您好！

时代在发展，社会在进步。世界正处于日新月异的变化当中。

1971年10月25日，这是一个值得纪念和欢庆的日子，中华人民共和国国旗首次飘扬在联合国总部大楼前,中国恢复在联合国的合法席位。这是基于我国致力于维护世界与周边的和平环境及我国社会主义现代化建设的成就。

中国作为联合国的创始国和安理会常任理事国之一，一贯遵循联合国维护国际和平与安全，促进国际合作与发展的宗旨，对世界的和平与发展做出了重要贡献。

当今世界，中国是发展最快、变化最大的国家之一，中国的发展离不开世界，世界的发展也离不开中国。一个和平、合作、负责任的中国形象已经展现在国际社会面前。中国拥有日益发展的经济力量，综合国力位居世界前列，国际地位显著提高，在维护世界和平、促进发展方面发挥着重要的作用。

和平与发展是当今时代的主题，我国改革开放的领导者邓小平指出，现在世界上真正大的问题，一个是和平问题，一个是经济问题或者说发展问题。为了和平与发展，我国反对霸权主义和强权政治，主张改变旧的国际秩序，建立以和平共处五项原则为基础的有利于世界和平与发展的国际新秩序。

但是，世界仍然有一些区域性、小规模的冲突。例如：1999年，以美国为首的北约趁南联盟内部发生科索沃危机，打着“人权高于主权”的旗号，向南联盟发动了长达78天的狂轰烂炸。这是北约在没有联合国安理会授权的情况下对南斯拉夫动武。另外，国际恐怖主义也对世界和平和地区安全造成了严重威胁。

中国作为最大的发展中国家，致力于推动建立公正合理的国际政治新秩序，反对霸权主义，维护世界和平。
