高中学生在英语阅读理解方面很薄弱，而高中英语阅读教学又是高中英语教学中极为重要的部分。近几年高考的阅读理解试题除阅读量较大幅度增加，突出英语国家的文化外，试题还考查了学生对文章整体意义的把握及创新思维能力，要求学生必须具备较高的阅读速度和记忆思维能力，这就进一步要求我们在教学中必须注意培养学生的阅读理解能力。

要提高学生的阅读能力，首先就要总结出学生的薄弱之处，影响学生阅读最关键的一方面是词汇量。词汇是学生的一大天敌，一个学生掌握的词汇量越丰富，对文章的理解就越深，反之则浅，这样就无法更好的理解文章。但是许多学生一提到记单词就怕，常常会记了后面忘前面，我们应帮助学生找到合适的记忆方法来减轻他们的学习负担，提高学习效率。扩大词汇量的方法有多种，如注重学习与积累，学习是一个日积月累的过程，掌握科学的记忆方法，多看多读，积少成多；掌握构词法，通过词的合成、转化、派生及通过近义词、反义词等联想对比来记忆单词。教师平时要培养学生养成归纳同义词、近义词、反义词的良好习惯，要求学生尽可能多记一些有用的词组、短语搭配，这样不但可以提高阅读速度，而且有助于阅读中把握文脉。同时，教师还应教授学生猜测生词的方法，遇到大量生词后，如不影响对整篇文章的理解就跳过去，如要求猜测词义就通过上下文来猜，尽可能地训练学生的猜词能力，让他们明白这些生词既不是孤立存在，也并非高深莫测，碰到生词切勿惊慌，保持一种良好的心态。

影响阅读的第二方面是语法问题。近年来，由于高考英语语法试题分值减少，以及淡化语法的观点，学生也就片面理解为学不好语法无所谓，导致他们对英语句子或段落进行语法分析的能力差，对阅读文中的难句和长句不知如何下手。因此，教学中加强语法学习与巩固是极其重要的。

学生平时没有养成良好的阅读习惯也是问题所在之一。现行高考英语理解共有五篇，阅读量大，题材、体裁广泛，在篇章信息量增加的同时，问题设项的表述信息量也在增加，而且形成多样化，不仅有文字表述，而且有符号、图像、图表等。五篇要求35分钟内完成。学生如果没有良好的阅读习惯，对每一篇文章进行精雕细琢，逐字逐句阅读接受信息的话，很难在有限的时间内答卷，这样，教师就要帮助学生改掉不良的阅读习惯，克服逐字停顿，回读等坏习惯，培养学生要善于抓住句子中的核心句，从一个句子快速地扫视到另一个句子，进行连贯性理解培养阅读理解习惯，必须课内外相结合。进行课外泛读，不仅可以使学生巩固所学的语言基础知识和阅读技能，而且还能使学生熟悉各种文章体裁和风格，开拓知识面，提高他们对阅读各种文章的适应。

为了提高学生的理解能力，教师应教会学生阅读时先看问题，后读短文，再做选择答案，这样使学生的阅读速度大大地提高了，从而节省了宝贵的时间，特别适用于图形表格类题材的理解。同时，教师还应教会学生在有限的时间内用略读、扫读、跳读等技巧快速阅读，搜索关键词、主题句、捕捉时空、顺序、情节、人物、观点，并且理清文章的脉络，把握文章实质。

高三这一年，对老师和学生来说都是一次磨砺。一名高三的英语老师，应该学习、研究新题型和高考，以便能够更好地教授学生。总的来说感受最深的一点是高中英语教学要一气呵成。

回首自己高三这一学期来的教学工作，在老教师的指导和帮助下，在与其他教师的交流和讨论中，教学还是比较成功的。对学生的考试技巧指导及训练是有效的、针对性强的。

进入高三，学生对英语学习主要存在以下问题：

1、学生对英语学习普遍缺乏兴趣、自信心和学习动力；在英语课堂上不积极参与，缺少主动发言的热情或根本不愿意发言；另外，相当一部分学生在听新课时跟不上老师的节奏或不能理解教师相对较快的指示语。

2、学生对英语课堂知识的掌握不踏实、理解不全面，课外花的冤枉时间多；而大部分学生对书本知识不够重视，找不到英语学科复习的有效载体，不能有效的利用课本，适时地回归课本，英语复习缺乏根本, 甚至本末倒置；绝大部分学生在复习与学习过程中不能走在老师前面对基础知识进行梳理，没有习惯性地进行课前预习、认真听课、课后及时复习，英语学习缺乏主动性。

3、部分学生缺少教师明确的指导，在复习时缺乏系统地安排和科学地计划，或者学习和复习没有个性化特点, 导致学习效果不明显。

针对以上比较突出的问题，我们主要采取了以下切实的复习安排：

一、加强研究，提高复习备考工作的针对性。

要想搞好高三英语教学,没有合理的教学和复习计划是不行的。在开学初，我们就制定了全年的教学和复习计划，并在教学的过程中不断改进和完善计划。立足教材,夯实基础知识才是我们这样的学生的唯一途径。教学和复习都应该注重实效，实实在在地为学生服务。

