他不断诉说孩子的种种缺点：学习不认真，没有耐心，太粗心，做题很马虎，成绩总是上不去，不肯听父母的话„„总之，在他的眼里，孩子一无是处。正在成长过程中，孩子就像一杯没有倒满的水，我们不能总看到“一半是空的”，重要的是要看到已有一半的水，不能因为孩子一两次考试成绩上不去就全盘否定孩子。每一个人都希望得到掌声受到表扬，尤其是孩子。事实上，我们要对有缺点的孩子多一些宽容与赏识，多用发展的眼光看待他们，帮助孩子分析落后的原因，提出应对的策略，你一定会发现“那只杯子里的水越来越多”。当然，仅仅停留于看到孩子的“另一半”是不够的，那样做不但不能促使孩子进步，反而会滋生孩子的一些不良习惯。尽管表扬和鼓励是教育孩子的一种有效手段，但并不是在任何场合、任何时候都奏效的“灵丹妙药”，在看到孩子的“另一半”的基础上适时、适当的表扬和鼓励，才是促进孩子健康成长的“添加剂”。也只有真正看到孩子的另一半，才能从把孩子教育好的角度去真正地爱孩子，才具备同孩子的沟通的良好心理基础。
二、如何提高学生的学习成绩呢?
第一、抓作业.要规定孩子放学后必须做完作业,必须检查.口头作业、复习、预习作业也不容草率.学科基本每天都有书面作业，大多数同学还是能够认真对待这项作业，认认真真地听，认认真真的写，家长也认认真真的观察，给孩子签字。
第二、抓态度。要求学习专心、细心,勇于克服学习中的困难.书写要工整、清洁、准确,不能虎头蛇尾或龙习凤舞。
第三、抓技能.如想问题、做作业时,要求准确迅速,在质中求快;语言表达务求清楚、生动、手工操作、口头背诵务求熟练。

一方面.平时看到孩子晚回家，一定要问原因，有必要打电话与老师联系。千万不能留下管理上的空白 另外一方面.在星期六或星期天的休息时间，也要对孩子的活动有一个全面的了解掌握。现在有一个不好的现象，就是一到星期天，学生的作业质量就特别的差了。
第四．加强班级管理，有效运用正面表扬和反面批评。
在学习上，比如写字一笔一画，错字及时更正，字大小适中。上课坐端正。在学生生活中，我们要注重他们的自信心，培养他们大胆、认真、负责的精神。学生有了自信，就敢说话，就能抬头挺胸，就能自已对付很多事。

2、请督促孩子背书学习，英语需要循序渐进。
3、家长的善导是家庭教育的黄金，要多给孩子一点信心，做孩子成长的强有力的后盾。每天与孩子进行亲切交流，和他们谈谈今天学到了什么新知识，哪篇新课文，知道哪些道理，今后打算怎样做，交谈时，要有耐心，不能简单粗暴。
4、定期与教师进行沟通，对孩子的优点、不好的习惯以及在教育过程中出现的疑惑，可以经常与老师保持联系，共同寻找最好的教育方法。

首先向您简单介绍一下三上英语教材，本学期英语学习的内容有： 1、26个字母的大小写。对这26个字母要求是：听得懂，读得对，说得出，写得标准。字母学得好，这对学生今后所要接触的大量词汇的听、说、读、写很重要。

我们是这样培养孩子听的习惯：我们在课堂上都会播放纯正的英语录音，让学生静听，模仿，评选最佳配音员，以此鼓励孩子积极学习录音里的语音、语调。英语的每项听力作业，也运用英语软件制作出来的听力，不断的训练孩子的耳朵。英语家庭作业里，也会适时的布置听录音的任务，与英语课堂遥相呼应。
我们是这样培养孩子说的习惯：我们老师精心组织教学，寓教于乐，让学生身置语境，有意识或无意识地开口练说，最大限度地发挥学生说英语的主动性和积极性。同时教师发挥“情感教育”在英语教学中的作用。教师用“师爱”去赢得全体学生的亲近和信任，使师生感情双向交流，形成轻松、愉悦的课堂气氛，使学生克服怕开口说英语的紧张心理，开创敢讲英语、争讲英语、爱讲英语的局面。再者，我们老师从课内到课外尽可能地为学生创造语言实践机会。如:组织语言游戏、举办英语兴趣小组，排演英语文娱节目，强调师生间、同学间用英语问候，要求学生把所学英语用到日常生活中去，以此造成说英语的氛围，激励学生多开口说英语。
在上好课，培养孩子良好的英语习惯的同时，我们看到，有一小部分孩子会因为种种的原因，学习上有了困难。我们英语老师都会主动，热忱的走进孩子。安慰他们，耐心的帮他们补一补课。并且帮他们找出问题的症结在哪里？教导孩子解决的方法，更主要的是激励他们，并且给以持续的关心、关注。
家长们，英语是一门特殊的学科，要学好英语，课上是关键，但是光靠学校一周四节课的时间是远远不够的。还需要学生在课后不断的巩固，加深记忆。为了协助孩子更好地学好英语，我们要请家长配合老师完成以下工作：
第一，要培养孩子天天听录音的好习惯。孩子每天高效率听10－15分钟，不要因为种种原因而不听，语言课程如果离开了听录音，那是永远也学不好的。可能有的孩子会说“我已经会读会背了，不用听录音了。”那你千万别由着他，这是错误的想法和做法。因为通过模仿录音，孩子才能拥有准确的发音和纯正的语音语调，光凭自己的感觉来读来背，会导致很多发音不够标准或是很生硬，洋味不足。而且，如果现在不听，等到了中学，听力内容变多，听力速度变快的时候，孩子就根本适应不了。导致听力测试只能瞎做。丢失很多分数。
2、让孩子认识英语单词和句子。有学生和家长也向我们反映，孩子书读得很溜，背也背得很熟。就是不知怎么回事，考来考去考不高。其实，这种情况，究其原因，在于孩子在脱离了图片，脱离了书本的情况下，单独把句子单词拎出
来，她还不认识的结果。要解决这个问题，要求孩子在读课文时，必须要看着书指着句子读。看得多了，就会认识了。这样有利于提高他们对单词的认读能力。
3、及时发现孩子的进步并给予肯定。孩子的英语学习有一个循序渐进的过程，家长一定要关注他所付出的努力和每一点微小的进步，每次都要加以肯定，给他们以继续学习的动力，当自己的孩子说英语时，先不要在意孩子发音是否正确、句子是否规范，只要他敢于开口说英语，这就是进步和成功。我举个例子，比如说，今天英语课上学习了五个单词，孩子回到家，您可能就想检查孩子学会了没有，这时就会出现三种情况：（1）孩子五个词都会读，皆大欢喜。（2）孩子只会读二个词，这时您不要说，“你怎么还有三个词不会读，”而要说：“你看这两个都回读了，别的词你去听听录音也一定能会读的。”（3）孩子一个词都不会读，这并不说明孩子上课没学会，这时你可以对孩子说：“爸爸妈妈知道你上课认真听讲了，只是学过的东西要是不及时复习就忘记了，你现在听听录音，好好复习复习吧！”另外，语言学习需要一个过程，每个孩子在学习的时候接受速度的快慢也是不同的，您千万不要将自己的孩子与别人的孩子相提并论。
