He___________________________his classmates.I have lived in America for about 20 years.I find American people are more talkative(健谈的)to strangers. They stand closer to each other, touch(触摸)each other more, sit closer together and hug(拥抱)more. In the UK, people stand further from each other. They also talk to strangers, and more is about how the weather is.Americans may talk about personal matters, but in the UK, we wouldn’t really talk about that unless we knew the person quite well.Usually, Americans make friends very quickly, yet don’t expect to keep their friends for a long time. However, UK people make friends much more gradually, and expect more from the friendship. They keep friends for a long time after they first meet.People in the UK also say “please” and “thank you” more often. They care more about people around them. They are used to holding doors open for others and say “excuse me” to avoid bringing troubles to others. Most UK people use a knife and fork to eat and have quite strict table manners(礼仪).They wait until everyone else gets their food before they eat and they ask for things to be passed to them rather than reaching over.Americans usually just use a fork(餐叉)to eat and even cut food with the side of the fork. However, this is not polite in the UK.17.Where is the writer from?

____________________________________________ When people meet each other, they may shake hands, smile, bow, or say things like “Hello!” or “How are you?” But when dogs meet each other, how do they greet? Dogs have an amazing sense of smell —maybe forty times better than man’s.It’s no surprise that dogs use their noses to say hello. When dogs meet, they smell each other’s faces. If they’re friendly, dogs will welcome each other with shaking tails, upright(竖立的)or forward ears, bows, and happy barks.Dogs like to travel in groups.Within a group each dog has a rank(等级).Their body language, when they greet, tells which dog has a higher rank.A top dog will stand tall and straight and look right at the other dogs.Sometimes it will put its head or neck on another dog’s shoulder. An underdog(地位低的狗)will bow its head, lower its body, and look away when it meets another dog.It may even lie down on its side or back.Even though most pet dogs don’t live in groups, when they meet other dogs, they will act as if they do.Dogs learn this body language when they’re very young.Soon they become good at learning who’s the leader and which dogs to play with or stay away from.17.Can dogs greet each other?

ears are upright when he meets Dog B?
