“海纳百川，有容乃大，壁立千仞，无欲则刚”是流传千古的名句，一颗宽容的心可以与人为善，化解冲突，拥有一颗宽容谷达的心胸是何等的高贵。

做人要宽容。宽容是一种素质，一种情操，一种美德，宽容不是懦弱、胆怯，而是海纳百川大度与包容，是笑看风云的开怀与爽朗。

宽容不但能使自己的心灵宁静，而且能给人一伤精神的安慰，解除矛盾，利人利已利国家，由于蔺相如的护驾有功，而且官位一路直上，引起大将廉颇的嫉妒与憎恨，面对廉颇的无理取闹，蔺相如宽容的一笑而过，然而却有了“负荆请罪”的佳话，从此他们和好如初，文武具备，保卫了赵国的江山。宽容于人于已都有益处，宽容的人必定能受到同事的信任与拥护，必定受到亲人的喜爱和关心。

与之相反，那些心胸狭窄、斤斤计较的人，遇到挫折就喋喋不休，抱怨上天不公平，即使有天大的本事也难成大器。周瑜，少年英俊，多谋善断，是一位十分卓越的军事家，年纪轻轻便当上了吴国的主帅。但是他有个致命的弱点，便是心胸狭窄、度量小。对于才智超过他的诸葛亮，始终是耿耿于怀，虽自知不如却又不甘败落，多次暗藏杀机，而每次都事与愿违、弄巧成拙。甚至落得个“赔了夫人又折兵”的结局。对于什么都看不惯、不服气的人，累的不只是他的眼睛。

两者的对比是何等的鲜明！如果周瑜的心胸稍微宽些与诸葛亮和睦相处，孙刘联合，恐怕历史也会被改变，假如蔺相如面对廉颇的无理取闹，他却斤斤计较，那么历史又将是另一种局面。可见，具有一颗宽容的心灵是何等的重要。伟人、名人有一颗宽容的心，那我们呢？我们普通的人呢？

那么，我们应该怎样做到宽容呢？依我看来，宽容就要做到：

一、不斤斤计较，应该学会彼此谅解，不计较个人恩怨，彼此谦让，不计较个人名利得失，彼此尊重，不计较我高你低；彼此关心，不计较个性、品格、气质的差异。

二、应学会换位思考，在五彩缤纷的世界上，没有完全相同的两个人，我们应该包容他人的不同之处，包容他人的差异。你应该体验他人的心思，将心比心，站在他人的角度来思考问题，应学会换位思考。但是我们所讲的宽容并不是无原则的迁就，并不是主张善恶兼容，与不良的思想和行为和平共处，而是要在社会主义道德规范的基础之上，相互理解和关爱，尽理多一些宽容。

宽容是一种高尚的人格，宽容是一种雅量，宽容是一种风度，宽容是融化隔膜的坚定，能消除隔阂化干戈为玉帛，宽容能融化他人心中的冰霜，驱散他人眉宇间的愁云，宽容能使人与人之间的距离，使人能够更好的相处。宽容是首诗，用她豪迈的韵律抒发了人间的和谐和美好。

21世纪，我们生活在一个拥挤嘈杂的时代。从太阳初生到夜幕降临，从巷陌幽幽到闹市攘攘，从稚嫩孩童到白发老者，每一日，我们总会忙忙碌碌地为着一箪食，一豆羹而挣扎徘徊。清晨簇拥的人群漠然穿行，川流不息，公交地铁上座无虚席，每个人都只顾前方，而忘了抬头，繁忙的办公室，沉郁的写字楼。世界仿佛很平静，可谁的内心真的安宁呢？

我们的时代遗失了什么？“晨钟暮鼓，日出而作，日落而息，阡陌交通，鸡犬相闻”，从什么时候开始，我们只能从陶潜的字句中追寻心底的安宁了？为什么人们的距离近了，心却远了？为什么我们的沟通方式丰富了，话却少了？为什么霓虹和音乐声响了，我们的快乐却淡了？因为不知道从什么时候起，我们计较的多了，想要的多了，看不惯的多了，敢怒不敢言的事多了，我们太过于急着让自己更好更强，我们说的太多，听的太少，我们习惯了抱怨，却学不会理解。我们懂得了“狭路相逢勇者胜”，却忘记了“相逢一笑泯恩仇。”

故而人们常常觉得自己的不幸，当这个国家的物质生活已然达到数千年文明顶点的时代，我们却把“你幸福吗？”这短短的四个字变成了全民族的疑问。其实，幸福的秘诀，也无非是宽容二字罢了吧？倘若一位母亲可以宽容儿子一任性性，一位妻子可以原谅丈夫的一场宿醉，一位老板可以理解员工的一次事出有因的请假，假如马加爵可以原谅室友的欺侮，那么这个世界真的会多一些感动和温暖吧，幸福就在你打开心灵枷锁的那一刻降临了。误解可以化作友谊的基石，挫折可以缔造成功的序章，争吵变奏成欢乐的曲调，怒火被宽容的和风熄灭。
