嫦娥奔月的神话故事
远古的时候，天上有十个太阳，晒得大地冒烟，海水干枯，老百姓苦得活不下去。
有个叫羿的英雄力大无比，他用宝弓神箭，射下九个太阳。最后那个太阳一看大势不妙，连忙认罪求饶，后羿才息怒收弓，命令这个太阳今后按时起落，好好儿为老百姓造福。
后羿的妻子名叫嫦娥，美丽贤慧，心地善良，大家都非常喜欢她。
王母娘娘十分钦佩羿的神力和为人，赠他一包长生不老药，吃了可以升天，长生不老。羿舍不得心爱的妻子和乡亲，就把长生不老药交给嫦娥收藏起来。
后羿有个徒弟叫蓬蒙，一心想偷吃羿的长生不老药，好自己升天成仙。
这一年的八月十五，羿带着徒弟们出门打猎去了。天近傍晚，找借口未去打猎的蓬蒙闯进嫦娥的住所，威逼嫦娥交出可以升天的长生不老药。
嫦娥把药全部吞下肚里。马上，她便身轻如燕，飘出窗口，直上云霄。由于嫦娥深爱自己的丈夫，最后她就在离地球最近的月亮上停了下来。
听到消息，羿心如刀绞，拼命朝月亮追去。可是，他进月亮也进，他退月亮也退，永远也追不上。羿思念嫦娥，只能望着月亮出神。此时月亮也格外圆格外亮，就像心爱的妻子在望着自己。

天狗食月的故事
神箭手后羿为民除害射落了九个太阳,普天下的人都感谢他的恩德,王母娘娘为了奖赏他,便带着众仙女前往后羿打猎的山头来见他。当时后羿正带着他的猎犬黑耳,在深山里围猎豹子,王母娘娘把后羿喊到跟前,令红衣仙女捧出一个光彩夺目的匣儿,取出两颗灵药及一枝人蔘精,嘱咐后羿说:“回家用人蔘煮熟吞服,可以成仙。”后羿接了灵药,谢过王母娘娘,便带着他的猎犬,驮着一隻射死了的金钱豹,高高兴兴地回家去。
后羿为人忠厚老实,决定与妻子嫦娥有福同享,一起升仙,于是他把事情向妻子交代一番,便留下猎犬黑耳,带着豹子作礼物,前往乡亲父老处向他们道别。嫦娥遵照后羿的嘱托,把仙药放在人蔘汤里煮熟,等后羿回来一起吃。但馋嘴的她闻到仙药煮熟的香味,便忍不住用勺儿搯吃一粒,吃后只觉浑身舒泰,好味非常,不禁把最后一粒仙丹都吃下。
天黑了,嫦娥见丈夫还未回来,就出来看看。谁知刚出门儿,身体便随风飘动,门外的猎犬黑耳眼见嫦娥偷吃仙丹,独自升天,就吠叫着扑进屋内,牠闻到香味,便一爪抓翻了锅,把剩下的人蔘汤舔尽,然后朝天上的嫦娥追去。嫦娥听见黑耳的吠声,又惊又怕,慌忙闯进月亮里。而黑耳毛髮直竖,身体不断变大,一下子扑上去,把嫦娥连月亮吞下。
当时玉帝及王母娘娘正在赏月,忽见天色昏暗,连忙派夜游神一探究竟。夜游神回来报告月亮被一条黑狗吞吃了,玉帝便下令天兵天将去捉拿那隻黑狗,当黑狗捉来后,王母娘娘认得牠是后羿的猎犬黑耳,就大发慈悲,封牠为天狗,让牠守护南天门。黑耳受到恩封,便吐出了月亮和嫦娥,而嫦娥自此居于月亮上。
《月亮姑娘做衣裳》
夜晚，月亮姑娘出来了，细细的，弯弯的，好象小姑娘的眉毛。凉风吹得她有点冷，她就撕了一块云彩裹在身上，月亮姑娘想：我还是找一位裁缝师傅做件衣裳吧。
裁缝师傅给她量了尺寸让她五天以后来取。过了五天，月亮姑娘长胖了一点儿好象弯弯的镰刀她来取衣裳了，衣裳做得真漂亮，可惜太小了，穿在身上连扣子也扣不上。
裁缝师傅决定给她重新做一件，重新量了尺寸，让她再过五天来取。五天又过去了，月亮姑娘又长胖了一点，弯弯的象只小船。她来取衣裳，衣裳做得更漂亮了，可惜月亮姑娘连套也套不上。
裁缝师傅涨红了脸，说：“我只好重做了。”又是五天过去了，月亮姑娘来取衣裳，裁缝师傅看到月亮姑娘变得圆圆的，象一只圆盘那样，吃了一惊：“啊你又长胖了！”裁缝师傅叹了一口气，对月亮姑娘说：“唉！你的身材量不准，我没法给你做衣裳了。”
原来，月亮姑娘每天都在变化，所以她到现在还穿不合身的衣裳。你，白天太阳公公出来了，她不好意思出来，只有在晚上才悄悄地露面。
