好记性不如烂笔头

已到年关，即客家人所说的入年挂，街头巷尾行人如织，还真是热闹，卖对联的大红映红了市民的脸庞，处处都能感受到一股浓浓的年味。

刚放假两天，就接到姐夫的电话，说年关人手不够，叫我到他店里帮帮忙。“我一个教书的能帮什么忙啊？”“教书人斯斯文文，说话客客气气，还有个好记性最适合帮忙点菜了，你过来就是了······”话还没说完电话那头已经挂了，可见姐夫一家子有多忙。也好，让我这个“清高”的知识分子也体验一番百姓生活。

姐夫在车站旁开了一间小餐馆，早餐午饭夜宵样样不落，两口子起早贪黑，加上手艺不错，热情周到，生意还算红火。年关车站人来人往，夫妻俩更是忙得不可开交，恨不得一天经营48小时。

第二天一大早，我就驱车到了姐夫店里。只见摊档灯火通明，厨房里热气腾腾。橘红的灯盏下一帮顾客风卷残云的样子，那神情，犹如交出作品获得满堂喝彩的小学生，得意而满足。我调侃地问姐夫在做早点还是夜宵，姐夫说我真会开玩笑。姐夫叫我到一旁，一本正经地说：“从现在开始，你有两个任务：一是负责招呼客人，口才你们老师比我好。二是记菜单，腌粉、腌面、煮粉、煮面、白粥、瘦肉粥、鸡蛋肠粉、瘦肉肠粉、三及第、猪肉牛肉汤。客人点好菜就马上报到厨房来，记住，千万不要记错了，顾客可得罪不起！”简明扼要嘛，三下五除二的事，放心吧。”我嘴里重复着姐夫说过的那几道菜。不一会儿就有一群年轻人朝店里走来。招呼他们坐下后，我便笑着问他们吃点什么。他们七嘴八舌说了一通：腌粉瘦肉汤不加狗杞叶、鱼头煮粉加咸菜、鸡蛋肠粉不加葱花，腌面牛肉汤加酒糟不加西红柿，腌面猪腰汤加芹菜······，菜色五花八门，叫我六神无主，我这记性看来是应付不了，这可不像是记学生姓名那么简单！还好，我勉强记起来了。嘴里叨念着几样菜色正要报给姐夫时，又有两人说要改口换汤。好一群嘴刁的年轻人，个个都是美食家啊，出门在外哪那么讲究！我顿了顿，又在嘴里重复了一遍菜色，朝厨房跑去。

又一帮人过来了，仔细一数，十一个。我心想，这下没辙了，记性再好也难免会出错吧。怎么办呢？我寻思着。有了，我忙掏出身上改完试卷还留在口袋里的笔，顺手抓起一张桌上的报纸就要记起来。不出所料，十一个人，十一个不同的菜：蛋炒粉、蛋炒面、牛肉煮粉、鱼头白菜煮粉、瘦肉咸菜汤、瘦肉枸杞叶汤······，加的佐料更是五花八门、花样百出，加葱花加蒜蓉加酒糟加咸菜加枸杞叶加香菜······，还是我棋高一着，唰唰唰，不一会儿功夫全都给记上了！好记性不如烂笔头嘛！

接下来的几天里，凭着我这支烂笔头把着点菜关，没有一个顾客的菜被上错。姐夫笑着夸我说老师就是老师，点菜都比别人厉害。看来，“好记性不如烂笔头”这句天天在学生面前念着的口头禅，都快成了放之四海而皆准的真理！不仅在课堂上巩固知识发挥作用，更是在生活中给我们带来了诸多的帮助。
