Good afternoon，Ladies and gentlemen.I’m glad to have the chance to speak here.First I’d like to introduce myself.My name is Guo Jingen.I’m from Class 6 Grade 1.The title of my speech is My Life in Dalian Vocational School of Tourism.I hope you can enjoy it.Almost a year ago, I was on the Dalian Vocational School of Tourism.In the one year, I really make a good progress.As a student I think my life in school is interesting and meaningful.Many courses are offered in our school.I almost like all kinds of subjects at school.But my favorite subject is English as well as Tourism.Through my specialized course——Tourism, I can know a lot of knowledge about history, geography.I can also master the professional knowledge about Tourism.What’s more, I learnt how to be a competent and successful tour guide.I also like English very much.Today English is commonly use all over the world.As a tour guide, I will have many chances to meet foreign friends.In order to communicate with them, I must study English well.And through English, I can also make our country better known to the world.Some people don’t like studying.They think it is boring.But I am interested in it.I think it is very interesting.I used to the student in charge of studies of our class.This position can train my leadership and encourage me to study harder to be an example to others.Leadership also can help me a lot when I go to the

society.In a word school life is interesting and meaningful.It is an important and unforgettable period in our life.下午好，女士们，先生们。

我很高兴有机会在这里发言。首先我想介绍我自己。我的名字是郭静恩。我来自1年级6班。我演讲的标题是我在大连市旅游职业学校的生活。我希望你能喜欢它。

大约一年前，我在大连市旅游职业学校。在这一年，我真的有一个好的进展。作为一个学生，我觉得我的学校生活是有趣的和有意义的。许多课程是在我们的学校。我几乎喜欢各种科目在学校。但我最喜欢的科目是英语和旅游。通过我的专业课——旅游，我可以了解很多知识，历史，地理。我也能掌握有关旅游的专业知识。更重要的是，我学会了如何成为一个称职的和成功的旅游指南。我也很喜欢英语。今天，英国人普遍使用在世界各地。作为一个导游，我会有很多机会遇到外国朋友。为了与他们交流，我必须学好英语。通过英语，我也能使我国更好地了解世界。有些人不喜欢学习。他们认为这是无聊的。但是我很感兴趣。我认为非常有趣啊。

我在班里担任学习委员。这个位置可以训练我的领导和激励我更加努力学习成为别人的榜样。当我走向社会时，领导能力也可以帮助我很多。

在学校的生活是有趣的和有意义的。这是一段重要的和令人难忘的时光，在我的生活当中。

Once I took part in an activity named “Develop your potential”.I have already forgot most content of the activity.But what is still clear to me is that the host ask us a question “If today were the last day of your life, what are you about to do today?”

Some people may want to have a traveling to a place that they love for a long time ,also there some people want to have a big lunch with lover, others may want to go back home to Visit the parents.But do you ever thought in this way? If you can do these things in your last day ,why not do these tihings when you are live a good life?

Steve Jobs ever made a speech , in the speech he said “When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: “If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right.” It made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: “If today were the last day of my life, what I am about to do today?” And whenever the answer has been “No” for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life.Because almost everything – all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failurewhich is living with the results of other people's thinking.Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice.And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.They somehow already know what you truly want to become.Everything else is secondary”

So what I want to tell you is following your heart in daily life.

This moment , I am just a studentGood afternoon, everyone.Good afternoon, Miss Yang.Only when I stand here can I feel a little nervous.I'm very happy to stand here to share sth with you!I can

remember clearly last time when I asked Miss Yang to give me a chance , she immediately thought that I must have a surprise to you, but I think she had distorted my meaning.because I just want to tell you sth that I have hid deep in my heart for so long after I took a job in a restaurant.Since then, I really acknowledged that I am just a student.On the National Day night I suddenly felt so boring to study in the classroom or stay in the dormitory , so I went out to hunt for a job from a restaurant to another along the “青大一路”, but To my surprise , hey said that they had adequate waiters to serve their guests.Although I had not expected to find a job eagerly , I also felt a little

disappointed.Because someone had told me : It's very tired if you choose to work in a restaurant.And I wanted to experience how tired on earth it is.And I thought there

must be a chance in the next one.Finally , I gained an opportunity in a restaurant named“状元水饺”，which offered me a job as a waiter.The boss told me I should work form 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.The first day , I got to the restaurant 10 minutes

