英语演讲是英语语言的组织能力的综合运用。演讲与辩论社团指导学生如何进行英语演讲与辩论，每次课前进行“三分钟演讲”，给学生提供感兴趣的话题，使学生掌握演讲技巧，并积累大量词汇。同时，鼓励学生参加中学生英语演讲比赛，在比赛中得到锻炼和提高。making english speech is the employ of the art of speaking in english.the members will learn how to deliver an english speech and to debate in english under the instruction of the league.the students will be provided with interest-arousing topics in their three minutes’ presentations at the beginning of the class everyday so that their strategy of making a speech will be perfected and their vocabulary will snowball as well.4、辩论赛：english debate contest 通过教师的辩论指导，观看辩论比赛录像，培养成员的英语辩论水平和团体合作能力，同时组织一定的辩论赛使学生掌握英语辩论技能。with the instructions of teachers and the watch of the debate contest videos, the members’ debate know-how and group work spirit will be cultivated.5、户内外英语角：outdoor and indoor english corner 活动内容丰富多彩，如：组织社员观看英文电影，小组讨论，阅读英文版经典名著，设计英语猜词，接龙等小游戏，还可邀请外教参与口语交流等，目的是让社员们在活动中愉快地学英语，自信地讲英语。in order to let students get a good sense of english and speak it confidently.a variety of rich and colorful activities will be going on out there, such as, watching english films, group discussion, reading classical works of english version, tricks of english word puzzle design and building up sequence, oral english practice with the participation of the native trainer and so on.三、社员须知 essential tips for a good team player

活动内容简介
一、成立“英语角”
1、活动内容：“英语角”的成立主要以锻炼英文口头表达能力，为同学们提供良好的英语沟通环境为目的，通过同学们的交流互动提高口语能力，由辅导老师对语法知识、阅读能力、解题技巧作专门讲解。集学习性、交流性于一体，与学院的外语协会组织的英语角有所区别。这个英语角的学习性质比例较重，为成员营造了浓厚的全英文交流气氛，促进同学们英语水平的提升。

1、比赛目的：为了进一步加强英语的学习和交流，提高同学们学习英语的积极性，给广大英语爱好者提供一个展现自我，提升自我的机会和舞台，“英语沙龙”决定举办一次英语演讲比赛。

