广东省本科高校大学英语写作大赛

大赛介绍

为了进一步深化大学英语教学改革，提高全省大学生的英语应用能力，培养和发现优秀的英语写作人才，广东省大学英语课程教学指导委员会（以下称“省大指委”）在省教育厅的领导下举办本次广东省本科高校大学英语写作大赛。

鉴于英语写作是国际交流与文化传播的重要手段，而写作能力是高校外语教育与人才培养质量的重要体现，也是大学生英语语言能力与人文素养的综合展现，此次写作大赛在省大指委的策划与组织下，将通过全国性的竞赛平台，贯彻国家提高教育质量与培养国际化、创新型人才的精神，推动写作教学创新，提高写作教学水平，培养高素质优秀人才，从而为我省外语教学改革、师资队伍建设、教育质量提升做出积极有力的贡献。

大学英语写作大赛将邀请外语写作教学与测试领域权威专家命题和评阅，涵盖Analytical Writing，Argumentative Writing，Practical Writing，Academic Writing等适用于各种目的或场合的写作类型，确保比赛的专业性、规范性与引领性。

参赛资格

广东省具有高等学历教育招生资格的普通高等学校本科在校生。

参赛方式

选拔赛：符合参赛资格的高校学生可直接向本校外语院（系）或大学外语教学部咨询、报名和参加选拔赛。

决赛：获得决赛资格的选手，由所在学校外语院（系）或大学外语教学部向决赛承办单位报名。其中获得特等奖的3名选手继续报名参加全国决赛。

本赛事不接受选手个人直接报名。

参赛注册

从2013年7月5日起，句酷批改网（http://www.xiexiebang.com）将开放注册窗口。所有报名参赛的选手和指导教师（每个参赛学校指导教师限3名以内）可以开始注册，填写个人信息。句酷批改网将在注册后两个工作日内完成对指导教师的授权。参赛选手和指导教师注册的个人信息须准确、真实。如经组委会查证与真实情况不符，将取消其参赛资格。

选拔赛程序

组织方式：各参赛学校外语院（系）或大学外语教学部负责组织实施，省大指委给予协助与支持。每个学校应有不少于200人参赛。参赛学校应保证本校符合参赛资格的学生都有公平的报名参赛机会。

比赛时间：各参赛学校必须在10月29日之前完成选拔赛，并将入围决赛的选手名单报送决赛组委会。

比赛题目：各参赛学校自定，也可采用承办单位组织专家拟定的题目。可参考大赛组委会公布的决赛样题题型。决赛每年从以下三种写作类型中选择两种。

类型一：记叙文写作（Narrative Writing）

比赛内容：选手完成一篇记叙文写作（800-1000词左右）。侧重考察选手的阅读理解、语言运用、细节描写、形象思维、创意构思、人文素养等综合能力。

类型二：议论文写作（Argumentative Writing）

比赛内容：选手完成一篇议论文写作（800-1000词左右）。侧重考察选手的文献阅读理解、信息综合处理、判断分析、逻辑思辨、评价论述等能力，展示选手的知识广度、视野维度、思想深度等综合素质。

类型三：说明文写作（Expository Writing）

比赛内容：选手完成一篇说明文写作（600词左右）。侧重考察选手解说事物、阐明事理的能力，以及运用知识、观察理解、梳理分析、提炼总结、跨文化沟通的综合能力。比赛方式：

限时网络写作，使用句酷批改网进行操作。具体时间和地点由各参赛院校自行安排（如采用承办学校推荐的题目，在时间安排上必须与承办学校一致），每名参赛学生在规定时间内分三次各提交1篇参赛作品（建议每1-2周公布一篇写作任务）。正式提交前可多次修改，但必须在规定的截止时间前（初步设定为题目公布后三小时内）提交，否则视为无效作品，取消比赛资格。采用承办学校写作题目的院校请注意：中山大学将分别于10月13日（周日）、10月19日（周六）、10月26日（周六）上午9:00即分三次在句酷批改网公布题目（作文号），参赛学生必须在当日12:00以前在句酷批改网完成作品提交。选拔赛成绩由系统自动评分和评委打分两部分构成，各占总成绩的50%。评委组成：评委人数为2至3人。中国籍评委须具有讲师以上职称，有英语写作教学经验。比赛前应召开评委会，讨论并贯彻评分标准，以保证比赛的规范性、公平性与公正性。

奖项设置：各参赛学校应设置特等奖和一、二、三等奖。其中特等奖2名，一、二、三等奖获奖人数分别占本校参赛选手总数的1%、3%、6%。特等奖获奖选手代表本校参加决赛。获奖选手的指导教师相应获得指导教师特等奖、指导教师一等奖、指导教师二等奖、指导教师三等奖。

决赛程序

组织方式：由省大指委组织成立决赛组委会，由中山大学承办，组织实施决赛、安排决赛作品评阅等工作。

参赛资格：各参赛高校的特等奖获奖选手进入决赛。决赛组委会至少提前十天将决赛通知发给所有符合参赛资格的院校，并预先公布决赛名单。

比赛时间和地点：决赛定于2013年11月10日进行，地点在中山大学。

比赛题目：由组委会拟定，比赛开始时当场拆封公布。比赛题目在比赛前严格保密。比赛方式：

1)上午：现场写作，使用大赛专用写作评阅系统进行操作。比赛期间不允许使用网络。评委组成：评委人数不少于5人（须包含外籍评委）。中国籍评委须具有副教授以上职称，有英语写作教学经验。每所学校（含承办学校）只能一人担任评委。每位评委须审阅所有参赛作品。

评分方式：写作体统评阅、评委人工评阅。

评分标准：

1.思想内容（40%）：内容切题，立意清晰；逻辑性强，论据充分；观点有新意、有深度。

2.写作技巧（30%）：结构完整，层次清楚，衔接自然；标点、大小写规范。

3.语言质量（30%）：语法结构灵活多样，词汇丰富，行文流畅，语言错误少；语域、语体

恰当。

2）下午：现场电脑网络写作，使用句酷批改网进行操作。比赛期间允许使用网络和多次刷新提交。参赛作品在参赛题目公布后三小时内提交。正式提交前可多次修改，但必须在规定的截止时间前提交，否则视为无效作品，取消决赛资格。评分方式：句酷批改网自动评阅。

总评标准：上午比赛成绩占总评成绩的60%，下午比赛成绩占总成绩的40%。决赛后将以适当方式安排评委点评，以给予参赛选手与指导教师一定的参赛反馈。

奖项设置：决赛设置特等奖和一、二、三等奖。其中特等奖3名，要求其中必须包括非英语专业学生和英语专业学生。获奖选手的指导教师相应获得指导教师特等奖、指导教师一等奖、指导教师二等奖、指导教师三等奖。

特等奖获奖选手代表我省参加“外研社杯”全国决赛。特等奖获奖选手必须在2013年11月20日前到“外研社杯”大赛网站(http://)填写完备的相关信息，方可参加全国决赛。

注意事项：

1.各学校积极推荐学生参加英语写作比赛，并安排专人统计参赛学生信息和提醒学生及时提交参赛作品。

2.参赛选手注册的个人信息须准确、真实。如经组委会查证与真实情况不符，将取消该选手参赛资格。

3.参赛选手应秉持诚信态度，保证作文为本人原创，不得抄袭、作弊。如经组委会查证有抄袭或作弊情况，将永久取消该选手参赛资格。由此给该选手及所在学校带来的不良影响由本人自负。

4.以上赛制如有变化，以组委会最终公布为准。
