5月9日，是今年的母亲节，同学们对这个节日都不陌生，可是谁知道母亲节的来历呢？

1907年5月，美国有位安娜。贾伦斯女士在母亲的追悼会上献上一束康乃馨花。他认为所有的人都应该选定一天来怀念母亲，报答母亲的养育之恩。这个提议得到了人们的赞同。安娜的故乡费城在1908年5月10日举行了“母亲日”纪念活动。1909年5月9日，威尔逊总统正式宣布每年5月的第二个星期日为母亲节，康乃馨为象征母爱之花。

母亲是伟大的，给予我们最无私的爱，我们是妈妈的手抱大的，是妈妈用背背大的，是在妈妈的怀里撒娇、打滚儿蹭大的，是在妈妈那充满深情、充满爱的呵护下长大的。

我相信，同学们都和我一样爱自己的妈妈。爱妈妈就要做到：

一、学会报恩。“百善孝为先”，中华民族最讲“仁”“孝”。向妈妈说一声“谢谢”、帮妈妈干一件家务事，、送妈妈一张小卡片、小礼物等，都能代表我们的孝心。

二、学会负责。每一天，我们要记住妈妈的叮嘱，在学校把尊敬、勤奋学习当作自己的快乐，长知识，长身体，对自己的一言一行负责，让妈妈放心。

三、学会自尊。美国学者认为，妈妈是一个家庭的支柱。同学们要学习妈妈的优点和长处，树立自尊、自爱、自重的信念。

妈妈除了这周，天天都很晚回来。5月3日晚上开始，她一直每天晚上都发低烧。妈妈说过：她每天努力工作，她的梦想是带着我和姥姥环游世界，并且给我们带来有品质的生活。为了让妈妈实现她的梦想，我也一直很支持她。妈妈每天很辛苦，我要快点儿完成作业，等她回家，不让妈妈在学习上为我费心。

周五和周六的晚上，是我最幸福开心的两个晚上！妈妈会比平时下课早一些提前回来陪我。记得有一句话是：母爱是世界上最伟大的爱！

这周妈妈一直在生病，看着妈妈每天发烧输液，我心里很难过，祝我亲爱的妈妈早日康复！妈妈，我爱你！母亲节快乐！
