In order to know about girl students’ opinion about love and life, a survey with girl students was conducted in 2005 in two universities — Chongqing University of Technology and Business and East China Normal University.The survey sought answers to two questions: What do you look for first in a boyfriend? What’s the most important thing for a happy life? 【冬天玩火】
小时候，每到冬天，尽管母亲早早地就将我全副武装——为我穿上棉衣棉鞋，戴着棉帽手套，可是我的手脚还是会生冻疮，时常手脚臃肿，白天走路时一瘸一跛，晚上睡在被窝里暖和了就更是奇痒无比，却从不敢用指甲去挠！为了在学校里不受冻，大多数学生上学都要提盆火。我也不例外，硬缠着父亲用一个洋瓷盆在盆沿上均匀的钻上三个眼儿，然后用铁丝拴起来，这就成了一只“可提式”火盆了。每次将木炭火搭在火盆里，就可以提着火盆把儿去上学。
每天早上上学前，我就早早起床，找来头一晚上事先准备好的干柴火，点燃后就将木炭架在火焰上，待提到学校里，干柴燃成了火炭，那黑色的木炭也燃成了红色。那时候，大多数学生家境都非常贫苦，一个年级，能烤得起木炭火的学生寥寥无几。而我们这些提火盆的学生无疑是鹤立鸡群，似乎处处都显示出比其他同学更优越感来。
不过，我们家那时连油盐钱都艰难，更别说为我买木炭了，但一向生怕我受罪的父母亲，说什么也要为我买几袋子木炭来供我取暖。
孩提时代的我说是烤火，实则是玩火——每天天不亮去上学，边走边提着火盆把儿在空中朝一个方向转圈圈，刹那间，空中就形成了一个红色的火圈，每每至此，后面总会紧跟一群羡慕的学生。不待我停下来，就蜂拥过来烤火了。每到课间十分钟，提火盆的同学就像是比赛一样，一个个都纷纷将自己的火盆在教室后边的空位处旋起来，这时候，那些没有提火的同学就在一边相互鼓掌。生怕得罪了那个提火盆的同学，自己就烤不上火。随着大家吆喝的起劲，这些玩火的学生就更是旋的起劲，有的甚至还将火盆在空中变着花样左右交叉……这样一来，一大盆红炭火往往不待放学就会燃尽，那时候，有位同学还曾天真的为我建议：将石子儿放在火盆里一起旋圈儿，石子儿烧红了就省下了木炭，没曾想，有次正上早读，他就装满一大盆石子，去教室后边旋起圈儿来，这时候，正好老师来教室监督朗诵，一气之下，竟然将一大盆红火炭丢在了教室外，还罚我们俩站在教室外挨了一个上午的冻！
记得有一次，一个学生这样玩火出现意外，火炭跌落下来，还将脖子烧成了重伤，留下了残疾……此后大家冬天里提火时就再也没人敢玩火了，只是那时候大家经常饿肚子，就偷偷地从家里偷来玉米、土豆和黄豆之类的粮食埋在火盆里烧着吃，有时下课时埋在红火灰里没来得及扒出来上课铃就响了，当老师上课时正讲到起劲处，有的学生的火盆里猛不防地就会蹦出一颗包谷花来，打得热灰四散，顿时课堂上也像这烟灰一样混乱不堪！许多时候，课堂都会因为一个小小的火盆引发的恶作剧而引起不小的波澜……
现在的孩子们再也没人提火盆上学，也更没有了昔日里危险的玩火游戏，不过，每到隆冬时节，我都会情不自禁地想起这些往昔的玩火岁月，于我而言，这一生恐怕也不会忘怀了！
【邻里情深】
我自幼就喜欢捣鼓一些乱七八糟的小物件，比如家里的锁子坏了打不开，或者雨伞用久了撑不起来，经过我的一番捣鼓之后，就能灵活地使用了。天长日久，左邻右舍凡是谁家有个什么小困难，总喜欢来找我。凡是来者，不管它是否能捣鼓好，我都乐于帮助，不厌其烦。也因此，邻居们都管我叫“万能工”，说我什么都能弄。
每次给别人修好器具，他们都免不了一番客套，不是给我烧水沏茶便是给我做好吃好喝的。个别心里过意不去的，还要给我衣兜里塞烟塞钱。想想大家生活在一起，不是邻居便是好友，我哪能见钱眼开见利忘义？为邻居做做小事，不足以挂齿。
比如邻居独守老人李老太，有次家里来了客人，正在用电饭锅蒸饭，指示灯就不亮了。她来找我，我看了后，显然是里边的线路出了故障。我三两下用螺丝刀打开，原来是电饭锅里边的电线熔断了，我重新接好线头，很快就通电了，李老太的一锅米饭并没有因此受到什么影响。有一次，隔壁王大爷因电暖气不发热了找到我，我看后，原来是发热管坏掉了，我拆下来后，让王大爷按照发热管的大小买了一个回来，才花几块钱就搞定了。他一个劲地夸我厉害，说要是拿到维修店里，少说也得几十块。看到王大爷脸上开心的笑容，我也在心里乐开了花，要知道，老一辈人都是从艰苦日子中走过来的，不会多花一分冤枉钱。
能为邻里做些力所能及的小事是我一贯的作风，每每受到他们的表扬，我心里比吃了蜜还甜。有道是，方便别人就等于方便自己，我这个“万能工”可有深深的体会哦！有一次，我发烧好厉害，老伴和孩子们都不在家，我连做饭的力气都没有了，躺在床上一动不动，幸亏邻居李老太和王大爷给我端饭服药，才使得我渡过了难关。
