中学英语教学法研究

任务型语言教学在确定教学活动时,往往从三个方面考虑:

1、语言知识的引入如何与主题结合;

2、语言知识的积累和语言技能的训练如何与主题结合;

3、语言的输出如何围绕主题展开。

任务型语言教学的教学程序通常是:教师先探讨新的话题,并介绍新的词汇和短语,然后给学生布置任务。学生结对或分组完成任务,教师则在一旁协助。分组做任务的学生要讨论如何把他们做的结果和过程告诉其他同学。这种报告既可以是口头的,也可以是书面的。在语言学习阶段,教师再总结语言的特点和用法。

分享型号任务:指教师运用“学生资源”,组织学生共同完成学习任务。这类练习在各国外语教学中被广泛使用,特别是用于口语练习。与我国传统教学模式中的“句型操练”和“教师命题——学生准备——课堂表达”之类非交际性和机械性练习相比,分享型任务更注重课堂任务的交际性,同时能在课堂中最大限度地保证每个学生的参与性。对“学习者自主”理念的探索

“学习者自主”理念最早由欧洲委员会(Council of Europe)1981年提出,倡导在语言教学中充分尊重学习者自主权,此后得到众多语言工作者响应和研究,在国际语言教学中日益爱到重视。Dickinson对“学习者自主”作了具体阐述。他认为,学习者不应当作为被动的接受者(receiver)来完成表面互不关联的学习任务,而应作为积极的参与者与教师一起介入任务的设计、活动的开展和对任务艰巨的评价;学习者应在最大程度上学会自主与独立学习;学习者对语言和语言学习了解得越多,对学习过程的控制就越强,从而对自身发展就越具责任感。换言之,自主学习的学生将能决定学什么、怎样学和何时学,由此他们对自己的学习更具责任感,学习动机(motivation)也就越高。归纳起来“自主”理念包含两个重要特征:对学习任务的选择性(choice)和对自身的责任感(sense of responsibility)。“学习者自主”理念的提出和发展促进了把课堂由:教师为中心:向以“学生为中心”的转变,也对学习者的研究起到重要加强作用。同时,“自主学习”的理念与近年来国内开展的任务性学习研究与实践密切关联。别一方面,在实际教学中,学习者怎样进行自主学习又在何种程度上能自主学习在很大程度上取决于对“学习者自主”理念的认识和理论探讨。笔者认为:这种子选手探讨应在一个较大的概念框架内进行,即把与“学习者自主”观念相联系的社会与情感因素纳入探讨的范围,包括学习者个性与学习风格、学习者需求、学习者的学习策略、学习者在学习过程中的角色扮演待因素,同时“学习者自主”与“教师主导”之间的关系也是将纳入探讨的重要因素。

独立型任务:就是让学生在没有教师帮助的情况下在课堂上独立完成某些学习任务。例如在阅读中让学生从上下文猜词的意思、借助词典阅读了解课文大意等练习都属于独立型任务。独立型任务的特点是:培养学生面对挑战独立解决问题的能力。名词解释

1、任务型语言教学

任务就是人们在日常生活、生活、娱乐活动中所从事的各种各样有目的的活动。任务型语言教学的核心思想是要模拟人们在社会、学校生活中运用语言所从事的各类活动,把语言教学与学习者在今后日常生活中的语言应用结合起来。任务型语言教学把人们在社会生活中所做的事情细分为若干非常具体的“任务”,并把培养教育学生具备完成这些任务的能力作为教学目标。

2、语言教学目标

语言言教学目标指课堂教学中教师通过教学要达到的语言目标。语言教学目标分为四类,即语言目标、概念目标、技能目标和语体目标。语言教学目标还可以根据课时的需要再具体划分为子目标和最小目标。

3、学习者自主

在英语学习过程中学习者要遇到各种语言材料,而这些材料中总有某部分(词汇、语法、概念、内容)超出学习者的经验,使学习者具有完成任务所需的经验,否则学习者就无法成功地完成学习任务。就此意义上说,我们可以把我国英语学习者及基经验分为几种类型。

8、水平测试

水平测试不依据任务教学大纲及基相应的教材内容和要求来命题,而是根据对所需人才的外语水平是否达到能胜任某一新的学习任务或工作。被测者可能来自各个方面,通过测试选拔基中的优秀者,选拔人才的考试属于这一类测试。

9、语言学习目标

为贯彻交际法教学原则,新西半学者保罗。内辛(paul Nation,1991)认为语言学习目标(language learning goals)可以按照学习要求分为四类:

A、学习包括语音、词汇、语法结构在内的语言体系的“语言目标”(language goal);

