课程目标:

英语视听说是一门特殊的英语技能综合课程。其特殊性体现在输入手段的多样化,即“视”、“听”、“说并举;旨在向“听说领先,重在应用”的高职英语专业人才培养目标努力。本课程结合了听力、口语课程的一些基本功能,通过对学生进行听力、口语等英语视听说技能的训练,提高学生的听力理解水平、口语表达能力和对语言运用的分析理解能力。以英语录音、录像、电影电视片等形式进行教学,经过系统的训练,使学生有较好的语言实际运用的能力和较强的视听说水平,同时增强其自主学习能力、提高综合文化素养,使他们在今后的工作和社会交往中能用英语有效进行口头和书面的信息交流。

主要内容:

针对我校学生特点本课程主要包括以下几个方面的内容:

1.通过直观的视频材料激发学生学习兴趣进行实用性强的视听说能力的培养,培养学生在理解语言真实度较高的各类视听材料的基础上用英语进行口头表达,使学生能就日常生活中一般情景进行恰当的交谈,能就所听材料或熟悉话题进行谈话或连贯发言,以直观画面和情节内容开展有针对性的口语训练,提高学生的听说技能。

2.通过观看模拟原汁原味的英文视频材料在提高英语听说能力的同时更切实的感受英美风俗和中英文文化的异同,提升其人文素养。

3.听力是学生任何英语考试中的致命弱点之一,本课程利用CET-4等听力考试题型为线索加强学生在听力方面的应试能力,以期提高学生听说能力的同时为其大学英语四六级考试更有针对性的帮助。

4.应学生的要求,适当在本课程中加入有关PETS口语考试的相关内容。

一、课程的任务

大学英语听说课程是为我校非英语专业学生开设的一门公共必修基础实践课程。课程的基本任务是培养学生具有较强的听说能力和交际能力,使他们能听懂日常的英语,并能用英语进行基本的交流。

二、教学大纲

(一)课程性质和目的大学英语听说是一门公共必修基础实践课,目的是培育和提高学生的英语听说能力和交际能力。

(二)课程教学内容

大学英语听说教学着重培养学生的英语听力理解和英语口语的能力。本课程分四学期教学,紧密结合读写教学,在一定的教课时间内完成听说教学内容:《新视野大学英语》按2课时/单元的进度进行教学;《大学体验英语》按1课时/单元的进度进行教学。普通本科:

1、大学一年级第一学期:学习大学英语教材《新视野大学英语》听说教程第一册1-10单元,学生自学2个单元(16课时,平均每周1课时)。各单元主要内容、课时分配、重点难点、作业设计附于后面教案中。

2、大学一年级第二学期:学习大学英语教材《新视野大学英语》听说教程第二册1-10单元,学生自学2个单元(16课时,平均每周1课时)。各单元主要内容、课时分配、重点难点、作业设计附于后面教案中。

3、大学二年级第一学期:学习大学英语教材《新视野大学英语》听说教程第三册1-10单元,学生自学2个单元(16课时,平均每周1课时)。各单元主要内容、课时分配、重点难点、作业设计附于后面教案中。

4、大学二年级第二学期:学习大学英语教材《新视野大学英语》听说教程第四册1-10单元,学生自学2个单元(16课时,平均每周1课时)。各单元主要内容、课时分配、重点难点、作业设计附于后面教案中。

职教和艺体本科:

1、大学一年级第一学期:学习大学英语教材《大学体验英语》听说教程第一册1-20单元,学生自学4个单元(16课时,平均每周1课时)。各单元主要内容、课时分配、重点难点、作业设计附于后面教案中。

2、大学一年级第二学期:学习大学英语教材《大学体验英语》听说教程第二册1-20 1

单元,学生自学4个单元(16课时,平均每周1课时)。各单元主要内容、课时分配、重点难点、作业设计附于后面教案中。

3、大学二年级第一学期:学习大学英语教材《大学体验英语》听说教程第三册1-20单元,学生自学4个单元(16课时,平均每周1课时)。各单元主要内容、课时分配、重点难点、作业设计附于后面教案中。

4、大学二年级第二学期:学习大学英语教材《大学体验英语》听说教程第四册1-20单元,学生自学4个单元(16课时,平均每周1课时)。各单元主要内容、课时分配、重点难点、作业设计附于后面教案中。

(三)教学基本要求

根据学生学习级别的不同,要求学生分别达到如下要求:

1)通过一学期的学习,学生完成听说教程一级的学习,能运用基本的听力技巧帮助理解,基本听懂英语授课; 使学生能够就所熟悉的话题经准备后做简短发言,表达比较清楚,语音、语调基本正确。能在交谈中使用基本的会话策略。

2)通过二学期的学习,学生完成视听说教程二级的学习,达到能基本听懂英语授课,能运用基本的听力技巧帮助理解;能在学习过程中用英语进行一般性的交流,能在交谈中使用基本的会话策略,并能就某一主题进行讨论。

3)通过三、四学期的学习,学生完成视听说教程三、四级的学习,达到教育部《大学英语课程要求》的较高偏低的要求,即能够基本听懂来自英语国家人士的谈话和讲座,抓住英语国家慢速英语节目基本大意,掌握其中心大意,抓住要点;能够和来自英语国家的人士进行简单会话,较好地掌握会话策略,能基本表达个人意见、情感、观点等,能基本陈述事实、事件、理由等,表达思想清楚,语音、语调基本正确。

4)职教、艺体本科学生略低于以上要求。

(四)成绩考核

测试要做到科学、公平和规范。语言测试应重点考核学生的语言基础和语言应用能力。本课程是与大学英语配套的实践课,成绩考核采用考查的方式。根据学生的出勤、作业、作业质量、课堂表现和平时测验成绩等综合评定学生该课程的学期考查成绩。分为:“优”、“良”、“中”、“及格”和“不及格”五个等级。

三、教学实施细则

(一)主讲教师应具备高等院校教师资格,具备学院教务处规定的主讲教师资格。

(二)对教师的业务要求和纪律要求

1、教师要忠诚党的教育事业,有良好的职业情操和过硬的业务水平,教书育人。

2、认真钻研教材,明确每一单元、每一课文的重点、难点及解决的办法。备课做到备教材,备学生,因材施教。

3、遵守教学纪律和学院的各项规章制度。严格按照教学大纲和教学进度上课,不得任意更改;准时上、下课,有事、生病请假。

4、从严施教,严格按照系里的相关教学规定进行教学活动。

(三)对学生的业务要求和纪律要求

1、遵守学院的各项规章制度,严格考勤,保证每节课的出勤率高。

2、课前学生要预习,上课要认真听讲,动口、动脑。课后认真做好作业。

3、提倡自主学习,学生要掌握学习的主动性,切实提高自己英语的听、说、读、写、译能力。

(四)教书育人要求及措施

1、主讲教师应有良好的师德,忠诚党的教育事业,课堂上要教书育人。不散布违反“四项基本原则”的言论。

2、既做学生的师长,又做学生的朋友。在教书的过程中,发现学生中有不良言行应进行教育,正确引导,使学生有正确的人生观和基本的为人处世准则。

3、教学上不断总结经验,因材施教,钻研业务,提高教学水平,争取做到业务能力精益求精。

4、主讲教师应是遵守纪律的模范。上课不迟到、早退、无故缺席。有事有病应事先请假 事后补上所缺课时。

注:1.教研室有权根据学科的发展变化对本课程教学规范做部分调整。

2.本教学规范自2007级开始执行。
