外名著,有助于突破文化理念;
理由:读纯英文版本的书可能会让你不知所云,因为你就不是美国人。
3、精读和研究优秀的外国演讲名家或总统竞选的文章;
理由:读书的目的在于吸取人物事件背后的思想精华,引起你的思考。
4、读好书后及时写出一篇随意思考的读后感修改保存;
理由:创作的灵感只会留在一瞬间,稍纵即逝,写作可以让你更聪明。