四、其它活动
1、英语学习交流会
进入大学后，大家学习英语靠的不再是老师的督促和管教，而是自己的自学能力和一套自创的学习方法，但很多同学学习英语的求知感淡化，自学方法不够强，针对这一问题我们“英语沙龙”决定适时开展英语学习交流会。在交流会中由各个同学谈谈自己学习英语的方法，包括成功经验、失败教训以及现阶段自己学习英语面临的困难。希望在交流中吸取他人学习英语的成功之处，不断的完善自己的学习方法。
2、举办各类英语游戏
开展多种英语游戏，寓教于乐，可以激发大家学习英语的兴趣，也可以让自己的英语水平在娱乐中得到提高。例如，我们可以开展以下的此类英语游戏：
（1）瞬时记忆大比拼（游戏）
游戏规则：推荐1人参加此活动，一轮游戏可分四组同时进行。参与者站定后背着观众，此时四个工作人员各举一张卡片上场。卡片上写有一个句子，工作人员背向观众站定。由主持人下令让参与者同时向后转，此时开始计时，限时5秒钟。在这5秒钟内参与者可以看卡片上的句子并迅速的记下来。5秒钟后，工作人员将卡片给观众快速看几遍，然后将卡片扣在地面上。参与者有1分钟的时间将迅速记下来的句子写在参与者面前摆放着的黑板上。时间一到，工作人员将卡片举起面向观众，由评委审查参与者写的句子与题目是否一致。全对者可得满分，满分为100分。若参与者写的句子中有单词错误，错一个单词扣10分。
（2）单词接龙（游戏）
活动安排：一轮游戏可由4个小组同时进行。由各班组织推选5个人组成一组参加此游戏。场上放着各写有一个单词的4块黑板。计时开始后，各同学轮流（依次）上去写单词，同学们所写的单词要以黑板上所给单词的最后一个字母为首字母。按此方法依次接下去，限时3分钟，时间到最后接单词最多的小组为优胜组。每接对一个单词加10分，所接单词不得重复，重复的单词不计分。
3、出版英语刊物
此刊物刊登内容主要是学生的优秀英文作品、名家作品赏析以及教师对英语作文的修改原文等。通过这种形式鼓励大家提高英语写作兴趣和写作水平。争取刊物发行每个月至少一次。
4、欣赏欧美原声电影 1 知识传授型活动
专题讲座和开设选修课是该类型活动的主要形式。如举办讲座，我们邀请嘉宾围绕异国的社会文化背景知识和东西方文化的差异等主题进行介绍，随后现场解答学生常感困惑的问题。教师还通过开设《跨文化交际》、《英美概况》、《英美文学赏析》等选修课的形式传授较系统的上述方面知识，帮助学生克服因缺乏文化背景知识而造成的英语学习障碍。2 课堂延伸型活动
学生利用课外时间浏览与教材相配套的教学光盘或教师在网络上发布的课件等，及时复习课堂教学中的重点，弥补其在某些语言点和知识点上的缺漏。学生还可以通过访问专题网页，阅读书籍报刊、查看影音资料库等途径去扩充和深入了解教材里每个单元所设立的主题。教师可以把要学生完成的单元测试题等材料放到教师的个人主页上，师生通过电子邮件或论坛等形式就测试结果进行双向交流和反馈。3 基本技能培养型活动
在学院的支持下，我室把数字化语言实验室和与之相配套的网络软件等开放给学生开展自主学习。学生通过这一学习的平台所提供的课文跟读、听力练习，人机对话训练、在线阅读、写作和测试等功能和资源来提高他们在听、说、读、写、译等语言基本技能中所欠缺的方面。4 影视欣赏型活动
我们通过定期举办外语影视欣赏活动，让学生接触真实地道的语言和感受影视片所反映的特定文化。另外, 我们还就所播放的影视片开展观感交流、话题讨论，影视配音，角色扮演等系列活动，以增加学生语言输入和输出的机会，提高其语言的表达技能。5 听说与交际能力培养型活动
英语角是广受学生欢迎又愈久祢新的英语第二课堂活动。英语角由有关社团负责管理，由中外籍教师和听说能力强的学生提供协助并发挥他们的示范作用。除了自主组合、自由交谈方式外，英语角经常采取话题讨论法，如预设一些学生感兴趣的话题或选择国内外近期发生的热点事件以供讨论，来激发学生交流的欲望。此外，我们还在活动进行中穿插猜谜、笑话连篇、连句成故事等游戏活跃气氛，以降低学生在用英语交际过程中易产生的焦虑紧张等消极情感。
语言能力展示型活动
教师定期组织学生就某些思辨性强的话题进行辩论或演讲，又或者组织学生自编、自导、自演英文短剧。这些活动不仅需要参赛者或演出人员具备较强的语言综合运用能力，而且锻炼他们的逻辑思维、应变能力和包含表情、手势在内的非言语交际能力等。这一类型的活动还包括英文歌曲、英语写作、翻译等比赛。7 网络辅助型活动

