说实话从来没想过自己也有写机经的一天，以前觉得能记住题目的人简直……太厉害，一战考完出来整个人脑子都浆糊了，今天考完出来觉得以后是真的告别GRE了，于是觉得不管能想起来多少能说点是一点，也许还有别的Tips能帮到大家。

（——本来下午准备写结果出去吃了个饭刚回来……印象有些不深了真是不好意思orz……）

7.21时一战153+165+3.5，期末考结束之后才开始复习，35天含背单词从零开始的魔鬼突击那简直不是人过的日子大家不要学orz……而且这种做法会直接导致最后考前心态会非常焦虑，为了GRE考试着急上火什么的……不值当啊！第一个section的Verbal碰到了The Color of Purple那篇长阅读，整个人读完就是【呆滞】的状态……今天（因为ETS今天凌晨才回信给我上次的考试ID）刚去Diagnostic Service查了一下一战成绩的报告（因为最近才知道这个东西的存在），那第一个section真是一地的血…… 因为本人专业是五年制明年的秋天才会着手申请，所以想既然来得及就二战次试试。

回来之后看了论坛上一些其他人的感受，好几个说觉得V比较不顺或者是感觉比36套难，但是不知为何……真的是不知为何，今天整个考的过程总结下来就是……感觉非常之爽orz（喂），也许是跟二战的心态有关，整个人也不是很紧张，又碰到了好些（善良的）机经，做题速度（跟平时做题比）出乎意料地快了许多，所以阅读什么的都比较从容。

AW：

Issue：All parents should be required to volunteer time to their children's schools.Argument：commuters上班时间从20min增加到了40min，但是建新路会影响居民区，所以建议W 市应该学习G鼓励民众share rides

Verbal：

（共三个section，第一、第二个均含有长阅读，好几个逻辑题我觉得都被绕进去了……）

1、第一个长阅读讲了一个作者分析女性的个什么作用，用到了三种approaches，前三段分别阐述，最后一段是总结还是转折我实在不记得了，考题有问到前两段两个approaches的差异，第一个approach的disadvantage，还有一题在最后一段。

2、第二个长阅读是高频，甲醇乙醇之类的新燃料替代汽油，四道原题

3、（文学）中篇文我记得应该也是机经，第一段讲一位女作者发表了一部作品是collection of folktales，里面有作者对于其中一些背景和元素的解释，后来发现这部并不是original version，有一部她一直到去世都没有发表的版本是没有注解的folktales记述。第二段是讲另一个人对她这两种version的分析和评价（有设题）。

4、（科学）短文描述了关于（我觉得应该是……）单细胞中某种行为还是物质来着的作用，一个long-holding的观点同理到多细胞生物中也适用。然后后文转折对这种观点提出质疑，证据是近期发现中它其实牵涉到

了某些RNA相关物质。（我这前言不搭后语的大家理解一下……）

5、逻辑题①，某湖（lake）1920年之后变得更加salty，fish数量减少，但是gull的数量增加，求问如何解释这个discrepancy。选项A：1920年之前gull eggs是附近一个now abandoned residential area的人们的主要食物。

6、逻辑题②，消防员的衣服装备得到了改良，能够承受更高的温度，但是消防员在救人的时候并不会受到新或者旧的装备，求问assumption。选项A新衣服不会限制消防员的活动自由（或者说是灵敏度），选项E消防员受伤主要来自hot temperature。

7、有一道题问最后一句highlight sentence对于前一句话的作用是什么的，脑死死活想不起来内容了先搁着……

8、（双空）填空有道OG上的题改了一下，就是说media 政客：虽然政客们其实是 的，但是media创造了一种大家都差不多并且带着怎样怎样smiles的一种表面image，掩盖了differences。

9、（双空）政府最近对媒体怎么怎么不好了：就连以往对政府非常温顺(pliant to)的媒体，也开始变得尖锐而富有攻击性(pointed)（大意）。

有印象的单词：

caprice, dissimilar, obfuscate(的某个词性变化), prescience, circuitous, pliant, weaving, pensiveness, stoicism, deleterious, virulent（看了另一位写的填空机经表示……六选二我妥妥就是那些看反了意思选逆了的啊orz）