认真学习并分析了高考题的类型，从历年高考试题的整体研究中找共性，目的是总结规律寻找突破口。07年高考新增加的题型为任务型阅读，考查考生在有限的时间内根据需要捕捉有效信息的能力。阅读试题的考查全面，对中学英语教学起到了很好的导向作用。在常规教学及复习备考中，我们始终抓住加大阅读量，开展泛读教学，加强阅读技巧的指导，形成有效的阅读策略，从根本上培养学生的良好的阅读习惯和逻辑思维能力。

二、制定计划，加强复习的目标性。

我们根据学生的具体情况，制定出切实可行的复习计划，把复习分为三个阶段。

1、夯实基础，发展能力。

近年来高考英语逐渐侧重于语言能力的考查，对语言知识的直接考查相对地减少了。因此，在复习过程中，首先组织学生巩固各项基础知识，同时通过不断的语言练习，掌握一定的技巧。在此基础上，再通过科学系统的训练，发展能力。

2、降低难度，回归基础，强化专题训练。

进入后半学期，根据学生的具体情况把握中档、低档题，这对学生取得高分是非常有利的。学生普遍都有这样的感觉：很多题目“一看就会，一做就错”。造成这种现象的根本原因在于对基础知识的掌握不牢固。这时，复习的重点要放在查漏补缺上，进行强化记忆和训练。

3、整理基础知识，适当做一些高考题。要在高考前夕找到良好的语言知识感觉和运用能力感觉就必须回归基础，整理巩固基础知识，用最充实、最满意的感觉来增强自己的自信心。同时，利用这段时间试着做近几年的高考题，学会找出每道题的切入点，从中总结命题利益和命题手法。

三、加强阅读和完型训练,以语篇为基础,扩大学生词汇量。

高考中阅读理解、完型填空是重头戏,也是学生英语成绩提高的重要突破口。教学中光靠教材所提供的量是远远不够的，所以我们备课组全体成员精心地挑选了一些切合我们学生实际的阅读材料并收集打印了许多完型材料，用以弥补教材的不足。在教学过程中遵循精泛结合，精少泛多，精泛有序的原则。选择的精读材料要能够在教学中发挥最大效益，启发学生的思维，促进学生知识的掌握和能力的形成。

在教材的基础上，精选泛读材料，以巩固和拓宽语言知识，培养独立阅读能力。坚持每天讲练一篇完型填空练习，以训练学生综合运用知识、通篇阅读理解和整体把握短文的综合能力，力争在完型填空这个试题的考试上有所提高。在平时教学新词汇的过程中,不失时机地由新翻旧,以旧带新,通过形近,义近,同义,反义,固定搭配等手段串联起大量有用的词汇,让学生从纵向,横向及各个方面扩大词汇量。对于所有精泛读材料中碰到的生词,要求学生摘录下来,老师要采取必要的手段,如听写或再现认读的方式进行检查,以扩大学生的词汇量。

四、加强听力,写作训练,合理安排综合训练。

加强听力和写作指导和训练,是我们高考取得成绩的重要保证。只有多听多练才可能有好的成绩。但只是听和练还不能取得好成绩,一定要加强对学生的集中训练和对听力方法的指导。

听力在高考试卷中占的比分是五分之一，其比分之大使得考生不敢对其有半点的马虎。因此，掌握一定的听力技巧在高考时甚为重要。影响学生听力理解的因素通常有两方面：一是知识性障碍，如：对语音、语法知识掌握的不够，对词汇不熟悉，跟不上语法，对英语国家的文化背景不了解等；二是非知识性障碍，如：教学设备等人为和客观因素。

针对这一重点，我主要从以下几个方面加强对学生的听力训练：

1、首先要告诉学生保持良好的心态，稳定情绪，集中精力倾听录音，整体把握所听内容。利用听录音前的时间，迅速地捕捉每个小题题干和选项所提供的信息，预测短文或对话可能涉及到的内容，预测的目的是提高判断的准确性，有所侧重，提高做题的正确率。从而做到心中有数，提前做好心理准备，变被动为主动。

2、注意重复的词语，这些词通常会给你一些线索，还会帮你回忆起你在题目中听过的人名和事物等名称。

3、注意各选项中的主要区别。你可能会看到一些不同的名字或地点或不同的动词，这些不同之处将会帮你确定这道题中哪些是你要听的关键，即关键词。

4、克服犹豫不决的毛病，对自己有把握的试题应快速作答，对无把握的试题也要在所听信息的基础上排除错误选项，进行优化处理。不会作答的，立即暂时搁置，准备听新的题目。

5、目前高考听力测试中短文理解大部分是记叙文或讲话稿，所以听录音时重在听懂每句话的意思和内涵，注意捕捉文中所涉及的人物（who）、事件（what）、时间（when）、地点（where）、原因（why）、方式（how）、程度（how long，how soon，how much）、数字（how many/how much）、选择（which……）等，以便检查答案。

