如何写好英语作文

写作是学好英语的四个基本技能之一，其实写作是最重要的技能之一。一个学生只有在掌握了一定的“听、说、读”的能力之后，才能写好一篇美文，它能真实反映学生的英语水平。

新课程标准要求初中生能根据写作要求。收集、准备素材，能独立起草短文、短信等，并在教师的指导下进行修改；能使用常见的连词表示顺序和逻辑关系；能简单描述人物和事件；能根据所给图示或表格写出简单的段落或操作说明。初中生怎么才能写好一篇文章呢？首先要克服心理畏惧，要对自己有信心，同时写作时应独立完成；不能被他人打扰。当然，如果一个学生真的在某些方面有因难，他就可以向老师或他人寻求帮助。

初中生写英语文章存在的问题很多，总的看来主要有以下几个方面：

1、英语基础知识不牢及基本词汇记不清，它包括主谓不一致，时态、语态的混乱，名词单、复数等等。如：a clothes , The family is watching TV now，What happen to you just now?等等，有的学生文章写得很长，但由于这些原因，没有一个完整的句子所以得分很低。

2、初中生在写作上花的时间较少。一篇文章他们往往只花几分钟的时间写。他们并没有拿出去门的时间来写，无论是平时还是考试都是匆匆忙忙写完，即使时间很多也不会去思考把文章写好，他们往往只满足于写满了，字数达到要求即可，根本不考虑文章的正确性、准备性。他们写出的应该大多支离破碎，缺乏连贯性，且语法错误较多，忽视对作文的修改，也不重视教师的批改，更不去思考调整自己的写作手法，去提高文章的质量，在他们心中，写作是一件枯燥而单词的事，写作时，他们往往无热情，无主动性，从而一步步陷入困境。

3、缺乏写作技巧。主要表现为一些初中生字数把握不准，不是写得太短，就是太长，甚至还有学生随便抄一些句子在试卷上。写得太短的会因为字数不够而失分，太长的会因为阅卷老师任务繁重，时间较紧，没功夫看而得低分，还有一些胡乱抄写句子的，或是字迹太乱让阅卷老师看不清的，分数都极低。

那么，针对以上情况，如何提高初中生英语写作的水平，本文将结合上述问题，浅谈提高初中英文写作的方法及技巧。

第一、作文要学生积累。

“读书破万卷，下笔如有神，”“巧妇难为无米之炊”这些都说明“积累”在写作中的重要性，英文写作也一样。这就要求学生们大量阅读。初中生可以从图书、报刊、杂志或网上选择自己喜欢且难度适中的文章来读。如果学生不愿意，老师可以鼓励他们且布置一些简单的问题，让他们带着问题去读。上课时，老师进行检查，也可以让学生总结常用的短语和词 汇。如：让学生读关于西方节日的一些文章或一些问题： When is the Halloween?

初中生还可以在日常生活中把看到的，听到的词汇、短语和句子记在随身带的小本子或卡片上，并且随时复习。初中生应深入观察生活，积极参与生活写日记、写观察记，写心得等形式记录家庭、校园、社会生活中的见闻。

第二、作文要有条理

文章的条理是属于文章的整体问题，是指文章内部的结构文章的条理外部表现就是指文章的顺序。比如说写一篇题为“My Favourite Pet”的文章。文章的条理内部表现主要指作者行文的思路来进行。Para1 Introduction: Say what kind of animal it is.Para 2 Main body: Describe its appearance

Pet is special.在动笔前，先将要写的内容列提纲写在纸上，这样写出的文章才条理清晰，不仅让人读懂，还给人留下深刻印象。

三、作文要语句通顺

句子通顺就是做到句子没有毛病，没有词汇或语法错误，用词要准备合理，写出的句子不能清楚地表达意思，直接影响文章的质量。初中生常常是心里想说的意思，一落到的和头就变了样。因此，他们常常会出现用词不当，指代不明，时态混乱等毛病。为了改正这些缺点，初中生就应该多做一些短文改错或句子改错方面的练习。

四、初中生应加大训练各种题型的力度，训练重点句型，词汇、短语，他们应该每天或每周背一些经典美文或范文，最终便会灵活运用了。初中生还应该注意利用书本，尤其是每单元的Reading，他们应该要能够根据一些关键词来复述课文或背诵课文，也可以和其他同学进行竞赛，这样，既有趣，又能提高学生学习英文写作的积极性。

五、充分利用课堂限时作文

初中生可以在学完每个单元后写一篇与本单元课题相关的文章，自己设定时间。如：自我介绍，我的梦想家园或者淡论暑假的生活等等。在一定的时间内完成作文，交给老师或者与同学交换作文。

总之，写好一篇英语作文并不是一件简单的事。只有注重平时的听、说、读的训练，打好牢固基础，才能写出一篇好的文章，所以初中生要不断地积累、实践，这需要大量的时间，并不是在短期时间内看出成绩的，所以初中生不能着急，应循序渐进，相信自己一定会写出好的英语文章来。