Math：

1、梯形给出四边长短，有一线段两端点在腰上移动，平行于上下底在梯形内移动，当被分割而出的上下两个梯形周长相等时，求下面那个小梯形的两个腰的长度和。（设个x,y带着字母列个式子就可求得）

2、X之后出现X概率为0.3，Y之后出现Y概率为0.4，现第五个为X，求问第七个也是X时的概率。（0.09+0.42）

3、一组数平均数为5.5，标准方差1.2，试比较离平均数1.5标准方差处的measurement与7.3的关系。（始终不会做这种题的跪下orz）

4、新生入学3/8为sophomore，1/50为生物专业，求问可能的总人数，多选。（愣了一下之后意识到，人数是不能……出现小数的不然就被劈好几半了，所以检验是否是公倍数即可）

暂时这样，随时补充。

下面是两次的复习过程……谈不上经验，因为是否可取大家还是要各自分析自己的情况，适当参考就好：

杜昶旭GRE句子填空讲义（有空就翻翻比较好，有人说看多了对写作长句子也有帮助反正我是没啥那方面收获，但是对于填空的重点还是有潜移默化的影响（我觉得……）+新GRE填空7套+绿皮+ GRE官方三空题解析+ 1,014 Practice Questions for the New GRE的填空部分 杨鹏长难句两遍，第一遍看中文翻译和部分解释，第二遍只看意群训练 36套没做过的部分+逻辑十套（两遍）

拯救我的新GRE Issue（基本裸考，复习了一下提纲）OG Math Review PP2第二套模拟题+第二版OG第二套模拟题+Kaplan Verbal 机经again

写在最后：

也许对于一些同学来说这个分数还远远不够，但是对于我自己及这个专业来说妥妥够用了，今天出分之后心情也因此很好www，虽然在选校送分的时候迷失在了茫茫校名和代码中……

对于二战曾经心理压力比较大，但是开学之后有很多同学跟我说其实上次的分数也不是不能忍……不出彩但是不会拖后腿，所以后来就看开了，放手去做能如何就如何。考试之前做36套和NO题正确率一直非常惨不忍睹，不论是一战还是二战前，一直到周四的时候做阅读还能是3/4的……错误率（我真是……）所以即使是二战前一直觉得紧张不起来，也多少心情低迷了一些。后来周五的时候刷了一下1014的所有填空，仅仅是作为找一下填空新题的手感。等到周五晚上想起来把新OG的模拟题拿出来做，突然发现不知为何……读OG上的阅读觉得比36套和NO上的都顺畅了很多很多，甚至我一度觉得OG上的第二套模拟题会不会偏简单？当然看懂和正确率是两码事，但不得不说，突然觉得文章能看懂而不是一头雾水的感觉其实是很能鼓励人的。

考场上的心理状态远比第一次要放松，所在的考场是允许带耳塞进入的，所以隔音就会很好，键盘声和鼠标声其实干扰比较大，能隔绝的话对于集中精力有相当大的帮助。作文因为没怎么准备所以也比较忐忑，写完了之后就一切安心了。毕竟作文是产出，阅读和填空实在不行……咱还可以蒙不是吗（别学）。加试是Verbal其实是早有预料，所以基本就是正常做题。第一个section结束我震惊了，因为时间真是非常之富裕，每篇文章在看选项的时候还都有时间和机会扫个两三遍，也因此基本没什么阅读障碍——做题顺序除了长阅读跳过完全按照题目顺序来，所以说阅读和填空其实是穿插着做（一战时是先填空后阅读），结果做到最后愣是有11分钟给我做长阅读（其实我当时满心都是【哪里不对我真的没有漏题吗】的内心活动……）

