Dynasty and symbolize the Qing Dynasty would be as solid as rock and never be overturned.In the late Qing Dynasty, Empress Dowager Cixi had the Marble Boat rebuilt, she ordered to have two water 首先我来给大家介绍一下长廊。长廊东起邀月门,西至石丈亭,全长728米,共273间,是我国古典园林中最长的一条游廊。它南临昆明湖,北靠万寿山,巧妙地将这两个景区连接在了一起。它以中央的排云门为界,分为东西两段,其间点缀着四个亭子和两个敞轩。四个亭子自东向西分别是留佳亭、寄澜亭、秋水亭、清遥亭,象征着春夏秋冬四季。在留佳亭与寄澜亭之间有一敞轩,名“对欧坊”。秋水亭与清遥亭之间有一敞轩,名“鱼藻轩”。长廊内有大量的苏式彩绘,共1.4万余幅。彩绘题材大致分为三类:山水、花鸟、人物。山水画主要以临摹著名画家作品和江南美景为主;花鸟画主要是吉祥图案;人物画主要取材于历史典故和神话传说。1990年,长廊被《吉尼斯世界纪录大全》评为全画廊之冠。

云辉玉宇牌楼位于万寿山中路的最南端。牌楼南面正中的坊额上题“星拱瑶枢”,是群星环绕着北极星的意思。将万寿山周围众多的建筑形象地比喻为环绕北极星的星辰,突出了排云殿作为“北极星”的尊贵地位。北面正中间的坊额上题“云辉玉宇”,是云霞殿宇交相辉映的意思。“玉宇”是传说中神仙居住的地方,将排云殿比喻为“玉宇”,寓意慈禧太后是长生不老的神仙,既祝寿,又歌功颂德。
在云辉玉宇牌楼和排云门之间东西两侧对称安放着12块形态各异的太湖石,由于它们的形态神似十二生肖,所以叫做“十二生肖石”。这12块太湖石原是畅春园遗物,光绪年间移至此处。另外,过去官场官员升座后,下属衙役分列两旁,称作“排衙”,十二生肖石的布局形如其制,所以又被称为“排衙石”。

德晖殿的北面是佛香阁。佛香阁始建于乾隆年间,光绪年间重建,是颐和园的核心建筑。佛香阁为八面三层四重檐攒尖顶建制,高约36米,内部由8根铁梨木巨柱支撑,曾经是供佛的地方。

听鹂馆位于万寿山西麓,内设小戏台,是乾隆皇帝专为其母亲看戏而建造的,“听鹂”是形容优美的戏曲和音乐。光绪年间德和园大戏楼建好之后,听鹂馆小戏台便闲置不用了,现在这里是餐厅。
