我在学习之余，还注重理论与实践相结合，曾到海关部门去实习，通过对海关工作岗位的实习我基本上了解了公务员岗位的工作作风、工作内容，我感觉这个岗位非常适合我自身情况。

人的选择应该建立在对工作的了解和自己的自我认知的基础上的，成为一名公务员是我多年以来的强烈愿望，公务员是个神圣而高尚的职业，代表着国家从事社会公共事务管理，肩负着人民的希望，追求的是公共利益的最大化，它存在的根本目的是为人民服务，为国家服务。
