A Report on Children's Gratitude to Their Parents

Children's lives are given by their parents and originally,children should be grateful to them.Hower,not all the children can do so.A report made recently suggests that one-fourth of the people think that to raise children is the duty of their parents and so children needn't express any gratitude to them.Another one-fourth of the people suppose that there is a big gap between them and their parents.They don't know how to communicate with their parents,let alone to say gratitude.Others say that they hate to express any gratitude.It is boring.

To respect parents and express our gratitude to them is a good tradition of Chinese people.As far as I am concerned,to we should show our respect and gratitude to our parents.They give birth to us,and undoubtedly we are supposed to be grateful to them in return.

目前,高等学校在职业教育方面存在着一些突出问题,学校教育与学生就业及市场对人才的需求相脱节,教学实效性较差,教学工作处于尴尬局面。在采用抽样调查法、问卷调查、走访等方法后,对商务英语专业市场人才需求的状况,对商务英语专业学生教学及课程开发的要求等情况进行了调查与分析,以有利于改革高职高专教育和教学工作。

就业市场商务英语人才需求

在国民教育体系中,职业教育是一个不可忽视的重要组成部分,因为它是促进经济、社会发展和劳动就业的重要途径。职业教育就是就业教育,社会需求是职业教育的生产力。只有坚持改革、创新,根据市场需求,及时调整专业,才是职业教育可持续发展的根本途径。

20xx年8月至20xx年9月,吉林省教育学院外语系《高职商务英语专业课程开发与课程设置改革的研究》课题组在吉林省、辽宁省、浙江省以及北京、上海、深圳、杭州、义乌、大连等地进行一次市场人才需求社会问卷抽样调查,力图调查社会对商务英语专业人才的需求情况,了解一些基本情况及所占比例,为商务英语专业进一步发展提供依据,并按社会需求和就业导向进行课程开发和改革,重新制定以就业为导向,以学生职业生涯规划为主线的>教学计划,使专业及其课程设置更趋完善、有效,并符合当代社会发展的需要,具有时效性。

一、关于调查问卷

1、问卷调查的问题

本次调查问卷是由课题组成员共同设计的。由三部分组成,即调查单位基本情况、主体问卷以及对商务英语专业课程设置的情况调查,共设计问题35个,其中调研单位及被调查者个人基本情况5个,市场人才需求和课程设置调查具体问题30个。

2、问卷调查的途径

此次调查问卷发放采取的方式有两种,一是邮寄问卷,二是通过走访的方式,直接到调查单位发放问卷,与管理者进行面对面的交流和采访,并把答卷当场提交上来。邮寄的调查问卷以及走访单位的范围包括全国5个省、12个市,共发放问卷500份,收回问卷156份,其中有效问卷128份。

二、基本情况

本次调查的单位主要涉及国营和事业单位、民营企业、中外合资企业、商贸和股份

制公司、个体及私营公司等。从企业规模看,大型企业占22、0%、中型企业占31、5%、小型企业占46、5%。从企业的.经济类型看,国有企业占10、4%、民营企业占23、5%、中外合资企业占9、0%、商贸和股份合作制公司占25、5%、个体和私营公司占31、6%。

调查以公司和>企业管理者为对象,其中企业经营者职务为董事长、总经理、厂长、企业高层副职占26、0%,市场部及人事部经理职务占38、5%,工程师和技术人员8、7%,公司职员17、5%,其它职务占9、3%。受调查的128人中,男性占64、1%,女性占35、9%、

三、对商务英语专业人才需求情况

在本次调查中,在问到调查单位目前是否有引进商务英语人才计划时,有60、9%的单位选择了“有”;暂未考虑和没有的分别为23、4%和15、6%。这说明市场对商务英语专业毕业生需求是比较大的,培养的前景是乐观的。调查中,认为最受企业欢迎的商务英语专业毕业生类型是“学习成绩好,并具有较强的社交能力的”占60%,其次是“社交能力强”的占27、9%,而“学习成绩好”的占12、1%、可见综合素质高是最受欢迎的毕业生类型。

在问到对商务英语专业毕业生的具体要求(可多种)时,提出“英语口语好”的比例最多占61、6%,依次是“交际能力强”占53、8%,“具有扎实的基本功,业务能力强”占42、6%,“有一定的商务实践能力”占40、5%,“英语+商务”占19%,毕业生“要过英语四级”的占18、5%,“有国家二级计算机证书”的占10、3%,“具有良好的职业道德和就业观念”占5、6%,“形象气质佳”的占3、1%。

对于职业资格证书对毕业生是否重要的问题上,调查单位表示重要的比例为45%,认为不太重要,重实际能力的占54、7%。由此可看出用人单位已倾向于看重毕业生的实际能力和水平,但从统计的比例数也可看出目前不少单位还是重视毕业生是否拥有各种证书。

四、对商务英语专业学生教学及课程开发的要求调查

在本次调查中,调查单位对商务英语专业教学和课程设置的问题是比较关心的。在问到商业英语专业的英语基础课是否需要以商务内容为学习材料时,有82、5%的单位选择了同意;不同意也不反对和不同意的分别占12、3%和5、2%。这表明商务英语专业的英语基础课的教材以商务内容为学习英语技能的材料是符合市场需求的。

