一、进行写作训练的意义

学生不仅可用原文中新学的语言知识(划线部分),还可用学过的旧知识(共10处)。
2.将听、说、读、写训练有机地结合学习语言的途径主要是“模仿”而不是“创造”。人们常常首先是通过“听”和“读”来吸收语言知识,从而了解别人的思想;再通过“说”和“写”的方式表达自己的思想,达到让别人了解的目的。所以我们在训 练学生写作能力时,注意与训练听、说、读能力结合起来进行。我们常对学生说:Nothingshould be read or
spoken before it has been heard.Nothing should bewritten before it has been read or
spoken.具体做法是:
1)听:2-3遍。
2)说:回答理解性问题(检验听的效果,做单句“说”的训练)。
3)读:准确了解所听内容,深入理解文中重点语言知识及用法。
4)说:
①复述:连贯性“说”的训练,完整地重复别人的话,进行语言模仿;
②自由表达:用学到的语言知识重新组合,表达自己的思想。(值日生报告、自由谈话、讨论都是很好的 形式)。
5)写:把自己所说的话准确地用文字记录下来。
3.写作训练贯穿整个课文教学的各个环节,训练方式应多种多样。可分以下四个阶段:
1)在理解熟悉课文内容阶段进行听写训练。
①根据课文回答问题,串连答案成篇;
②听写5-10个句子,然后调整句序,组成短文;
③听写课文中的重点段落或由课文改写的短文;
④听写短文,然后进行完形填空。
2)在课文重点词汇学习阶段进行造句训练。
①模仿书上句型造句;
②模仿教师范文造句;
③选词造句,联句成文。
3)在复习巩固课文阶段进行改写、缩写训练。
①抓段落中心句,构成课文概要;
②看图说写,叙述成文;
③将故事性课文改写成对话或小剧本;
④将对话性课文改写成叙述文。
4)在综合运用知识阶段进行模仿作文和自由表达训练。
①模仿课文内容和体裁写命题作文。如:记叙文、议论文、说明文和应用文;②结合课内外阅读,联系生活实际,做自由书面表达练习。写一段自己的真实思想或生
活中经历过的事;
③结合课文做相关内容的自由书面表达练习。可采用模仿方法进行练习。如:
《清洁工人罢工》,写“罢工采访报告”
《教师肖像》,写“我的老师”
《蚕花娘子》,写“养蚕经过”
《长城》,写“长城简介”
《污染》,写“消除污染大会上的发言”
《观蚁》,写“观蜂”(或“观××”)
《小英雄》,写“一个英雄的故事”
4.控制性原则。写作能力培养要注意控制性原则。从模仿逐渐达到自由表达,自由表
达又要在有所控制 下进行。
高中学生的思维活动能力远远超过他们所掌握的英语知识水平所能表达的范畴。如果我们在进行写作训练 时,让学生随心所欲、自由表达,必然写出许多中文式的英文句子来。这不仅不能提高英语水平,反而有碍于 养成良好的外语学习习惯,有碍于掌握地道正确的英语。因此,写作前必须对学生提出明确要求。
5.随课文教学进行写作训练和专项写作训练相结合。
为弥补教材体裁不全、数量有限,以及为适应高考的要求,我们从高二起还定期进行专项写作训练。如: 1)补全对话;2)缩写、改写;3)看图作文;4)写应用文。如:书信、便条、通知、日记…;5)写短 文。如:记叙文、说明文、议论文、描写文、典故
等。
通过几年来对中学英语写作训练的摸索,我们逐渐积累了一些经验,初步取得了一些成果。学生学会和掌 握了英语写作的基本技巧和方法;写出了一些体现他们目前英语水平的较好文章;高考中在“书面表达”方面 也取得了较好成绩(如近两年毕业班高考“书面表达”一项,平均分为13.3,满分15)。有些作文被选 登在中学生优秀作文集和一些英文报纸、杂志上。我们还要进一步摸索、探讨,使学生在中学阶段的写作技能 和水平迈上一
个新台阶。

高中英语写作训练浅谈
长期以来,英语写作教学一直是高中英语教学的薄弱环节,这与教学的导向、教学方法等诸多原因有关,而写作作为四项基本技能之一,学生不仅需要掌握其技能和技巧,还应通过学习写作,促进其语言综合能力的提高。目前,写作在高考中仍然占有相当比重,写作得分是学生成绩拉开距离的重要项目。因此,在高中阶段教师应重视英语写作,认真研究新教材和新课程标准,在指导和组织学生进行英语写作上下功夫,在平时教学中应有计划、有目的地去训练和提高学生的写作能力
一、新课程标准对写作的新要求: 《英语课程标准》对九级语言技能目标――写作能力的描述如下:1.能用英文书写摘要、报告、通知和公务信涵等;2.能比较详细和生动地用英语描述情景、态度或情感;3.能阐述自己的观点和评述他人的观点,文体恰当,用词准确;4.能在写作中恰当地处理引用的资料及他人的原话;5.能填写各种表格,写个人简历和申请书,用语基本正确、得当;
