university experience.Plus, you interact more with other students.This includes not only your roommates, but everyone in your dormitory.The older students in the dormitory can be a big help for the new students.Keeping up with studies your first year is hard enough.You shouldn’t have to worry about finding your way around and figuring out the university bureaucracy.Living in the dormitory also makes a student feel more a part of the university community.There are more opportunities for becoming involved in university activities and networking with students and university administration.Living off-campus, however, is a definite advantage for older students.Finding an apartment, dealing with leases and the landlord’s regulations, cooking meals, and figuring out budgets are all good practice for life after graduation.This kind of independence helps older students grow in adulthood.Off-campus housing also gives students a better perspective on what’s going on around them.Campuses can be like little worlds of their own.There are few children or older people and everyone is focused on education.Getting to know neighbors who aren’t students is good for students coming from different places.It’s a chance to find out what other people think and feel.I think a combination of two years on-campus and two years off-campus is a winning combination for most students.Schools should ask students to evaluate their teachers.Do you agree or disagree?Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.Teachers have a very difficult job in society.They not only have to learn how to teach material effectively,but also must learn how to deal with a wide variety of personalities.While teaching is a difficult job,I think it is important for schools to ask students to evaluate their teachers.I think this is the right thing to do because it encourages teachers to try their best, it gives students the opportunity to choose effective teachers,and it allows the schools to have the best teachers possible teaching.If a teacher knows that at the end of the term, the students will be evaluating his/her work,then the teacher will be driven to do a very good job.If there is no pressure from evaluation,a teacher might be prone to doing a less than perfect job.I believe that everyone needs an occasional evaluation to ensure they are doing their job correctly.In the case of a teacher,the students will give the most important evaluations.If there was a public summary of which teacher scored the highest on his/her evaluations,then students would be able to take courses based on which teacher was the best at the job.This would allow students to excel in their studies,and achieve better grades.Finally,if schools ask students to evaluate their teachers,the schools themselves would be able to have the best teachers working on campus.If a teacher scored too low on an evaluation, a replacement could be found.This is a much better method than waiting for students to complain about a teacher.Teachers do have a difficult job,but regardless of this,they must excel at it.If a person is a particularly poor teacher,the students will not learn the required material,and suffer for it.For thousands of years, students acquire knowledge from teachers and teachers evaluate their students with degrees of examinations and tests.However, whether students should in return evaluate their teachers is highly controversial.Some may claim that a mutual supervising mechanism between students and teachers is better than the existed evaluation system, while others argue that students should not be granted for such right.In my opinion, I personally agree with the mutual supervising mechanism and support that students should be given the right to assess their teachers.The most prominent reason for the merging of the question “should students evaluate their teachers” is the growing number of unqualified teachers entering Universities and colleges.So in the orientation of improving education quality, schools could reverse this tendency by letting students to evaluate teachers and expel those seemingly qualified but in fact unqualified teachers.By implementing the mutual supervising mechanism, students could grade teacher by criterions such as the punctuality of classes, whether teachers can fully illustrate the core concepts of the subjects or just talking about cliches, do teachers have an open mind to students' understanding or extremely dogmatic.In general, teachers with passion and sharp understanding of the subject are often adored by students therefore will get good grade, but teachers who are lax about the course and less inspiring are not welcomed by students and therefore receive lower grades.Thus help the administration to decide which teachers are worth rewarding and who should be expelled.However, the biggest flaw existed in the mutual supervising mechanism cannot be ignored: some students are so young and immature that they may wrongly evaluate their teachers.In really situations, teachers' insistence on students' punctuality or precision on experiments and homework might enrage(使厌烦)students who are not used to get to classes on time or take experiments seriously.In this case, a responsible and conscientious teacher may receive low credit from students , which is totally unfair.But fortunately, these immature students are after all the minority of the whole picture, today, most college undergraduates are sensible and rational young people who know the merits of following strict rules set up by their teachers.In a nutshell, in oder to efficiently allocate educational resources, schools should allow students to evaluate their teachers.Not only could this improve the education quality provided to students, but also gather more resources like experiment facilities and fund to qualified teachers and help them to make advancement in their own fields.I think it’s a good idea for schools to ask students to evaluate their teachers.This informs teachers of how students react both to their teaching methods and to them as individuals.Teachers can weigh the criticisms and change what they think needs to be changed.Praise from students is also valuable.It can reinforce teachers’ opinions about how they’re teaching and give them confidence.It’s also helpful for school administrators to hear what students think about their teachers.It keeps administrators in touch with what’s going on in the school.It also gives them some idea of which teachers effectively reach the students.However, good administrators know that student evaluations need to be reviewed with a keen eye for prejudice and adolescent(青春期的)attitudes.After all, and evaluation is a good way for students to get back at teachers who expect more of them than they want to give.Evaluating teachers is also a good exercise for the students.They have to organize their thoughts about what they think of their teachers.In that way, they pinpoint for themselves what they expect of those teachers.They begin to understand what they value in a teacher and what students feel as if they have a voice in what happens in their schools.It makes them feel as if they’re part of the education process when their opinion is valued by the administration.Finally, it teaches them responsibility.

