Introduction
This is a trade thoroughfare that links Asia and Europe in the past dynasties.This is
an important bridge that promotes the economic and cultural exchanges.This is a thoroughfare that owns treasure trove of historic sites. The Silk Roadrefers to theancient trade route connecting Asia Continent and
European Continent,usually it can be classified into Northern Silk Road on the land，Southern Silk Road on the land and the Silk Road on the sea.(Transition: For a very long period in history, there were many famous stories related to the road, e.g.zhangQian, who was sent by Emperor Wudi of Han to the western regions;Eminent Monk Xuan Zang, who made a journey to the west in search of Buddhist scriptures)

The silk road dates back to the second century B.C when ZhangQian, a Chinese
official and envoy of the royal court, embarked on his business trip to Xiyu(meaning western countries)
Originating from Chang’an(the present-day Xi’an), the route traversed Shaanxi
Province, the Hexi Corridor in Gansu Province, the Tarim Basin in Xinjiang, the Parim mountain region, Afghanistan, Iran, Irap and Syria, ending at the eastern shores of the Mediterranean.More than 4000 of its 7000 kilometers were in China. For over a thousand years up till the 15th century, China brought its silk cloths and
goods, gunpowder, and paper making and printing techniques to the west via this road.This road, in return, introduced into China Buddhism and Islam as well as grapes, walnuts, pomegranates, cucumbers, glass, perfume and other products from the outside world.(Transition: After saying so much, I want to ask you a question: Why it is called the Silk Road, not the ……….road?)
Because among all the goods which were in exchange through the road, the China’s
silk is the most typical one.(Why it is so typical?)
It is a symbol of the prosperity of civilization of East Asia.So European scholars
came to call it the “silk road”.Conclusion
I’m very proud not only because a wealth of historical relics and interesting local
cultures along the part of the Silk Road in China, but also because the active role we Chinese played in developing this road.I’m very proud not only because such a great history my country enjoys but also because the initiative spirit we are born with.I’m very proud of being a Chinese. I hope you will understand and appreciate how brave and hardworking we Chinese

Characteristic: simple, heart for mankind
Good evening, my classmates.It’s a great honor to deliver a speech to all of you.Today I will make a speech to commemorate one of the best scientists that ever lived.He is the Jewish who has a kind heart like a child.He is the scientist who cannot speak even at three years old.He is the genius who discovered the miracle of the world of high speed.He is the peace seeker who feels so regret about his research.He, is Albert Einstein, a simple scientist who has a heart for all mankind.When I referred to simple, you may think of the folk saying goes like: too young, too simple.But simple I mean here is that Einstein has the curiosity like a child, the rebel spirit like a teenager, and the spirit of thrift.We have all seen the photo of Einstein which he sticked his tongue out like a child.And he does have the curiosity about the principle of the world like a child.This lay the foundation of his later research.And he is also a rebellious person.When he entered the college, he became so disgust about the education system, so he devoted most of his time into the subject he loved.It is his character which led him to the discover of the theory of relativity.His character contributed to his research and without his simple character, we would not appreciate the beauty of the world of high speed.And he is also a economical scientist who takes little care about the fame and wealth.He once said that, I believe in one thing–that only a life lived for others is a life worth living.From this sentence we can learn that he is a child-like person who knows appreciation and dedication.He devoted his most time and energy into the research and contribution to the humanity.Einstein is not only a simple person but also a person who has a heart for all mankind.We all know that Einstein is an optimistic and kind-hearted man.When the World War 1 broke out, he declared his anti-war attitude firmly.Despite the fact that he is a Jewish, he still risk to fight against the Nazis.When he heard that his theory led to the production of atom bomb, he was so regret that he would rather hadn’t discovered the theory of relativity.Many people regard him as the keeper and engineer of the human conscience.In 1955, Einstein, one of the greatest scientists passed away.The world felt the sorrow.Though his flesh on longer exist, his theory of relativity remained, and his heart of the mankind touched all of us and his simplicity gave us too much inspiration.Thank you.

In a 2007 interview with ABC News, Wozniak recounted how and when he first met Steve Jobs.He said: ”We first met in 1971 during my college years, while he was in high school.A friend said, 'you should meet Steve Jobs, because he likes electronics and he also plays pranks.' So he introduced us.“And from the photo we can see that Jobs and Woz have a really close friendship.Here is a small story about their early start.In 1973,company Atari paid Jobs several thousand dollars because Jobs and Woz’s work.But Jobs told Wozniak that Atari gave them only $700 and that Wozniak's share was thus $350.Wozniak did not learn about the actual bonus until ten years later, but said that if Jobs had told him about it and had said he needed the money, Wozniak would have given it to him.7st
In 1976, Wozniak developed the computer that eventually made him famous.He alone designed the hardware, circuit board designs, and operating system for the Apple I.Jobs had the idea to sell the Apple I as a fully assembled printed circuit board.Wozniak, at first skeptical, was later convinced by Jobs that even if they were not successful they could at least say to their grandkids
they had had their own company.The funny thing is that Apple I sold for $666.66.Wozniak later said he had no idea about the relation between the number and the mark of the beast, and ”I came up with [it] because I like repeating digits."

Wozniak lives in Los Gatos, California.He is a Freemason, despite not having faith in a supreme being(which is required by Masonic rules).Wozniak describes his impetus for joining the Freemasons as being able to spend more time with his wife at the time.9nd