B、了解所学材料内容和概念的“内容或概念目标”(idea or content goal);

C、以语言技能培养为目标的“技能目标”(skill goal);

D、以培养话语分析能力为目标的“话语目标”(discourse goal);

10、效度

效度是指测试的内容及基方式是否符合测试的目的的要求。如果符合测试的目的要求,测试的结果也达到了既定的测试目的,那么,就可以说这个测试是有效的,即具有高效度。检查效度一般下列几种方法:

A、根据卷而效度来检查

B、根据内容效度来检查。

C、根据经验效度来检查。

D、根据观念效度来检查。

11、信度

信度是指测试成绩的稳定性和一致性。如果测试成绩能如实地反映考生的实际英语水平,那么,这种测试的信度就高。反之,信度就低。信度是效度的前提,如果测试所得的成绩不能反映考生的实际水平,则测试的效度就没有可靠,但测试效度低,测试就失去意义。检查测试的信度,有下列四种方法:

A、重测法。

1、什么是综合性的听?

综合性听的单位是句子以上的有新内容或新信息的话语。一般可听2次或2轮,第一轮听懂,第二轮检查。综合性听的难度大,为了使学生保持和提高听的兴趣,对听的要求可逐渐提高。如最初听难度低于所学课材料的,学习习惯后再提高难度,也可以最初只要求听懂内容梗概(主人公是谁,故事发生的地点和主要过程,或听到的新知识、新消息是什么等),然后逐步要求捕捉某些细节。综合性听的材料可从电台、电视台播放的英语教学节目和一些流行的国外教材中选编,如《每日英语》、〈跟我学〉、〈新概念英语〉、〈初级英语复述故事〉等,还可以把一些同步读物录音给学生听。所听材料中可含个别生词,如果属于关键词,听之前要交待一下,如果是通过上下文可猜测基意义的词,听之前就不用交待了,可以写在黑板上,让学生听时注意,看谁猜测得准,以此引起兴趣。

就我国中学英语教学的主要倾向来说,语法教学的问题可以归纳为“五重”和“五轻”

重知识传授,轻技能训练;重详细讲解,轻反复练习;重书面练习,轻口头练习;重语法分析,轻语法使用;重掌握规则,轻掌握实例。“五重”和“五轻”问题的来源,一是历史传统上语法翻译法占统治地位;二是对语法理解片面,一是语法就认为是关于语言的规则知识,认为语法就是词表变化和句子构造,忽略语法的交际功能,把语法理解为检验言语的手段,而不是推动言语的手段;三是各级英语考试在语法方面抠得太细、太死,某些在实际交际中都通行的语法形式和用法,在我们的试题中却有正误之分,使得教师和学生不得不在语法上花费过多的时间和精力,甚至分析语法成癖。

6、课文教学目前存在的问题?

7、什么是分析性的听?

朗读的困难,中学生朗读除语调和发音方面的常见问题外,主要困难有两点:A:由以词为单位过度到以意群(语段)为单位的困难。这是朗读的第一难关。由于学生在入门阶段已形成以词为单位的拼读习惯,而且书上的句子和课文里词与词之间界限分明,所以朗读句子和课文时总是趋向于一个词读后停顿一下,换一口气再读下一个词。B:由不自主过度到自主的困难。中学生朗读英语常常是速度和声音高低没有变化,听起来不够自然。

10、复习课温故知新的作用是什么?

英语复习课的作用就是“温故知新”。所谓温,就是要学生重温已习得的知识和技能,使记忆中的痕迹得到强化,使知识更加巩固、技能更加熟练;所谓知新,也就是在重温的过程中,把已有知识加以整理、归纳、概括,使知识更系统化、模式化、规律化,得到更深、更新的理解,使技能在熟练中生巧。另外,以复习课是巩固知识和技能、发展知识和技能的重要课型。由于复习课是在回忆、联想和归纳概括的基础上把知识加以系统化、深化,因而它的核心是理解和应用。复习课的基本结构是四要素、六环节。

11、为什么要在教学中确定学习目标?

将英语学习目标分类,不仅使教师明确所教内容的类型,而且有利于把内容量化以便进行任务设计。英语学习目标一旦确定,在备课时老师设计的学习任务就有了中心。

1.能力倾向测试

能力倾向测试的目的不是检查应试者的现有英语水平,而是判断应试者学习语言的禀赋或潜在能力,因而又称为“语言禀赋测试”。测试的内容不应是应试者所学的知识,而是应试者的智能,如学习英语所需要的敏感性、模仿力、记忆力、观察力以及逻辑推理、分析比较、综合归纳等思维能力。
