在准备澳洲留学材料过程中，发现毕业证、学位证、成绩单、户口薄、出生证明都是需要公证滴

很大菜鸟们开始面对这些杂七杂八的材料和从未接触过的公证时不晓得从哪里入手

也不晓得该如何准备材料

其实即使是中介代理申请国外学校的亲们在起初遇到公证问题的时候都会有一萝框的疑问，更何况是那些DIY的童鞋?

例如，申请学校和办理签证需要哪些公证?

在哪里办理，是自己家乡还是自己所在地?

公证如何收费?可以自己翻译证书么?

公证错了应该找谁负责?

希望看了这篇贴后，亲们能找到答案。

首先，我们来了解一下公证的定义吧。公证是指国家公证机关根据当事人的申请，依照法定程序，对法律行为及有法律意义的文件和事实，确认其真实性和合法性的一种活动。公证机关，是由国家设置的，行使国家公证职能的机构，我国的公证机关是市、县公证处，还有外交代表机关即驻外使馆、领事馆。公证处受司法行政机关领导;但它本身不是国家司法行政机关，而是国家公证机关。各公证处之间没有隶属关系，各自出具的公证书，都具有同等的效力。我们的留学公证一定是市级以上的公证处做的涉外公证，目的就是证明你的证件的有效性以及你的证件的译本是否和原件符合。毕业证，学位证，成绩单可在你所在地的市公证处公证，有中介的同学可以请中介代理，户口簿和出生证明则一定要到你的户籍所在地的市公证处办理。

涉外公证书的格式都大体相同：按先后顺序，第一页是证书原件，然后是原件的译本，公证词，公证词的翻译。翻译很重要哦，因为很可能你公证书上的翻译有严重错误,从而影响你的申请!(我就遇到过这样的悲剧@_@，所以首先想到要写一篇关于公证的贴子)由于现在很多垃圾公证，他们自己不会翻译，只能请翻译公司翻译，而很多翻译公司又是垃圾公司，不负责任赶时间，造成错译或者乱译，抑或是一些低级错误。通常小城市的公证处都是找省里的翻译公司翻译的。我申请了两所学校，一所是MQ和USYD，两所学校我是8月26号同时递的申请，MQ的OFFER在9月29号就下来了，而悉大的OFFER一个多月了一直就没有消息。后来收到通知，说是我的成绩单的公证有问题，要我重新递交一份有效的成绩。我当时傻了，难道公证也会出错?我于是找到我的公证自己好好检查了一下，才发现确实公证的翻译有错误，95分翻译成85分，口语译成听力。我当时很气愤，真的不能太相信公证处了。可是由于时间紧迫，我必须尽快拿到OFFER，我也没有找公证处理论，自己翻译了一份成绩，确保无误后找学校领导盖了章，第二天就递交上去了。可能MQ大学在审理我的材料的时候不是很仔细，所以给了我OFFER，而悉大则相对严格，所以迟迟没给我OFFER。后来，成绩submit过去后的第四天就给了我OFFER。

在不同省市办公证收费是不同的，自己翻译和让公证处帮助翻译的价格也不同。(申请悉大可以不用公证了的成绩，只要是学校承认的英文成绩单就可以了。)其实这些证件都是可以自己翻译的。我去做户口簿公证的时候，标准收费是公证加翻译一共680元，自己翻译300元。因为有经验，我自己翻译，于是用相机在公证处拍了一个户口本的翻译样本，自己花了一个小时就搞定了，节约了380元!还有一次我做了一个委托公证，我自己去问价时说是要收250元，然后让我爸找他熟悉的公证员，他花50元就办好了。还是那句话，对公证处真的很无语!^_^很多DIY的同学在办理时都是希望尽量节约成本，像公证上的一些翻译费用完全可以节约下来哦，不要让公证处“黑”了可爱的童鞋们。

Tips: 筒子们在申请学校或者做签证的时候，不要太相信公证处，拿到公证后一定要仔细检查公证是否有疏漏;如果亲的公证处允许，亲可以自己翻译你要公证的证件，这样可以节约大概50%的公证费;用来申请悉尼大学的成绩单可以不用公证，公证了反而可能增加不必要的麻烦，亲可以直接用学校承认的英文成绩单申请;拿到任何公证，亲都应该及时发现公证件错误的地方，因为如果因为公证的问题而耽误了亲的申请，即使公证处愿意给你重新公证，或者赔偿，亲也是得不偿失啦，关键是要保证亲能顺利拿到OFFER。
