今年英语作文题材要求以“My Approach to Difficulties in Learning”为题，为某校英文报“Experience”专栏写一篇短文，谈谈自己在解决学习困难的一些做法，词数100左右。往年中高考作文往往都会给出提纲要领，写生根据提纲，自己分段，补充扩展。今年的英语作文题型有突破，完全是个开放式的话题作文。

让同学们写写自己应对学习中的困难所采取的方法，话题贴近学生的生活，情景贴近实际，每位同学应该都有这样的经历，有话可写，题目难度适中。英语作文最能体现学生语言运用的能力，也最能考察一个学生英语的综合素质。2011的英语作文充分考查了考生英语语言运用能力，分析问题及解决问题的能力。材料没有给出具体的写作内容要点，因此，考生可以根据材料要求，进行思考和展开想象，自由发挥的空间很大。考生在写作时，要抓住作文的中心，那就是写出自己是如何解决学习中所遇到的困难，既要写困难，更要写出如何解决困难的。审好题，列好提纲，谋篇布局，选择句型，连句成篇。同时要注意过渡连词的选择，比较好的学生可以考虑运用复合句等有些难度的语法，让句子结构多变多彩，做到短文结构紧凑，层次分明，通顺自然，上下连贯。另一个难点就是作文中时态的选择，这篇作文应采用的时态应该是过去时和现在时相结合，以第一人称为主。同时，还要注意卷面整洁，开头和结尾要重点谋划，要生彩。

最后应该把握好字数，要求100词左右，那么同学们务必不要写太多，写的越多错误可能会越多，反而弄巧成拙。

审题是书面表达的第一步，也是非常重要的一个环节。考生在真正开始动手写作之前，必须舍得花相当一部分时间认真阅读提示/题示，理解弄清题目要求，主题思想，内容要点等，这样才有可能写出好文章。因此，笔者在此浅谈一下高考英语作文如何“审题”。通常审题应包含以下四个方面：

1、审体裁

根据情景提示首先要弄清写何种体裁的文章，是记叙文、说明文、应用文，还是议论文等。纵观2013安徽高考英语作文提示：“假设你校英语社团举办以“讲求文明，从我做起”为主题的征文活动，请你以“On the Way to School”为题，写一篇英语短文。”从中我们不难发现：“讲求文明，从我做起”（to be civilized starts from myself）是文章的主题；“On the Way to School”只是作文的话题既情景。因此，本文应当是议论文，侧重于“What I / we should do on the way to school”, 而不是”What I did on the way to school”.然而据笔者调查发现不少学生写成了 “ a traffic story that happened on the way to school”.2、审格式

不同文体写作格式不同。既然我们确定了本文是议论文，习惯上采用“三段论”的格式，即：导入（主题）—拓展（论据说明）—总结（归纳）。

文章的开头尤其重要，“Well begun is half done”，本文我们不妨由现象导入主题，These days, breaking traffic rules and littering are common, causing serious harm to life and the environment.What we should do on the way to school ?To be civilized starts from myself.文章的拓展部分是文章的主体，本文应从两大方面 “obeying traffic rules” and “ paying attention to our civilized behavior” 展开说明。文章的结尾起到画龙点睛作用，”Only when every one of us carries these out , will our society be better!“

3、审内容

内容是文章的主题部分。为了使行文连贯，作者可以适当增加细节。内容不仅要有围绕中心的要点，即捕捉信息，组织要点，还应包括谴词造句，准确表达，合理过渡，连句成篇等。

很明显本文有两个主要内容：1.遵守交通法规；2.注意举止文明。所选话题贴近学生生活，为学生所熟悉，学生有话可写，留给学生足够的写作空间。对每一个要点我们都可以写出至少三、四个小要点。For example , “ run the red;walk on the right;don’t ride the motor;don’t cross the road until the light switches to green;don’t spit or throw litter away anywhere” etc.“ Firstly, Secondly, What’s more, Besides ” 等过渡词自然用到。有了这些内容然后就看各自的语言文字的运用能力了。

4、审人称和时态

根据本文特点和要求，我们很容易发现本文的人称是第一人称“I” 或 “we”, 文章的时态是一般现在时。
