When I read love letter that Jobs to his wife, it gave me a feeling like that, it was small, but expressed the most truehearted emotions.I thought only the people who had the same experience that could understand the meaning in this small paragraph.Nowadays, there were many different versions of translations of the letter in the internet, like a form of pre-tang poetry, classical style of writing or writings in the vernacular.Every version showed the talent of the author, and used the special ways to make people to realize the letter and the true love of the man and wife.Actually, the reason of the translation storm was many readers did not satisfied with the published translation, so net friends lead to translate in their way and hobby. To be honest, in these versions, I enjoy one or two of them. The one in a form of pre-tang poetry was my most like, although it was so small, and had used the Chinese ancients’ way to translate.I thought it expressed the emotions that the author wanted to convey, and it showed the Chinese culture’ depth. We ever saw many tang poetry was translated to English, but the meaning was changed a lot and had no sense of beauty. On the contrast, the English essay could be translated to kinds of editions without any discomfort.“We are guided by our intuition, you swept me off my feet.” As a example, if we use the common word to interpret the every word, the result is that we finish the task and consider the meanings of every word, but we ignore whether the sentences were suitable. So the works usually make us unsatisfied.Jobs’ love letter to his wife, just hundreds of words, different people can taste different interests. The form of pre-tang poetry, let me see their full of tender feelings, and the happiness of live together. It seems that their love never disappear, although the time fly and wrinkles on their faces and hearts.
Abandoned.Chosen.Special.Those concepts became part of who Jobs was and how he regarded himself. His closest friends think that the knowledge that he was given up at birth left some scars.“I think his desire for complete control of whatever he makes derives directly from his personality and the fact that he was abandoned at birth,” said one longtime colleague, Del Yocam.“He wants to control his environment, and he sees the product as an extension of himself.” Greg Calhoun, who become close to Jobs right after college, saw another effect.“Steve talked to me a lot about being abandoned and the pain that caused,” he said.“It made him independent. He followed the beat of a different drummer, and that came from being in a different world than he was born into.”(Chapter 1 Childhood: The Adoption)

Jobs had formed a club at Homestead High to put on music-and-light shows and also play pranks.(They once glued a gold-painted toilet seat onto a flower planter.)It was called the Buck Fry Club, a play on the name of the principal.Even though they had already graduated, Wozniak and his friend Allen Baum joined forces with Jobs, at the end of his junior year, to produce a farewell gesture for the departing seniors.Showing off the Homestead campus four decades later,Jobs paused at the scene of the escapade and pointed.“See that balcony? That's where we did the banner prank that sealed our friendship.” On a big bedsheet Baum had tie-dyed with the school's green and white colors, they painted a huge hand flipping the middle-finger salute. They devised a system of ropes andpulleys so that it could be dramatically lowered as the graduating class marched past the balcony, and they signed it “SWAB JOB,” the initials of Wozniak and Baum combined with part of Jobs's name. The prank became part of school lore—and got Jobs suspended one more time.【参考译文】

The partnership paved the way for what would be a bigger adventure together.““If it hadn't been for the Blue Boxes, there wouldn't have been an Apple,” Jobs later reflected.“I'm 100% sure of that.Woz and I learned how to work together, and we gained the confidence that we could solve technical problems and actually put something into production.” They had created a device with a little circuit board that could control billions of dollars' worth of infrastructure.“You cannot believe how much confidence that gave us.” Woz came to the same conclusion: “It was probably a bad idea selling them, but it gave us a taste of what we could do with my engineering skills and his vision.” The Blue Box adventure established a template for a partnership that would soon be born.Wozniak would be the gentle wizard coming up with a neat invention that he would have been
happy just to give away, and Jobs would figure out how to make it user-friendly, put it together in a package, market it, and make a few bucks.“(Chapter 2 Odd Couple: The Blue Box)

Atari‟s founder was a burly entrepreneur named Nolan Bushnell, who was a charismatic visionary with a nice touch of showmanship in him—in other words, another role model waiting to be emulated. After he became famous, he liked driving around in a Rolls, smoking dope, and holding staff meetings in a hot tub.As Jobs would learn to do, he was able to turn charm into a cunning force, to cajole and intimidate and distort reality with the power of his personality. His chief engineer was Al Alcorn, beefy and jovial and a bit more grounded, the house grown-up trying to implement the vision and curb the enthusiasms of Bushnell.Their big hit thus far was a video game called Pong, in which two players tried to volley a blip on a screen with two movable lines that acted as paddles.(If you‟re under thirty, ask your parents.)When Jobs arrived in the Atari lobby wearing sandals and demanding a job, Alcorn was the one who was summoned.“I was told, „We‟ve got a hippie kid in the lobby. He says he‟s not going to leave until we hire him.Should we call the cops or let him in?‟ I said bring him on in!” “In retrospect, it was weird to hire a dropout from Reed,” Alcorn recalled.“But I saw something in him.He was very intelligent, enthusiastic, excited about tech.”(Chapter 4 Atari and India: Atari)

Jobs recalled the incident vividly because it was his first realization that his father did not know everything. Then a more disconcerting discovery began to dawn on him: He was smarter than his parents. He had always admired his father's competence and savvy.”He was not an educated man, but I had always thought he was pretty damn smart...“ Yet the carbon microphone incident, Jobs said, began a jarring process of realizing that he was in fact more clever and quick than his parents.”It was a very big moment that's burned into my mind. When I realized that I was smarter than my parents, I felt tremendous shame for having thought that.I will never forget that moment." This discovery, he later told friends, along with the fact that he was adopted, made him feel apart—detached and separate—from both his family and the world.(Chapter 1 Childhood: Silicon Valley)

Then the ghastly truth dawned on me.
It slowly dawned on me that I still loved what I did.
burn into one's mind
A horrible image was burn in her mind.

1、我们每时每刻的工作都是在沉淀;现在的工作,我们或者看不到是所谓的好还是不好,我们所要做的就是负责,尽心尽力去做,因为每时每刻我们都是在沉淀;
1、他离开苹果,确实是一个新的开始;这里有个说法叫“每个人都要有否定自己过去的勇气”;
2、我们树立自信往往非常容易,最难的确实“勇于否定自己的过去”;过去的东西如果没有效果,就要勇于否定;无论是主动否定掉它还是被外界来进行否定,都是一种自然的结果,我们要做的就是接受;
1、感悟第三个故事:不要活在别人的生活里;

These English words derive from Greek.
For one thing, most projections of the impact derive from estimates of changes in average temperature.
2.extension:
I believe this is an extension of the death metaphor.
There is no application associated with the given file name extension.
3.the beat of a different drummer:
The Beat of a Different Drummer。
Most of us follow the beat of our own different drummer.
Oh, dear!What a deal I shall see and hear before I come back again.
I cannot congratulate you,’ I replied, ‘till I know whether this change is really for the better.’
I should think you will be willing enough to go?
(4)原文:‘I dare say I shall in some degree: it was not without sorrow I parted with her sister.’
I really loved her then;and forgave her from my heart all the injury she had done me—and others also.
I should see him, and by look, speech, and manner, I might judge whether the circumstance of her marriage had very much afflicted him.
Her marriage
