第一篇:英语演讲 宠物与人生
Pets in Life Good evening, it's my honor to speak here, and I am very glad to share my topic with you. Then today I'd like to talk something about pets in our life.Pets play an increasingly more important role in our life from ancient times to now in wide fields. With urbanisation, communication and interaction between people is becoming less and less. However, pets can help us to lift the lonely life, regulating people's mental health. Many people are used to keeping pets now.Nonetheless some of them treat pets as a kind of functional item.In reality, pets are not only pets, but also a life. Many lonely old men regard their pets as their friends or children and give the best to take care of pets.Old people can also speak to pets and think that pets understand them. It's beneficial to the physical and mental health of old people by mutual communicating. In some emergencies, trained pets can help old people, even saving their life.Pets are wise. They would be good to you if you attend them better.I used to have a dog named Xiaohei as my pet. However, I always feel Xiaohei was my partner. He was so cute and people in our village all felt happy for many interesting movements of Xiaohei. He can shake hands with people and make a bow with hands folded in front. The most important was that he had an attractive face.We had ever experienced many amazing and unforgettable things. What impressed me deeply was that he fought with the other dog for me.One day, I went to another village not far from my house and left Xiaohei in house.Unfortunately, I met a fierce dog and almost was bit by the dog. When I back home, I told all things to him and brought him to that village. He rushed and fought as soon as he met the dog I pointed out.I was very excited. The pet is just a part of your life, but perhaps you are full of your pet's life!
第二篇:英语演讲宠物介绍
Good morning everyone, today the theme of my speech is about pets.So what is the pet? What is the definition of pet? A pet(or companion animal)is an animal kept primarily for a person's company or protection, as opposed to working animals, sport animals, livestock, and laboratory animals, which are kept primarily for performance, agricultural value, or research. This is the explanation from Wikipedia.Nowadays many people like raising pets. Some very common, like rabbit, bird, fish, pig…….;some are very special, such as turtle, snake, mouse………A cat and dog, the two most popular pets.Actually, it is good to keep pets because pets can play with the young and accompany the old.Pets might have the ability to stimulate their caregivers, in particular the elderly, giving people someone to take care of, someone to exercise with, and someone to help them heal from a physically or psychologically troubled past.Walking a dog can provide both the human and pet with exercise, fresh air, and social interaction.Having a pet may help people achieve health goals, such as lowered blood pressure, or mental goals, such as decreased stress.Research also shows that living with a pet even decreases the possibility of getting heart diseases. There is evidence that having a pet can help a person lead a longer, healthier life. What a magical effect! However, the phenomenon of abandoned pets has become increasingly serious. Many small animals are ruthlessly abandoned by humans!“宠物”, the name suggests is to pamper it, distressed it, and treat it as our intimate partners and honey. But some people often find all kinds of excuses pet sent, or even directly abandoned pets.It leads to an increase in the number of homeless pets which are too pathetic. Please be kind to small animals around us.In a word, if loves please the deep love.Thank you!
第三篇:儿童英语演讲:我最喜欢的宠物
My favorite pets are dogs.I smile when I see one.I play with them when I can.Dogs aren't animals to me.They're perfect companions. They're man's best friends.Doga are loyal and honest.Their eyes are like windows
I can see right into their hearts.doga are unique. No two are alike. Each one has its own personality. The little ones are cute. The big ones are frisky.Their wagging tails are funny.I love shaggy dogs.i love playful dogs.I wouldn't mind being a dog.Dogs are bright. They can do tricks. They can be useful, too.Guide dogs lead the blind.Rescue dogs save people.Search dogs help the police.Dogs know how to live. They're happy-go-lucky.I hope I can have one someday.
第四篇:关于人生的英语演讲
3.Wisdom from great writers on every year of life 0:11 I'm turning 44 next month, and I have the sense that 44 is going to be a very good year, a year of fulfillment, realization.I have that sense, not because of anything particular in store for me, but because I read it would be a good year in a 1968 book by Norman Mailer.0:33 “He felt his own age, forty-four...” wrote Mailer in “The Armies of the Night,” “...felt as if he were a solid embodiment of bone, muscle, heart, mind, and sentiment to be a man, as if he had arrived.”