评价是指人们根据一定的标准和系统的信息对某一事物或对象的具体实事所进行价值判断过程。学生素质评价是学校素质教育的重要组成部分,他是以学生的发展状态与水平为评价对象的教育评价活动,是对学生素质的各个方面、各个过程进行多渠道认证的教育评价活动。班主任对学生评价具有导向、激励、调节、检查、甄别、筛选等功能。它有过程性评价和终结性评价,也有发展性评价和甄别性评价;有笔头评价、口头评价和体态评价等。由于时间不同、地点不同、对象不同,评价方法也各不相同,有时几种方法可以同时运用。但不论用哪种方法评价,目的都是为了促进学生的全面、健康和谐地成长。
以前对学生学习评价比较吝啬、不太重视,认为可有可无,其实不然。经过这次实习,使我进一步懂得了学习评价的目的和作用,评价的方法及步骤,评价的理念和策略。而且使我清醒地认识到,它不仅是一门科学,也是一门艺术,更是师生双赢的教育活动。老师的评价对学生的影响太大了,它能够沟通师生之间的情感,激励学生,帮助学生正确认识自我,树立不断进取的信心,对学生的成长产生极其深远的影响。学生的成长需要教师的呵护、关怀、接纳和尊重。也许我们不经意间的一点关怀、一个微笑、一句体贴的话语、一个抚爱的动作,都可能拨动学生的心弦,改变他们的生活和学习态度,甚至改变他的人生命运。但是如果评价不当,会使学生丧失自尊心和自信心,以为自己事事不如人,处处是错误,从而扼杀了学生的兴趣、爱好、特长及好思好问的天性,甚至会扼杀一个乃至一批人才。从此可以看出班主任对学生的正确评价是多么的重要。因此,老师对学生的评价要恰如其分,要有利于学生成长。
大文学家高尔基说过:如果仅仅是为了爱,连老母鸡都能做到这一点。关键是我们要会爱,也就是有爱的智慧。教师要学会爱,爱在细节,因为教育就是一堆细节。比如,对待生活在当今社会环境的学生,教师缺少的不是强力和果断,缺少的是教养和耐心,需要的是更多的等待和细心。学会评价,就是学会爱的技术。多一点“喝彩”,开发、肯定学生的积极因素是教育成功的窍门。学生总是希望老师能发现自己的优点,并得到鼓励。“好学生都是夸出来的”我特别推崇这一句话。确实,教师在课堂上充满激情地夸赞学生,的确能够激发学生的学习热情,使他们朝健康向上的方向发展。当老师的公平公正地对待每一位学生,多与学生交交心,多些赞扬。评价要少而精且恰如其分,使被表扬者心悦诚服。
对学生评价应该做到:微笑评价:欣赏每一位学生,微笑带入课堂。无痕评价:悦纳不同观点,学会倾听。激励评价:春风化雨,滋润心田。即时评价:注重情境,扑捉闪光,事半功倍。互动评价:激发兴趣,树立信心,全面参与。自我评价:引发反思,感悟体验。总结的非常好,这是我们课堂上常常用到评价。在课堂教学中,老师要用具有提升学生素质的赏识的语言去评价学生;用爱心去唤醒学生美的心灵;用诚心赢得学生的信任;用耐心期待学生的进步。评价要保护学生的自尊心和自信心,体现尊重与爱护,关注个体的处境与需要,评价应突出发展、变化过程,关注学生的主观能动性,激发积极主动的态度。
出学生的积极性,使学生看到自己的成绩、进步、优点,使学生树立良好学习信心,更好地促进学生的全面发展。评价过程中,教师的一种手势、一个对学生的学习评价,既要照顾到所有学生,又要照顾到学生的所有方面,既要考虑学生的现在,还要用发展的眼光考虑到学生的将来。通过评价充分发挥学生的主动性、积极性、创造性,使教学过程成为学生自主学习能力发展的过程,使学生在参与中知、情、意并行,自主学习的能力最大限度地得到释放,并在学习中体验创造性思维的快乐,从而激发学生的学习动机,唤起学生的求知欲,强化学生自主学习的意识,使学生在学习过程中始终保持自主积极的心态,提高学生参与的深度,使其在参与中学会知识、发展智能、完善人格,自主学习能力得到发展,提高学生创造性学习、创造性解决问题和适应未来的能力。促使学生逐步学会自我监控、自我调整、自我改造和自我完善,从而不断提高自己的主体意识和自我教育能力,养成独立自主、开拓创新的人格特征,进而让学生体验成功,逐步养成自我反思、对自己负责的习惯。
另外,课堂上教师对学生的评价要以激励为主,评出学生的热情,评眼神、一种默许、一种认可、一种赞同、一个微笑,等等。都足以给学生激励和赞许,并激发学生强烈的学习欲望,保持旺盛的学习精神,提高自我发展的信心。课堂评价是构成课堂教学活动的重要组成部分,理想的课堂评价有利于形成民主、和谐的师生关系,创设良好的课堂氛围;有利于激发学生的学习热情,点燃学生的智慧火花,进而引导学生自主探究、学会学习。学生需要评价,需要正确的评价,公正的评价,学习评价的真实目的是为了解放学习者,让学生快乐学习;缔造学习者,让学生学会学习;促进学习者,让学生全面发展 ;激发学习者,让学生体验成功 ;激励指导者,让教师感受幸福。不能仅仅为了“赏识教育”而“赏识教育”,而是通过横向、纵向多方位的比较和评价,促进学生发展,给予学生自信,赏识学生,挖掘学生的潜力和闪光点,能够让学生更准确的认识自己,从而在正确的道路上走的更好、更远。
总之老师要利用课堂环境,抓住课堂机会,用好课堂评价,将会使自己和学生都得到快乐,得到发展。教师对学生的学习评价,应让学生从评价中感受到教师的关爱,从评价中看到希望,产生学习的动力,加深师生间的感情
