1.Getting into art.What is art? Different people have different thoughts There are some keywords about art given by the internet
Art is a creative activity that expresses imaginative or technical skill.Art is a diverse range of human activities in creating visual, performing artifacts, and it’s a reflection of our heart.It’s a life base subject.Though we gave our definition to the art, what’s art’s value in our daily life
First of all, art can refresh us ,washing the dust of daily life off our souls.Imagine when u finally free from a day’s work, laying in the sofa , feeling such a tiredness, and at that time hearing your favorite music would be a great way to relax you.That’s how art helps to refresh you.The value of art is to raise people to a higher level of awareness than they would otherwise attain on their own.Try to memorize the last time you enjoyed the play hamlet, did you learn something from this story.If so then art do inspire you, making your awareness to a higher level.Art can represent the meaning of things.Every single art work around us can represent a complex meaning.Another value of art is to lay bare the hidden truth which means to remind us of history.Talking about history, lets learn more about how modern art develop.During the early 17th century European people had an good economic development.Then most people began to devote themselves into art, to gain a spiritual value.In 18th century baroque style became a typical style of art.The pic above can show you the style of baroque.Then in 19th century the romantism was the main stream.The midsummer night is the masterpiece of romantism.With years of development, art have reached a new heigh, but it is also facing some problems.Here is the trouble art is suffering from.2
Before I start, I want to show you a video first.As you can see, people often consider strangeness as art.What I said strangeness here is not real performance art, but some deliberately odd actions which are titled Art for fame and fortune.That’s one of dilemmas faced by art.So, there’s always a voice in society that says: oh, that’s so weird!That must be art!
Another dilemma is equating abstraction, high class with art.When we were young at school, we learned to admire masterpieces of art, such as The Thinker, Guernica.But of course, light-hearted little boy can’t relate to the beauty!Even growing up, mass without such high-level spiritual world still have difficulty in understanding.Gradually, when we come to art, we think of high class.Visiting the museum becomes a way to show one’s superiority complex.Art for fame and fortune.Art for a sense of superiority.These society symptoms arise from an imbalance between economy and cognitive development.Good art usually connects with aesthetic and philosophy value.But art has a strong subjective color.We shouldn’t take arts as abstraction for granted.Works centered around community life can also possess wisdom.Art for art’s sake.How can we do that? First of all, I think an excellent artist must abide by the professional values of art.To put it simply, it’s the attitude toward creation.I want to emphasize the devotion.As the saying goes, interest is the best teacher.The more you enjoy it, the more time you spend.So, devotion is very important.It’s like the foundation of a house.Of course, following your heart and keeping humble are also very important.Otherwise, artistic quality is one of necessary parts.I think artistic quality is mainly made up of three parts.They are power of observation, understanding and expression ability.Good artists should have these abilities.They can find everything.They can understand deep meaning.More importantly, they can express it in artistic form.Lastly, when artists are creating a work, they must master the basic professional knowledge and skills.It’s like when you want to learn English, you must remember the English words ahead of time.The work should also be able to reflect reality.Take Guernica for example.The painting reflects the cruelty of the war.It makes us think more.It makes us think the peace and love.A good work ought to make people think more.And a good artist should convey his thinking to get more people think.As for us, just common people,what can we do?

Some people hold the view that to appreciate an art work, one must “understand” it thoroughly, which also leads to many people who would like to enjoy it do not dare to do so, because they think themselves do not understand the history of art, aesthetic common sense and the authors life.But, why is it necessary to understand?
As ordinary people, looking at artworks is more about aesthetic process than academic research.Our subjective feeling is the most important.When you appreciate a piece of music, you can lose yourself in the beauty of its structure, melody and rhythm.When you appreciate a painting, you can be attracted by its beauty of composition, color and style, but you can also enjoy art simply because it makes you feel good and evokes some unforgettable memories.All you have to do is “Go back to the original” and “Follow your heart”.“There are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people’s eyes”
So, from now on, get rid of the shackles of traditional ideas, throw away the unnecessary psychological burden, get rid of affectation, and enjoy art boldly!

If you are also a beauty-lover, please recover the respect for the purity of art.As an art creator, you are supposed to obey the professional values, stick to artistic qualities, and create professional works.As an art appreciator, you shouldn’t consider art as a distant and unapproachable thing, but a closely friend who gives you a wonderful feeling.It may not be necessary for appreciators to understand what art is, but you need to go back to the original, feeling it heart and soul.You may ask why we stand here to give you the presentation?
