穿衣TPO原则
2008年12月09日 星期二 下午 2:56 “tpo”原则，即着装要考虑到时间“time”、地点“place”、场合“Occasion”。
总的说业，着装要规范、得体，就要牢记并严守TPO原则。TPO原则，是有关服饰礼仪的基本原则之一。其中的T、P、O三个字母，分别是英文时间、地点、目的这三个单词的缩写。它的含义，是要求人们在选择服装、考虑其具体款式时，首先应当兼顾时间、地点、目的，并应力求使自己的着装及其具体款式与着装的时间、地点、目的协调一致，较为和谐般配。
（1）时间
从时间上讲，一年有春、夏、秋、冬四季的交替，一天有24小时变化，显而易见，在不同的时间里，着装的类别、式样、造型应因此而有所变化。比如，冬天要穿保暖、御寒的冬装，夏天要穿通气、吸汗、凉爽的夏装。白天穿的衣服需要面对他人，应当合身、严谨；晚上穿的衣服不为外人所见，应当宽大、随意，等等。
（2）地点
从地点上讲，置身在室内或室外，驻足于闹市或乡村，停留在国内或国外，身处于单位或家中，在这些变化不同的地点，着装的款式理当有所不同，切不可以不变而应万变。例如，穿泳装出现在海滨、浴场，是人们司空见惯的；但若是穿著它去上班、逛街，则非令人哗然不可。在国内，一位少女只要愿意，随时可以穿小背心、超短裙，但她若是以这身行头出现在着装保守的阿拉伯国家，就显得有些不尊重当地人了。
（3）目的 从目的上讲，人们的着装往往体现着其一定的意愿。即自己对着装留给他人的印象如何，是有一定预期的。着装应适应自己扮演的社会角色，而不讲其目的性，在现代社会中是不大可能的。服装的款式在表现服装的目的性方面发挥着一定的作用。自尊，还是敬人；颓废，还是消沉；放肆，还是嚣张，你的穿着打扮必须和考虑是什么季节、什么特定的时间，比如说工作时间、娱乐时间、社交时间等；必须考虑到要去的目的地、场合。工作场合需要工作装，社交场合穿正装。还有就是要考虑到你的目的性。比如为了表达自己悲伤的心情，可以穿着穿深色、灰色的衣服。等等；俱可由此得知。一个人身着款式庄重的服装前去应聘新职、洽谈生意，说明他郑重其事、渴望成功。而在这类场合，若选择款式暴露、性感的服装，则表示自视甚高，对求职、生意的重视，远远不及对其本人的重视。
“云想衣裳花想容”，相对于偏于稳重单调的男士着装，女士们的着装则亮丽丰富得多。得体的穿着，不仅可以显得更加美丽，还可以体现出一个现代文明人良好的修养和独到的品位。
着装的TOP 原则
TOP是三个英语单词的缩写，它们分别代表时间（Time）、场合（Occasion）和地点（Place），即着装应该与当时的时间、所处的场合和地点相协调。
时间原则 不同时段的着装规则对女士尤其重要。男士有一套质地上乘的深色西装或中山装足以包打天下，而女士的着装则要随时间而变换。白天工作时，女士应穿着正式套装，以体现专业性；晚上出席鸡尾酒会就须多加一些修饰，如换一双高跟鞋，戴上有光泽的佩饰，围一条漂亮的丝巾；服装的选择还要适合季节气候特点，保持与潮流大势同步。
