Unit 3 Travel Journal

教学内容:高中英语必修一Unit 3 的重难点词汇,词组:transportprefer, disadvantagefarepersuadegraduatefinallyscheduleorganizebeneathdetermineattitudereliableever sincebe fond ofcare aboutchange one’s mindmake up one’s mindgive inas usual二,教学步骤:

1.因为学生缺乏必要的语音知识,只是一味地跟读,不具备自学词汇的能力高,因此

我在进行新单元教学的第一节课为词汇的读音教学。首先叫学生自己划分音节,然后尝试读,然后一个个单词教并在黑板上板书某些多音节单词的音节划分和易读错的音标。

2.在进行阅读训练前,教师给出一些标准,让学生浏览课文并回忆已学过的单词完成下列表格。表格中列举了6项分类:表示“say”的词,表示“sequence”,表示“attitude”,表示“geography”,表示“people’ personality”,表示“sports activities”。

3.① 在课文重点难点句型的讲解后,学习单元的重点词汇,词组。根据单词的形,音,义等特点分析讲解单词的词性及用法。我会用以下方法,这些方法不是独立使用的,而是贯穿在一起使用。

〇 构词法:即派生词,复合词,词性等转变,帮助学生总结识别词缀和词根。To

例如,transport---transportation---transportable---transporter

persuade---persuasion---persuasive

〇 语境教学法:即通过课文中的句子分析和造句,让学生了解该词的不同含义和

用法,让学生运用到生活中去。

〇 固定搭配法:通过认识词汇的不同搭配,把握词汇的应用并更好地应用于实际中。

例如,prefer: prefer sth, prefer doing /to sth, prefer doing sth to doing sth, prefer to

do sth rather than do sth, prefer sb to do sth, prefer that…(should do)

〇 比较法:通过近义词的举例对比让学生发现其中的不同,使学生识别单词并应用。

例如,disadvantage:“不利条件”“劣势”,指不及别人的方面。

shortcoming: 指性格,计划,系统等的“缺点”“短处”,常用复数。

〇 归纳法:即通过相同的意思联想到它的同义词或与它相关的词组。

例如,“作出决定”:decide to do sth

determine to do sth

make up one’s mind to do sth(联想)change one’s mind

〇 图形比较法:表示方位的词汇可以画图教学,这样就直接易懂,学生能较快接受

并记住。

② 做三维设计的练习巩固

4.晚自修进行单词的听写和朗读抽查。

第一单元教单词的时候,我是在晚读课教读,然后上课就不再教。可是我发现很多学生并不会音标和拼读,所以要独立一节课来教读。而单词的教学我放在reading的教学后,分析完了文章的重难点句型后,学生对单词已有了初步或较深的印象,再进行词汇的扩展,深化和应用。希望各位老师多多指导,给点建议。谢谢!

五、教学反思:

本节课是本单元的语篇阅读课,教学目标是让学生掌握有关饮食的词汇以及句型“What’s your favourite food? ”及问答“I’d like tomatoes,Please!”。在这节课中我采用了情景教学,让学生自主学习与合作学习。在新授词汇让学生更好的理解词的含义与记忆,因此本节课的教学紧紧围绕饮食词汇展开。其中最成功的地方是通过各种真实的食物图片,引导学生对于谈论饮食,运用了身体语言,帮助他们理解、领会“What’s your favourite food?”句型,调动了学生学习积极性,整个课堂气氛活跃,学生的热情很高。本课句型学生掌握不错,但相对来说词汇较多,像breakfast, vegetable等的读音有待于课后再加强。我针对这堂课,现做如下反思:

第一:组织教学活动,在注意优生的同时不忘对后进生的提拔。这节课中我多次让后进生来回答问题,在同学面前表现自己,让他们在学习中找到更多的自信。

第二:关注学生的感受,注意良好习惯的培养。本节课,无论是复习还是在新授课时,都及时注意孩子在学习过程中的表现与反馈信息。还要注意多让学生说英语,要把课文教学重点句型讲得更详细些。注重调动学生原有的知识经验,注重学生的感受,并很注意学生良好习惯的培养。在学习的过程中要注意相互配合与合作等。

第三:在新授课过程中由于情景创设的到位,与学生的生活联系紧密。学生的积极性高,大部分学生能够融入课堂。