6、注意听短文的首句和首段，文章的开首和开首段，往往是对短文内容的概括，如讲话目的、主要内容、作者、论点、故事发生的时间、地点及事由等。

7、不管听什么材料，注意力一定要集中在整体内容的理解上，千万不能只停留在个别单词或单句上，听不清时马上放弃，不要强迫听清每一个词，要把重点放在听关键词即实词上，一边听一边把要点及回答问题的关键词记下来。

8、合理利用时间：如拿到试卷后，在试音阶段抓紧时间将前五道小题看完，并在旁边做相应的提示，以便到那道题目是立即能反映出这道题目所考查的信息点。当一道题目已结束，如果早已完成答案，就可以将时间挪到下一个题目；如果迟迟不能作答就不要再纠缠此题，赶紧专心听下一个。

在做听力第二部分时，当录音带读题目要求时就要赶紧投入到题干和选项的预览，如果可以的话尽可能多看几段材料所对应的题干和选项，因为这部分每段材料所对应的题目都在两到四个题目，无论是浏览题干还是作答的时间都显得很紧张，所以要将每段材料所对应的题目尽可能在听完两边后就完成。这样就可以将所给的作答时间尽可能的余到下一组题干的理解和预测上，这样在听的过程中就不会慌张，有利于提高作答的准确度。我们选用的听力材于写作,在写的过程中,给予学生合理的指导,对学生有明确的要求:1)繁简适度；2)有闪光点,要有较高级词汇和较复杂语言结构；3)层次分明,承上启下；4)细读提示,写全要点；5)书面干净,整齐,规范。同时让学生背诵范文,做好语言积累。

五、狠抓教学环节，优化课堂教学促进备考。

注意复习课的针对性。我们把复习重点放在学生的难点、弱点上以及常易出错或失误的内容方面上，努力做到有的放矢。课堂上坚持精讲多练，做到举一反三。复习课上我们注意加强学生的操练活动，让学生多动脑筋思考问题，让他们尽可能多地举些例句，使他们能训练掌握语法的用法。

另外，在课堂上及时有效地获取学情反馈，有效地进行课前回顾，课堂小结等环节的落实。坚持对学生的听课、作业、自习等方面进行跟踪，及时了解学生的学习、复习状态与状况，以便在课堂教学过程中做出针对性的调整。

六、培养学生的自学能力，激发学生学习英语的兴趣。

只有通过辅导学生掌握一套科学的学习方法，并培养学生的自学能力，才能使学生的学习积极性和主动性得以发挥。具体包括：培养学生的预习能力，各种方法掌握英语基本知识的能力，学生自己整理所学知识的能力。另外，自学能力的提高还得益于大量的独立阅读，于是新学期开始就要要求学生人人必备一本英汉词典作为工具书，让学生勤查字典。

一、先谈谈2013江苏高考英语试卷的情况 整体印象：

试题整体‘稳中求变，稳中求新’。考点分布合理全面，又重点突出，注重考查阅读能力。突出对基础知识的考查，更关注考生综合素质和能力的考查，尤其是用英语获取信息、处理信息和分析问题、解决问题的能力。题型探究：

听力像以往一样，连续10年采用全国卷。试题整体难度与去年相当。只是第9和10段材料，都出了4个题目，难度稍有上升。话题方面集中在学生的生活学习上，只是第8段和第9段材料讲的是面试就业和游记工作的情况，学生稍许陌生，不过题目设问不是太难。

单选考查与近3年相仿，不是太难，但是更强调语言的原汁原味和词汇知识的广度和深度。

完型的话题倒是挺时尚，中国梦和美国梦，但是文章的设问有点偏难，尤其是第44、45、55题。文章整体语境性强，对于阅读的整体把握能力要求较高。

阅读的设置有了新的变化，题目设置的数量增减不一，总体上前3篇文章好理解，而且历史上高考也出现过。只是第4篇文章即长又难，对学生的综合语言运用能力和阅读能力提出了非常高的要求。文章选材不是太有时代性、人文性和教育性。

和前几年的任务型一样，文章选择了企业管理类的。总体生词偏多，句子较长，结构复杂。文章的设问的答案，要求学生具备较高的概括能力和阅读题材的深度和广度都提出了新的要求和挑战。

作文再次出了像2011年的图话题，难度一般，话题较好。为学生提供了良好的价值观和情感教育。

二、再谈谈教师方面

改变过去过分重视语法和词汇知识的讲解，忽视对学生实际语言运用能力的培养。

坚持‘注重基础、定位语篇、强调应用’，强化学生对语言的灵活运用和把握文章整体结构的能力。

强调学生学习的‘语境性’，无论是选材还是体裁，都应当多样化。

对于单词的讲授要义字典为主，提供‘语境性’很重要，要适当拓展和补好基础词汇。高考基础很重要，高分就是4级词汇的拓展。

加强对学生多种阅读和听力的指导。不断强化好的原汁原味的英语时文、美文，适当借鉴4级考试的材料也不失一个好方法。当然别忘了其他省市的高考英语试卷，那是宝中宝，是高考的秘诀所在。