0:48 Yes, I know Mailer wasn't writing about me.But I also know that he was;for all of us--you, me, the subject of his book, age more or less in step, proceed from birth along the same great sequence: through the wonders and confinements of childhood;the emancipations and frustrations of adolescence;the empowerments and millstones of adulthood;the recognitions and resignations of old age. There are patterns to life, and they are shared. As Thomas Mann wrote: “It will happen to me as to them.” 1:28 We don't simply live these patterns. We record them, too.We write them down in books, where they become narratives that we can then read and recognize.Books tell us who we've been, who we are, who we will be, too.So they have for millennia. As James Salter wrote, “Life passes into pages if it passes into anything.”
1:53 And so six years ago, a thought leapt to mind: if life passed into pages, there were, somewhere, passages written about every age.If I could find them, I could assemble them into a narrative.I could assemble them into a life, a long life, a hundred-year life, the entirety of that same great sequence through which the luckiest among us pass.I was then 37 years old, “an age of discretion,” wrote William Trevor.I was prone to meditating on time and age.An illness in the family and later an injury to me had long made clear that growing old could not be assumed. And besides, growing old only postponed the inevitable, time seeing through what circumstance did not.It was all a bit disheartening.2:45 A list, though, would last.To chronicle a life year by vulnerable year would be to clasp and to ground what was fleeting, would be to provide myself and others a glimpse into the future, whether we made it there or not.And when I then began to compile my list, I was quickly obsessed, searching pages and pages for ages and ages. Here we were at every annual step through our first hundred years.“Twenty-seven...a time of sudden revelations,” “sixty-two,...of subtle diminishments.”
3:22 I was mindful, of course, that such insights were relative. For starters, we now live longer, and so age more slowly.Christopher Isherwood used the phrase “the yellow leaf” to describe a man at 53, only one century after Lord Byron used it to describe himself at 36.3:41(Laughter)
3:44 I was mindful, too, that life can swing wildly and unpredictably from one year to the next, and that people may experience the same age differently. But even so, as the list coalesced, so, too, on the page, clear as the reflection in the mirror, did the life that I had been living: finding at 20 that “...one is less and less sure of who one is;” emerging at 30 from the “...wasteland of preparation into active life;” learning at 40 “...to close softly the doors to rooms [I would] not be coming back to.” There I was.4:22 Of course, there we all are.Milton Glaser, the great graphic designer whose beautiful visualizations you see here, and who today is 85--all those years “...a ripening and an apotheosis,” wrote Nabokov--noted to me that, like art and like color, literature helps us to remember what we've experienced.4:46 And indeed, when I shared the list with my grandfather, he nodded in recognition. He was then 95 and soon to die, which, wrote Roberto Bolaño, “...is the same as never dying.” And looking back, he said to me that, yes, Proust was right that at 22, we are sure we will not die, just as a thanatologist named Edwin Shneidman was right that at 90, we are sure we will.It had happened to him, as to them.5:26 Now the list is done: a hundred years. And looking back over it, I know that I am not done.I still have my life to live, still have many more pages to pass into. And mindful of Mailer, I await 44.

This is a very fabulous film.人生感悟的英语演讲【2】
We Are The World ,We Are The Future
Someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”.I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be.We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.We are young.“How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s the freshness of the deep spring of life.A poet said “To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour.Several days ago, I had a chance to listen to a lecture.I learnt a lot there.I’d like to share it with all of you.Let’s show our right palms. We can see three lines that show how our and life is.I have a short line of life. What about yours? I wondered whether we could see our future in this way.Well, let’s make a fist.Where is our future? Where is our love, career, and life? Tell , it is in our hands. It is held in ourselves. We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go better itself.Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. From the past, we’ve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher. We’ve learnt that we can’t choose how we feel, but we can choose what about it.Failure doesn’t mean you don’t have it, it does mean you should do it in a different way.Failure doesn’t mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder. As what I said at the beginning, “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”.The past has gone.Nothing we do will change it.But the future is in front of us.Believe that what we give to the world, the world will give to us.And from today on, let’s be the owners of ourselves, and speak out “We are the world, we are the future.”