站在台上面对大家，我心情十分激动。好像是在参加一次历史性的长征。我们今天面对的远不只一场竞赛或角逐。这是才华出众，生气勃勃的中国青年的一次聚会。我们是青年一代的代表。为迎接新世纪的到来，我们正在从各方面作好准备。
在这一历史时刻，能有机会代表同龄人在此认真地回顾于国于己都至关重要的过去的15年，我感激万分。
尽管只能谈谈个人经历，而且只涉及其中一个小小的片段，但我相信，它仍然折射出对我和在过去15年间一同成长起来的青年人都不可缺少的一种思想基础。
我上小学时，班上有位小姑娘，学习非常刻苦而成绩却不尽人意。
老师要我帮助她。看得出，她也寄厚望于我。但我那时还是个小男孩，坐不住，不懂事。我老是me避她。以便有更多时间自己玩。
期末考试前一天，她来求我说“请你给我讲解一下行吗?这次我很想考得好一点。”我开始给她讲解，不一会儿便草草收场，假装没有察觉她迷茫的眼神，一溜烟儿地跑开了。不出所料，这次她又考砸了。两个月后，新学期依始，传来她死于血癌的消息。我没有完成那项小小的任务，无人知晓。但我却不能原谅自己。她的眼睛令我难以忘怀，仿佛在责问我，“你为什么不愿多帮助我呢?这对于你来说，并不费事。你为什么不能理解我对你的信赖，而让我带着痛苦和遗憾离开这个世界?”
我当时才八九岁。但从某种意义上讲，这件事成了我生活的新起点。因为我开始体会到“责任”二字的意义，并尽心尽力地学着完成自己的义务。我也逐渐领会了这个神圣字眼的深刻内含:人与人之间的彼此需要和信任、合作和依赖正是人类社会存在的基础。
之后，我在生活中又经受过多次失败，但那小姑娘之死所引起的懊悔，心里却不曾再现。想到自己做每一件事都能尽职尽责，一种满足之感便油然而生。
此事及类似的多起事件改变了我，完善了我。当我长大成人，我开始领悟周围发生的一切变化。我发现，从某种意义上说，社会跟我一样，正处在一个自我完善的时期。新建筑、新商品、新款式一天一个样。新思维、新信息、新技术层出不穷。即便万里相隔，人们在转瞬之间即可相互交谈。社会竞争越演越烈。
人们越来越强调个性和创造性。越来越多的人因工作努力而受到奖赏。这就是当今的时代，一代新人由成长迈入成熟的时代。这是我们这一代人接替父辈治国安邦的时代。然而，我们也面临很多间题。
据悉，坏人在光天化日之下作恶，周围的群众居然袖手旁观，无动于衷。我还听说，目前我国尚有100万儿童连小学也上不起，而巨额资金却拿去举办奢侈的宴会和购置豪华的轿车。
我们常常买的是劣质药品，或名曰药品实为一文不值的废物，非但不能除病去痛，反而会使
病情加重。在某些人看来，世上金钱最宝贵，只要能赚钱，不惜牺牲道德和责任。
因而，这个时代赋予我们的是更强烈的竞争和效率意识，使我们更善于批判性地思考和创造性地行动。
此外，这个时代要求我们这一代人必须认清自己肩负的历史重任，下定决心，采取行动，解决上述问题。长期以来，历史一直在我们这一代人身上培养着这些品质。现在，历史呼唤我们挺身而出，以实际行动向全民族及全人类证实我们的拳拳爱国之心和大无畏的英雄主义。
此刻，我站在讲台上回顾15年来的学生生活。今后的岁月，我很可能平平淡淡地度过。但这丝毫不会让我心灰意冷。因为我知道，凭借强烈的责任感和精益求精的不懈奋斗，我将追求一种有意义的生活，一种不枉此生的生活。
此刻，我站在讲台上回顾过去，15年来祖国取得的巨大成就激励着千千万万的同龄人。我们之中大多数人将与名利和权力无缘。只有极少数人或许会后世留芳。对此我们丝毫也不会在意。因为我们知道，世界在观望，世界在倾听。在这个大量机遇和激烈竟争并存的时代，我们国家究竟去向何方，整个世界都在关注。
我永远不会忘记班上那位小姑娘。她本应该却没能和在座各位一样享受今天美好的人生和明日充满希望的世界。
接受新世纪的挑战，把我们的血汗、智慧和热情奉献给建设祖国、造福人民的伟大历史事业。这就是我们这一代人的神圣职责。

1.大学教育的意义
大学教育最独特的功能在于，通过教育和辅导，开启年轻人的思维能力，是他们能够广纳新知，思维活跃，同时能够利用自己的才智和心思为自己的人生目标服务。同时，年轻人从大学教育中获得一种知识创造的力量，这种力量包括思考问题的能力与坚定的意志力。可以说大学教育是一个转变的开始。
2.社团的定义种类作用（1）定义
教育部学生司关于学生社团的解读是：“高校学生社团是学生自愿组成，为实现会员的共同愿望，按照其章程开展活动的非盈利性群众组织。”
中国中等学校和高等学校学生在自愿基础上自发组织而成、按照章程自主开展活动的学生群众组织。这些社团可打破年级、系科以及学校的界限。团结兴趣爱好相近的同学，发挥他们在某方面的特长，开展有益于学生身心健康的活动。
（2）种类
学生社团形式多种多样，如学术问题、社会问题的讨论研究会，文学艺术、体育、音乐、美术等方面组成的活动小组，有文艺社、棋艺社、摄影社、美工社、歌咏队、话剧团、篮球队、足球队、数学社、物理社、化学社等等。
（3）作用