forehead.I rejoiced secretly it's such a easy job when the hostess instructed me what I should do was sweep the

floor、clear the tables、pass the dishes and provide boiling water for the guests.Then , I started my job with happy and light mood.I swept the floor , distributed the bowls and chopsticks , when guests came in , I arranged them to sit in a appropriate and comfortable room , helped them order dishes , provided some boiling water for them , and passed the dishes , directed them to the toilet.Although I was a new waiter , everything was very smooth.Gradually , sth seemed to be different.The noon was coming , and I was so busy that I had to walk hurriedly from a room to another , I must run here and there , there and here.Because there were so many people waited to be served , so many tables waited to be cleaned , so many dishes waited to be passed……at this moment , I also complained if only the God gives me 3 brains and 6 arms , I would solve my

complicated work efficiently.Gradually , I found I got so tired.If I wanted to go off work , I had to wait for 5 hours.Oh , my God!It's so long and it's the most tough 5 hours ,just like 5 thousand years！!But when the darkness was coming , when so many people were sitting around the table waited to have a meal , when I saw those dirty tables , I encouraged myself to go on working immediately ,because I was a waiter in this restaurant , all that I did was serving my boss's guests!so , I told myself : Come On!come On！!When all the guest left , it meant it's 9:00 pm.It meant the first day was over.Also It meant my body was so heavy and so tired.The second day , when I returned my dormitory , also It meant my body was so heavy and so tired.The third day , when I returned my dormitory , it was 10:00 pm.Also It meant my body was so heavy and so tired and so exhausted.After washing my tooth I lay in my bed and let my thoughts wonder around my brain , how true they said!If you want to be tired , you can choose to work in a restaurant!I told myself it's the first time , also the last time！!And I acknowledged sth----this moment , I'm

nobody , I have nothing at all!In fact , I am a student , just a student！!All that I should do is good good study , day day up！!Given there are sth of much significance I should do , I called the hostess and resigned my job.The second day I buy a MP3 with my wage to prepare my dictation of Cet-6.Thank you , God bless you all , and God bless our teacher Miss Yang！!

我的校园生活

（一）我爱班集体

我们的学校是一个一般的学校，但我们的班级却是一个特好的班级，你如果在这里待上一段时间，一定会喜欢上这里，舍不得离开。

我的小学生活是无聊且枯燥的，在我上初中之前，我从来没有体会到过校园生活的美丽。但自从来到七（01）班后，我就变成了另外一个人。记得刚来报到那天，是我最讨厌的雨天，而且是无意中才得知报到的消息的，所以有些手忙脚乱。但刚一来到这个班级，我的心里就有种奇妙的感觉，这是从来没有过的，是喜悦，是好奇，还是别的，我说不清楚。认识了一个女孩，和她交谈，我忽然有种在梦中似曾相识的感觉，对这里的一切。就是从那时开始，我深深的爱上了这个班级。

老师说要做自我介绍，让大家了解自己，并说说自己想要担任的职务。对这种事情从来不感兴趣的我忽然异常兴奋，回到家里发挥我的特长，写了一篇很不错的自我介绍，也做了演讲的准备。来到学校，老师说开始自我介绍的时候，全班同学都沉默了，还是我勇敢的举起了手。由于紧张，我只好拿着稿子读，也忘了说竞选的事。但我下来时，老师问我有没有想当的职务，我脱口而出：我想当班长。于是又重新说了一下我当班长的计划。其实我是想为班级服务，这是真的，这是因为我真心的喜欢这个班。

接下来的日子里，我和同学们相处的很融洽，关系也更密切了。我把他们都当成我的兄弟姐妹，即使偶尔有点摩擦，也很快就能原谅对方。由于对班级的喜爱，在我的眼里，每个同学都是那么的可爱。在课堂上，我们的班级总是能够爆发出一阵阵欢乐的笑声，因为大家都找到了学习的方法与乐趣。

我初中的校园生活才刚刚开始，就遇到了这么多的乐趣。即使以后会遇到困难和挫折，我也不会气馁，因为我知道，有同学们的支持伴随着我。我对接下来的学习生活充满了信心，相信我的人生也会因这初中生活而改变。加油！我会更加努力
