一、说课标

《新英语课程标准》指出:基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标是培养学生的综合语言运用能力,激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展学生自主学习的能力和合作精神.二、说教材

本单元是围绕天气描述展开的话题,贴近生活,学生也很感兴趣。且前面学生学习了一些描述天气的词汇如hot, cold等,本课是本单元的第4课时,是在此基础的扩展和延伸。根据我对教学内容的分析和理解,设置教学目标如下:

知识目标:

1.学生能够听、说、认读单词rainy, snowy, cloudy, sunny, windy。

2.能够熟练运用功能句What’s the weather like in „? It’s „ and „ 介绍不同地方的天气特征。

能力目标:能在具体的情景中运用句子What’s the weather like in „? It’s „ and „ 与人进行交流。情感目标:培养学生热爱生活,关心天气变化情况。

三、说学情

四年级的学生,经过一年半的英语学习,有一定的英语基础和技能,并且他们学习英语兴趣浓厚,模仿力强,好奇心强,有较强的竞争意识,善于表现自己。且在前面学生学习了一些描述天气的词汇单词和句型It’s „in „ today,因此,我会在教学活动设计中采用以旧带新的方式,让新旧知识融会贯通,减轻学生学习新知的压力,乐于开口。

四、说教法学法

根据英语新课标的要求和学生的实际情况,我将采用任务型教学模式,运用多媒体辅助法,情景法,小组竞争法引导学生参与学习,让学生在交流合作体验的过程中,巩固运用已学习和即将要学习的句型和单词。激发学习英语的兴趣,逐步提高综合语言运用能力。

五、说教学过程:

整个教学程序,我遵循“广视听、创情景、常游戏、勤练习、重交流”的原则,把教学过程分为五部分来完成。即:热身――授课――操练――拓展--总结。Step1:Warming up热身互动,进入状态

依据温故知新,循序渐进的原则.我首先播发本单元A部的歌谣Let’s chant.让学生在“玩玩唱唱”的热身活动中进入学习状态。达到“课伊始,趣即生”的目标,并且学生能够通过这样的形式很好的复习上节课的知识,并为学习新的课程奠定基础。Step2.新授 Presentation 1.生动形象的实物或实景能让人对初次接触的材料印象更深。所以,我运用多媒体课件展示书中的主题图引出新课并介绍:.It’s a world map.This is a weather reporter.What’s she talking about?学生回答: Weather.然后,播放一段大风呼啸的声音,教师指着地图上的北京,请学生猜测属于哪种天气现象。师:Guess!What’s the weather like in Beijing?教读句子What’s the weather like in Beijing ?和单词windy并板书。同种方法教读: rainy,snowy, sunny、cloudy.5个单词最后教师请学生仔细观察黑板上五个形容词,找出相同点。即每个形容词都以Y结尾,发成|i|。在教学中在教学中渗透语音教学。

2.用2个游戏来操练所学单词。第一个是:火眼精金。教师出示单词和天气标志,先读出单词的同学,可以为本组加1分。通过游戏巩固单词。第二个游戏,Let’s guess.猜天气的小游戏。先出示单词rainy, snowy等图的一部分,教师提问:What’s the weather like?生:It’s rainy。这个游戏是在先前认读的基础上的一个提升,要求学生能根据图意运用句型it’s。。描述天气。3.再次呈现主题图和城市照片,引起学生对学习著名城市的兴趣。教师说:Let’s see the weather of other place.先指着新加坡的图片问:Where is it? 引导学生回答:It is Moscow.教读Moscow.引导学生根据音节拼读单词。并提问:What’s the weather like in Moscow?It’s cold and snowy in Singapore。教学生用2个天气形容词描述天气用同样的方法教读London ,Sydney,Singapore教师领读。

1.击鼓传花。传花,老师击鼓喊停时,谁最后拿到花就站起来根据抽到的纸条内容回答问题。读对,可为本组加一分。其他学生问。如:学生:What’s the weather like?生1:It’s cool and rainy.让学生根据以往所学,用2个天气形容词描述天气。2.Let’s ask and answer 课件呈现6个不同城市的图片和6种天气特征,师生、小组之间进行问答,然后展示。

通过这两个游戏操练和运用本课时重点句子。

3.听录音,回归课本,学生用手指着词汇跟读,模仿语音语调,增强语感。Step 4.Extension I’m a weather reporter.创设寒假自由行的情景,学生4人一小组,老师发给每组学生不同国家和地区的风景照片。每人可选择一个最喜欢的城市,根据照片情况想象当地天气,小组间互相交流。接着,每组推荐一名学生表演天气预报员,并请该学生全班汇报。通过创设一个真实的情景任务,让学生在任务中交流合作,运用新旧知识,提高语言的交际能力。Step 5.Summary and homework 1.老师利用板书总结,梳理本节课的重点。2.根据不同的学生学习能力和需求,听录音,熟读课本,抄写本课时四会单词或短语,小组谈论天气。

六、说课堂评价

为调动学生的学习积极性,组织好课堂教学,让他们都能积极主动的投入到英语教与学的活动中来。本节课我把学生分成四组进行比赛,并分别用前面所学的描述天气的单词hot.cold.cool.warm命名。EG:Group 1 ,you are cold。在课堂上我特别注意让我的鼓励性评价贯穿到这节课堂,用great、excellent、well done等鼓励语,小组加分的形式,来触动每个孩子的学习感官神经。最后,点评小组的表现情况,以评价促发展,培养小组团队精神,激励学生大胆开口,积极活动,为小组争得荣誉。

后一个环节说板书设计,板书是非常重要的教学辅助手段,可以提高学生的学习效果。本节课我设计了非常醒目的板书,将本节课的重点短语和词汇列举出来,加上简笔画介绍,即形象有突出重点,以利于学生记忆。
