站在台上面对大家，我心情十分激动。好像是在参加一次历史性的长征。我们今天面对的远不只一场竞赛或角逐。这是才华出众，生气勃勃的中国青年的一次聚会。我们是青年一代的代表。为迎接新世纪的到来，我们正在从各方面作好准备。
在这一历史时刻，能有机会代表同龄人在此认真地回顾于国于己都至关重要的过去的15年，我感激万分。
尽管只能谈谈个人经历，而且只涉及其中一个小小的片段，但我相信，它仍然折射出对我和在过去15年间一同成长起来的青年人都不可缺少的一种思想基础。
我上小学时，班上有位小姑娘，学习非常刻苦而成绩却不尽人意。
老师要我帮助她。看得出，她也寄厚望于我。但我那时还是个小男孩，坐不住，不懂事。我老是me避她。以便有更多时间自己玩。
期末考试前一天，她来求我说“请你给我讲解一下行吗?这次我很想考得好一点。”我开始给她讲解，不一会儿便草草收场，假装没有察觉她迷茫的眼神，一溜烟儿地跑开了。不出所料，这次她又考砸了。两个月后，新学期依始，传来她死于血癌的消息。我没有完成那项小小的任务，无人知晓。但我却不能原谅自己。她的眼睛令我难以忘怀，仿佛在责问我，“你为什么不愿多帮助我呢?这对于你来说，并不费事。你为什么不能理解我对你的信赖，而让我带着痛苦和遗憾离开这个世界?”
我当时才八九岁。但从某种意义上讲，这件事成了我生活的新起点。因为我开始体会到“责任”二字的意义，并尽心尽力地学着完成自己的义务。我也逐渐领会了这个神圣字眼的深刻内含:人与人之间的彼此需要和信任、合作和依赖正是人类社会存在的基础。
之后，我在生活中又经受过多次失败，但那小姑娘之死所引起的懊悔，心里却不曾再现。想到自己做每一件事都能尽职尽责，一种满足之感便油然而生。
此事及类似的多起事件改变了我，完善了我。当我长大成人，我开始领悟周围发生的一切变化。我发现，从某种意义上说，社会跟我一样，正处在一个自我完善的时期。新建筑、新商品、新款式一天一个样。新思维、新信息、新技术层出不穷。即便万里相隔，人们在转瞬之间即可相互交谈。社会竞争越演越烈。
人们越来越强调个性和创造性。越来越多的人因工作努力而受到奖赏。这就是当今的时代，一代新人由成长迈入成熟的时代。这是我们这一代人接替父辈治国安邦的时代。然而，我们也面临很多间题。
据悉，坏人在光天化日之下作恶，周围的群众居然袖手旁观，无动于衷。我还听说，目前我国尚有100万儿童连小学也上不起，而巨额资金却拿去举办奢侈的宴会和购置豪华的轿车。我们常常买的是劣质药品，或名曰药品实为一文不值的废物，非但不能除病去痛，反而会使病情加重。在某些人看来，世上金钱最宝贵，只要能赚钱，不惜牺牲道德和责任。
因而，这个时代赋予我们的是更强烈的竞争和效率意识，使我们更善于批判性地思考和创造性地行动。
此外，这个时代要求我们这一代人必须认清自己肩负的历史重任，下定决心，采取行动，解决上述问题。长期以来，历史一直在我们这一代人身上培养着这些品质。现在，历史呼唤我们挺身而出，以实际行动向全民族及全人类证实我们的拳拳爱国之心和大无畏的英雄主义。
此刻，我站在讲台上回顾15年来的学生生活。今后的岁月，我很可能平平淡淡地度过。但这丝毫不会让我心灰意冷。因为我知道，凭借强烈的责任感和精益求精的不懈奋斗，我将追求一种有意义的生活，一种不枉此生的生活。
此刻，我站在讲台上回顾过去，15年来祖国取得的巨大成就激励着千千万万的同龄人。我们之中大多数人将与名利和权力无缘。只有极少数人或许会后世留芳。对此我们丝毫也不会在意。因为我们知道，世界在观望，世界在倾听。在这个大量机遇和激烈竟争并存的时代，我们国家究竟去向何方，整个世界都在关注。
我永远不会忘记班上那位小姑娘。她本应该却没能和在座各位一样享受今天美好的人生和明日充满希望的世界。

关于举行2011年校大学英语演讲比赛的通知
为了营造我校良好的英语学习气氛，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，提高学生的英语综合应用能力，决定举办焦作师范高等专科学校大学英语演讲比赛。现将竞赛相关事宜通知如下：
一．参赛对象：2010,2011级非英语专业的学生
二.报名方式：
由各系学生会负责在各教学班级中进行，时间截止至11月14号。
三．比赛方式：
1．演讲比赛分为初赛、决赛二个阶段。
初赛：不命题演讲（3分钟±15秒钟）
决赛：不命题演讲（3分钟±15秒钟）
演讲题目由学生自选，要求演讲内容健康向上，能够体现当代大学生的良好的精神风貌。2．初赛由各系学生会负责组织，每个系由一位大学英语教研室教师负责评选工作，选拔出的同学将参加复赛。
（各系进入复赛的人数：
文学院 3人，管理学院 1人，政治与社会发展学院2人,物理与电子工程学院 2人，生物与化学工程2人,体育学院 1人，美术学院1人,音乐学院 1人，数学学院 3人，计算机工程学院 2人，教育科学学院 2人，学前教育学院2人）。
四．时间安排：
1．初赛：11月14日——11月21日 2．决赛：12月5日
五 奖励办法
从参赛选手中评出一等奖2人、二等奖4人、三等奖6人、优秀奖10人，获奖的同学按照规定进行表彰和奖励并现场颁奖。

