the shorter gap, the happier life It is true that how to create a happy society keeps a fierce discussion among not only our government but also the citizens themselves.And many people believe that shortening the gap between the poor and rich could be very likely to make a big difference.While I accept that the rich may make more contributions to the society, I do believe that it would be one of the best ways to promote the development of a harmonious society in the long term.It is manifest that narrowing the gap between the poor and rich will bring much benefit mainly to the poor.That means the people with great wealth can provide more opportunities to the unemployed to make a living or make more donations to people who suffered from starvation and poverty.In this way more people will have a better life and few complaints will come into being towards rich people.Secondly, the government should introduce relevant policies to ensure more poor to have access to the education, thus leading to a more civilized society.Last but not least, once people in the world will not be judged by the position or wealth ones own, there will exist few phenomena of discrimination or infringement.However, if few measures are taken by the government or enterprise, the rich will become much richer while the poor become poorer and poorer, and the whole society would fall into an unstable and unpeaceful situation.The rich have money to do more investments while the poor can only earn a living with manual labor.Furthermore, it is possible that the novel and high-tech products are not available for the poor, and they will not be happy without health care and insurance they deserve which the rich people take for granted.Finally, the poor are usually looked down upon by others, even they don't have the capabilities to strive for their own rights.So how can our society become harmonious and stable due to so many differences between the poor and the rich?

Conclusively, all people in the country should be responsible for the development of a happy society, but only by reducing the gap from the poor to rich can play an important role.