后面两个section基本感觉差不多，有疑问的大多是填空部分，题干看懂了选项看懂了仨排除了三个什么的真是一点办法也没有就蒙吧，mark一下回头再看，耽误时间其实并不值当。不过第二个section因为碰到了长阅读原题所以时间更加富裕。第三个section上来三个三空内心瞬间就复杂了，一个是因为三空毕竟麻烦，一个是因为至少说明在前面算是胜利了大半（考场上不该想这么多的也不要学我OTL）

也许是因为时间充裕，阅读基本都能看上好几遍，所以基本都能看懂没问题。阅读的状态跟周五时做OG时的感受和状态都很相似，正确率相似与否我就不估计了。第一次考的时候整个人绷得很紧，也确实像很多人说的那样觉得真题比36难了很多，但是这次考完不知为何我始终觉得OG和真题比36做着爽利很多，而且题点也能比较明确地定位到，是否能选对无从判断，但是至少不是之前那种一头雾水撞大运的状态。我不知道这种状态是二战引起的，或者仅仅是说阅读能力确实有了进步，如果确实是后者，不得不说长难句绝对是起了大作用……

（↑谁来给我解个惑吧量变引起质变什么的不靠谱啊，虽然……结果还是很令人欣慰的。）

关于填空，第一次考试的时候是看得懂选项看不懂题干，所以没用。这次题干倒是能看懂了，而且感觉跟1014的难度差不多，转折和逻辑如果能明确，找到答题方向还是能做到的。但是这次变成了有好些个选项看不懂……这，就看人品吧。不会的单词正好遇上了也就遇上了，至少在我看来，红宝+3000理论上够用了。

最后，对于机经，至少这次作为受益者我觉得还是有看的必要的，但是看的时候不用抱着撞大运的心理预期，遇到了就是占了便宜，遇不到也很正常。一战的时候遇到The Color of Purple有机经跟没有也没啥区别……填空机经用来看看单词的漏洞，阅读机经看看那些文章的套路，高频的题做做看，我觉得就足矣。

最后——但求作文不跪orz。

TOEFL机经简介

不少同学关心一个叫做机经的东西，TOEFL/IELTS/GMAT/GRE都有所谓的机经。如下是我的TOEFL机经分类简介：

1.经典加试机经

托福考试里面必然出现加试。加试有一部分考题是新题加试，还有一部分经常出现的加试题，被称为经典加试。经典加试考题在考试中不算分，但是并不意味着我们可以随便做。对于经典加试我们也是要认真对待的，不过已经有了关于经典加试的总结。经典加试总结里包含有阅读部分和听力部分的内容大致描述和题目的大概总结。考前几天应该把经典加试的内容看熟悉，如果恰好在考试里碰到经典加试，这样可以减轻考试的工作量和压力。具体经典加试内容可以在GOOGLE或者是百度娘里面搜索一下，很容易找到。需要注意的是，每个考场里的每个考生的加试内容都可能是不同的，但是正式考题部分是相同的。托福阅读经典加试：

In recent years the vast expansion of information and communications technology has made teleworking much more practical.Although in many cases office workers could be made geographically independent by using modems, faxes and cell phones, few companies or employees take full advantage of this possibility.There are a number of strong arguments in favor of allowing workers to work from home.Firstly costs for employers would be reduced because businesses would require less office space, which is often situated in the center of large cities.Secondly, worker's lives would be improved in a variety of ways.For example, they would not need to travel to get to work, which would give them more free time.Also, they could combine their work with their family life, which is a major advantage if they are parents of young children or they have old people to look after.On the other hand, traveling to a centralized workplace also has a number of points in its favor.The first is that many employees would miss the social aspect of work such as seeing colleagues and meeting customers.A further point is that employers would need to be able to trust their workers to work at a high standard and finish their work on time, since supervising teleworkers is even more complicated than supervising workers in the same office.Finally, working from home might inhibit teamwork and creative work and so perhaps so only really suitable for people doing routine office work.In conclusion, I believe that while many workers welcome the opportunity to go out to work, others would find the chance to work from home very convenient.Where possible, I think workers should be offered the choice, but not forced to work from home unless they wish to.