本次大赛由两部分组成：选手竞赛和颁奖典礼
本次大赛采用当场亮分制，比赛结束后，请参赛选手不要退场，随后将进行颁奖典礼。
三、竞赛形式：
1、不定题演讲方式：每位选手演讲为不定题目演讲（脱稿）。
2、演讲时间为三分钟，选手根据准备好的题目内容演讲。
四、竞赛题目：
题目自定，要求演讲内容积极向上，能够反映出当代大学生的精神风貌。
五、竞赛规则：
1、抽签
参赛选手于12月5日（周一）下午14:00到比赛场地（网艺楼报告厅）抽签决定其参赛次序，未准时到场者由工作人员代为抽取，参赛者不得有异议。并将演讲题目和个人信息进行登记。
2、演讲时间 1）、指定题目演讲时间为三分钟，2分45秒—3分15秒不扣分，超出或不足时间酌情扣0.1～0.5分。2）、指定时间到有计时人员响铃提示：2分45秒响铃一次，3分钟响铃两次。
3、出场顺序
参赛选手听从工作人员安排，按抽签顺序参加比赛。1）、主持人开场 2）、致词 3）、主持人说明比赛规则、评分标准及介绍评委 4）、比赛开始 第一个选手开始演讲，第二个参赛选手准备。以此类推。5）、比赛结束，工作人员统计比赛成绩 6）、领导总结 7）、宣布比赛成绩 8）、颁奖典礼，大赛结束

评委会由外语系大学英语教研室全体教师组成。

⑴ 去掉各单项环节的一个最高分，一个最低分，得出各环节平均分，即为选手总得分。
⑵ 计分组有三名工作人员，负责成绩计算、核对、亮分及名次排定。
5、评分标准 1）、决赛评分标准：选手评分采取十分制，评委打分保留到小数点后一位。内容 4分 语言 3分 技巧 3分
总分 10分 2）、内容要求
⑴ 主题鲜明切题，内容清楚、结构清晰、中心突出，合理展开、阐释充分、证据相关、逻辑性强，内容生动，吸引人，不枯燥，能抓住观众注意力）。⑵ 演讲人应使用英式英语或美式英语。语言准确（发音清晰准确，音调、音高要合适，选词用词的准确性和相关性），演讲流利（连读，词重音，句重音，语调，节奏）。
⑶ 技巧：幽默感，手势、眼睛接触与身体语言，自信、有感情与气势；适当修辞手段（比喻，类比等）。3）、其他
上台不得携带讲稿、字典、工具书或其他有关电子辅助器材。
参加比赛的教学系由学生会主席负责，每个系安排15—20名学生到场为比赛选手加油。

纪念一二九活动策划书
策划依据：七十五年前的今天，一群血气方刚，热血沸腾的青年喊出了“停止内战，一致对外”的呼声，那金戈铁马的呼声震荡了整个山河，他们的激情在空中回荡。而如今，我们似乎充满着太多的迷茫与彷徨，不知自己的未来何去何从。80，90后的写手描写的青春都是灰暗与脆弱的。我们的阳光灿烂的日子去哪了呢？让我们呼唤他们的回来。
活动宗旨：了解那度过去的历史，重温他们的澎湃，不需要我们做出惊天动地的大事，只需珍惜每天的时光，充实认真的活着，阳光灿烂的活着，做好每一件身边的事。
活动目的：宣传我院在学校的知名度，同时点燃同学们的生活激情，加强我院文化建设。
活动宣传：12月3日在在大桥上悬挂一横幅进行宣传，12月9日转至节目现场。
活动内容:前奏播放张真的《新正气歌》
《1》一二九运动知识问答，准备这一方面的知识小纸条，由观众抽取，答对者送一份精美小礼品。
《2》准备一系列的朗诵诗歌，现场抽取观众朗诵，再从小纸杯里抽出要朗诵的诗歌，现场朗诵，观众呼声高的给与一份精美小礼品。
《3》鼓励观众上前，分别唱含有“一.二.九”的歌曲，每首至少唱三句，顺利唱出者，给与一份精美小礼品。
《4》默记下面一段文字（两分钟之内），能迅速记起者，给一个大大的笑脸和拥抱（待定）。

Good morning , boys and girls.I am Youshuai and glad to give you a speech about stress.Psychologist tell us that stress is a state of worry caused by the problem of living , such as too much work or study , heavy responsibilities.Statistics show that stress comes from every detail in our life.Financial problems , poor health , being laid off may be the stress that most adults now are suffering.As students in the university , we are also under our special stress.While study , having to take various tests and submit a project against a deadline may put a great pressure on us.And the things that make us felt stressed may be our parents’s greater expectations on us than we could reach.Later , when we are likely to graduate , some other problems will also annoy us.I think we will worry a lot about our ability to compete in the job market and how we can best use what we’ve learned at college in our future job.The chief problem we should face to is our attitude towards stress.People usually say they can not live in the sun except they escape from stress.It’s unwelcome!Yes , however , very necessary.Just image a world where stress does not exist and people lead their life in a very comfortable way.But is this kind of living condition as perfect as we hope ? Without stress , they may feel very satisfied with the current life but lack of power to discover new things.Too much satisfaction result in nothing except a countermarch of the society.No stress , no development.So a certain amount of stress is good.It can stimulate us and increase our level of alertness.And our answer to stress is another vital problem.How to do with ourselves when stress suddenly break into our life ?
