Every week, my family climbs the Fragrant Hill.Usually, my father drives us to the hill.I think I could drive the car when I grow up.We went there by bus in the past, but it is too crowded and we must wait for a long time.If is convenient in the future, the bus will be taken.I was in a poor health when I was young.I often got fever and cannot go to school.My mother is a pharmacist;she used to let me take some medicine to make me feel better.However, the medicine is bitter and until now I am afraid of taking it.Mother thought a lot of ways to make me strong, so I learned how to swim and how to ride…But my favorite is still climbing because climbing not only makes me strong, but also makes me breathe fresh air and enjoy the beautiful scenery.Fragrant Hills Park is a beautiful park.In spring, there are kinds of flowers such as peach blossom, pear flower, and many other flowers which I don't know the name.It is colorful and nice.In summer, the park is much cooler than other places because there are so many trees.Fragrant Hill is famous for red maple leaves in autumn.Every autumn, there are a lot of people come to the park enjoying the red leaves.I had to get up early to climb the hill is if late, we have to come back home in the late evening, which is not a pleasant thing.My favorite season is winter;fewer people will come to the hill because of the cold weather.If it snows, the hill will become even more beautiful.It was one of the eight most famous beauties.And similar to the Summer Palace, Fragrant Hills Park in Qing dynasty was royal gardens.It has many beautiful buildings, such as Temple of the Xiangshan.I heard my mother said once there was a beautiful temple like Potala Palace, which was built for the Panchen Lama coming to Beijing to visit the Emperor.Unfortunately, these beautiful buildings were set fire by British and French troops in 1860, but some buildings have been rebuilt.We usually drink some tea in the misty cave.This place is a good choice for us to have a rest when we are tired after climbing.Many celebrities are associated with the Fragrant Hills Park.Here's a famous Shuangqing Villa.The owner called Xiong Xiling, the first Prime Minister of the Republic of China in 1918.He set up Xiangshan charity kindergarten which is specifically picking up the poor and orphans.I think he is great.In 2007 I was graduated from this kindergarten.Chairman Mao once lived in the Shuangqing Villa, where he conducted the river battle.A famous photo was taken when Chairman Mao was reading the newspaper by the side of Villa pool.Now, this area became a museum.I love the Fragrant Hills Park, but there are some problems as well.Some people shouted in a loud voice on the Hill, causing many birds afraid and flying everywhere.Birds are the friend of human, and the Park is birds’ home.On the way up, we often see discarded paper and plastic bags.These plastic bags will be decomposed in 40,000 years.For our Earth this is a terrible pollution.To cherish the environment is to love ourselves.I often take a bag to pick up some small waste.I think if all of us cherish the environment, our home would become more and more beautiful.