在大学的校园中，有占在校学生数一半以上的学生参加了大学生自己的团队组织：大学生社团。
大学生社团是我国校园文化建设的重要载体，是我国高校第二课堂的引领者。各社团以其具有思想性、艺术性、知识性、趣味性、多样性的社团生活吸引广大学生积极参与其中。
为不断创新思路，不断完善机制，使学生社团逐渐向规范化、系统化、社会化方向发展，营造良好的学生社团文化氛围，促进广大学生综合素质不断提高,奠定扎实的基础，使产学研相互融合，有必要举办相应的校际社团交流活动，在竞争中成长，在对比中自我超越。

4.理工类高校中理论性社团的存在意义
理工类高校因其独特的学科配置，男生比例明显居多，在高校思想政治教育方面工作较为困难，高校理论性社团就在某一程度上改善了这一状况。随着我国社会主义市场经济的发展，利己主义等价值观念动摇、弱化着大学生的核心价值观，高校的思想政治教育工作面临着严峻的考验，而高校理论性社团作为思想政治教育的一条新途径，在大学生价值观培育过程中有着深刻的影响与作用。
第一，理论性社团可以坚定大学生正确的价值观念与价值取向理论性社团引导大学生坚持用科学理论武装自己，以辩证唯物主义与历史唯物主义的世界观与方法论为自己的逻辑起点，正确地对待个人与他人，个人与集体，个人与社会的价值关系，不会因为个人主义等狭隘的价值观的冲击，而陷入怀疑与否定的境地
第二，理论性社团可以提高大学生明辨是非的能力与时俱进是理论性社团的鲜明特色，社团关注的内容多是反映社会现象的焦点问题，与大学生生活息息相关一正因为其生活性是思想政治课堂所不具有的，因此理论性社团更能够引发大学生对现实问题的冷静思考。
第三，理论性社团可以增强大学生践行核心价值观的能力理论性社团注重理论与实践相结合，丰富的活动形式为大学生提供了实践机会一在社会实践中检验个人价值观的正确性，走出课堂，进入社会，将抽象的理论外化为具体的实践行动。理论性社团利用实践活动的优势，让大学生意识到正确价值观的形成是一个克服外部不利环境，战胜自我的漫长的过程。
5.理论性社团的作用意义
高校理论性社团主要是指由学生基于共同的信念自发建立而成的有较强理论性、思想性、政治性的学生组织社团秉持的理念，构建的社团文化与其他性质社团存在的根本差异决定了理论性社团在培育大学生价值观方面的独特作用理论性社团培育大学生价值观的特点主要体现在以下几点。
第一，指导思想具有科学性。高校理论性社团以马克思列宁主义、毛泽东思想、中国特色社会主义理论体系作为指导思想，深入贯彻总书记系列重要讲话精神，自觉践行社会主义核心价值观。马克思主义理想信念是经过实践检验的真理，通过历史唯物主义与辩证唯物主义的世界观与方法论对大学生实践活动和认识括动进行规范与引导，塑造大学生改造主客观世界的行为方式，帮助大学生把握科学的价值观，选择正确的人生道路。
第二，探讨内容具有时代性。理论性社团的主体是一批关注社会时政焦点，具有强烈的追求真知欲望的大学生，他们关往于国家民族的命运，展望国际风云变化这样具有时代性的内容是对课堂的一种延伸与生动解读，它将大学生与社会有机地联系起来，引导大学生面对社会中多元价值观做出正确抉择
第三，活动形式具有多样性.理论性社团文化都是通过多样的活
动呈现出来的，体现出寓教于乐的特点在活动过程中，原来的受教育者角色转换为了教育主体，实现了自我教育。多样活动形式让大学生内化于心的价值观得到生动地诊释，改变了传统课堂的教学模式，创新思想政治教育方法。
6.马会在我校的发展现状
马克思主义研究会旨在让大学生时刻与党中央保持高度一致，在事关大局和人民根本利益的大是大非问题上，头脑清醒，立场坚定，旗帜鲜明，始终以国家富强和人民幸福为己任，把个人的前途和命运与国家、民族的前途和命运紧紧地联系在一起，恪守为人道德，坚守做人操守，努力成为令人信赖的可亲可交之人。致力于打造遵循马克思主义，紧跟当前政治思潮，朝着我国政治发展道路而不懈努力为宗旨的学术型的学生社团。