在商务英语专业的专业课教学应该用英语进行还是借助汉语讲授的问题上,同意借助汉语讲授商务知识的比例最高占45、3%,同意用英语讲述的比例占33、6%,不同意也不反对的比例是21、1%。可见,赞成借助本族语学习商务知识的比重较大,说明专业知识的学习与英语技能的培养相关性不是十分大。

在问到针对商务英语专业的学生在大学期间应开设哪些课程为好时,有31、5%的经营者建议开设“商业英语精读”和“商业英语听说”课程;要求开设“>国际贸易实务”、“商务礼仪”和“>市场营销学”的比重也较大分别为25、6%、14、1%和10、9%;

“商务英语写作”占18%,“>电子商务”占16、3%,“国际金融”15、3%,“经济学”占14、6%,还有提出开设“>社会学”和“管理学”等。

五、存在的主要问题及改进建议

通过此次调查了解到,用人单位对学校培养学生方面有较高的要求,其中认为学校应该培养学生能够与各种人打交道,具有较强的沟通能力的比例最高达到了43、5%,其次是:培养学生具有较强的实务操作能力(21、5%)、培养能力和知识相并重的学生(19、3%)不太清楚或无建议(15%)。

在问到“您作为用人单位,能否就高等职业院校商务英语专业的学生培养方面,提出一些宝贵意见和建议”时,有的调查单位表现出很强的社会负责感,提出了很多建设性的意见和建议,归纳起来有以下几个方面;1)提高学生的整体素质;2)培养思想道德好的学生;3)要求学生打好英语语言基础,口语流利并具有较强的商务实践能力;4)学校要注重教学质量;5)找实践单位,参加社会实践学习,进行实用型教育;6)要培养学生具有一定的书面表达和翻译能力;7)鼓励学生增强自信精神;8)培养学生具有社会交往能力,提高整体形象等。

从此次调查问卷可以看出,用人单位对毕业生和学校的要求都具有较强的实用性和针对性的特点,既要求学生有较高的英语语言技能,尤其是英语口语水平,又需要学生具有较好的商务实践和商务沟通能力,也对学校提出了培养学生的综合素质和提高教育教学质量的要求。这些调查结果应引起我们极大的关注和重视,有待在今后的商务英语专业教学中进行调整和强化,它也是进行商务英语专业课程开发和课程设置改革的重要依据,具有宝贵的参考和实用价值。

1, The sample of the survey :

In the survey, there are 16 student s , accounting for 22.85% of the total;The White-collar workers and the company staff a total of14 people, accounting for 20% of the total;there are 9 Ordinary workers, accounting for 12.85% of the total;Individual businessman 11 people, accounting for 15.7% of the total;There are 20 people for the others , accounting for 28.6% of the total.2, The condition of the age of the respondents:

15-25, there are 27 people, young people accounted for 38.6% of the total;25-35, there are 18 people, accounting for 25.7% of the total;there are 17 people of 35-45 years , accounting for 24.3% of the total;Eight people over the age of 45, and 11.4% of the total.3, A monthly income of respondents status:

there are 19 people’s Monthly income of 800 yuan of the following , accounting for 27.2% of the total, most of them are students;Monthly

income of 800-1500 with 16 people, 22.8% of the total;Monthly income of

1500-3000 with20 people, 28.6% of the total;Monthly income of more

The age between 15 to 25 years of age of the population, accounting for

38.7% of the total survey people, between 25 to 35 years old and 35 to 45

years old crowd accounts for 25.8%, more than 45 years of age accounted for

9.7%, young people almost for the students and enter society worker , they

demand for clothing diversification, the pursuit of fashion, individuality, which

focus on the quality of the clothing men over women..People who age

between 25 to 35 years old, most of them are worker or married, years of office

worker, when choosing clothing clothes they don’tlike 15 to 25 years old

young people considered design, the quality of the dress, the price in purchase

factor is also a big factor for them , because of their work need, need to dress

looks more mature.Ranging in age from 35 to 45 years old people over the

age of 45, when they buy clothes, the more consideration is the quality of the

clothing and practical, there are few care about clothes’ style, fashionable.After

all, older people often consider the clothes’ value and practicality.(2)the types of clothing choice and gender differences

Now ,male consumers in the choice of clothing type, theypursues the

comfort of clothing, not only pay attention to the trend.women not only pursues

the comfort of clothing ,but also pay attention to the fashion and economic

benefits.With 51.6% of boys and 33% of girls are prefer sports casual, but

type and the pursuit of fashion clothing of male, female accounted for 12.9%

and 12.9% respectively.(3)Prices and promotions on the impact of the buyer

The price is another important influence factors of buying clothing.There aremost of the buyers can accept 100-200 yuan, because the quality of clothes is

usually between 100-200 is very good, the price is more easily accepted by

people.Clothes prices should meet with as many as possible between 100-200 yuan.The businessman also can attract customers in competitive price.For the clothing sales promotion way, more than half of consumers are more loyal to the discount , and buy one and get onefor free , there are only 12.8%.but with 10.5% of customers tend to gifts.4.summary of Market research report