6.能做简单的笔头翻译;7.能在以上写作过程中做到文字通顺,格式正确。同时详细列出写作技能与试题设计的要求和写作评价标准。其中测试方式:1.短文写作(日记、小故事等);2.实用性写作(卡片、信件、说明、留言、填写表格等);3.图文信息转换(图表描述、信息解读、写配图说明);4.接续完成文段;5.写电子邮件等。而对学生的作文主要从内容要点、语言使用效果、结构和连贯性、格式和语域以及与目标读者的交流五个方面进行评价。教师只有理解了课程标准的写作要求,并运用到平时的写作训练教学中,才能有效地提高学生的英语写作能力。
二、只有在平时教学中有意识地系统训练学生的英语写作能力,学生才能在激烈的高考竞争中,信心十足,游刃有余初级阶段――仿写为主,注意文章整体性模仿优秀的英文范例,在学习英语写作的初级阶段,对于迅速提高学生的英文写作水平,帮助极大。首先,阅读范文可以使学生争强感性认识,熟悉作文所必需的开端、衔接、结尾等基本技巧;再则,学生在练习写作的过程中,能参照一些同类体裁的范文,这对于谋篇、行文,有很好的借鉴作用
二、注重写作训练的多样化。
通过听的渠道获得语言信息及语言感受,在外语学习中是基础的基础。为提高学生听力,使其获取更多的信息,我选用多样化教材,有小故事,对话,英美家庭生活习俗,风土人情,文化背景知识以及人物介绍;且语言地道,由英美人士朗读,语速由慢到快,循序渐进的教材进行反复训练,从而为表达打下基础。教学大纲规定的词汇是经过科学筛选的,是中学生学好英语所需的最基本的词汇。大纲明确指出,学生应“能拼写所学单词”、“知道基本词义,能听懂,在口、笔头练习中能运用”。为达到大纲要求,提高学生写的能力,我要求学生长时期坚持不懈的默写。从而积累了大量的词汇。此外,对高、初中学过的不规则动词过去式,过去名词,形容词,副词不规则变化,特殊形式的名词复数,年,月,日,星期等等,作专项默写,为学生高考书面表达打下坚实的拼写基础,从而使学生在高考书面表达中,尽量避免因单词拼写错误而丢分。
给学生提供一些与时事或与学生学习活动和生活相关的材料。此类话题的现实性能诱发学生的写作兴趣,使其有话可写,有感而发;还能增强其信心,使其写作能力、技巧得到充分的锻炼和提高。除了教材的话题外,教师还可以从报纸上找到热点话题或时事让学生写下自己的意见。如英文二十一世纪报(高中版)“Let’s talk 你说我说”栏目中每期都有时下流行的讨论话题。笔者曾选取不少适合的题材让学生作文。这样,不但培养了学生的思维能力,还让两耳不闻窗外事的学生有了接触现实的机会,拓宽了他们的视野和知识面。
三、注重写作训练的规范化。
高中起始阶段的写作训练,培养学生的写作模式是非常重要的。我按教师用书上说明的写作步骤,即:①构思(讨论题目);②写提纲(理顺思想的逻辑关系);③起草(打草稿);④校订(检查错误,重新安排内容);⑤修改(定稿)。对学生进行写作模式的训练。这样看起来比较麻烦,但避免了反复,养成了好的写作习惯。再就是书写和文体格式要规范。严格要求学生正确、端正、熟练地书写字母、单词和句子,注意大小写和标点符号,养成良好的书写习惯。同时对各种文体特点、格式要讲清楚,使学生熟悉规范的书面表达形式,用正确的标准评析和规范自己的书面表达。
四、注重教师的指导作用。
教师批改是写作教学的有机组成部分,批改过程中,教师的指导作用就在于肯定学生的成绩,指出错误,给学生以恰当的评价。但在批改过程中,如果抓住学生的错误不放,有错必纠,改到最后,就变成了教师自己的作品;如果对错误视而不见,写得再多也收效甚微。我根据教学实践,对于新教材中的“有指导的写”的写作训练,规定学生限时写完,同桌、前后桌互相批改,重新行文,再上交。这样批改起来就非常轻松,而且典型错误,很容易找出,有利于讲评。对于新教材中的“自由写作”训练,我指导学生弄清主题,抓住要点,组词造句,安排好顺序,过渡到段落形成短文,多用熟悉的单词和句型,多用五种基本句型表达。然后让学生共同研究,互相评论写好的草稿,以便最后写出修改的稿子来,这就有助于减轻教师修改作业的负担,也有利于学生写作水平的提高。
写作教学是高中英语教学的重中之重,教学方法也因人而异。笔者只是从平时教学实际中总结出几点行之有效的心得。新教材中许多素材和环节还有待充分的利用和更有效的挖掘。总之,写是一种综合能力的训练,是对学生所学语言知识的综合运用,是一个系统工程,它应贯穿于教学活动的全过程。通过笔者刚才谈论到的课堂课外的强化训练方法,长期坚持不懈地对学生进行听、读、说、写全方位的训练,相信对真正提高学生写的能力有一定的帮助。
