高一新生英语写作常见问题分析及应对策略

写作能力是高中英语教育培养学生的重要语言技能之一，根据《普通高等学校招生全国统一考试大纲》（2006年），在英语写作中考生应能准确使用语法和词汇；能使用一定的句型、词汇，清楚、连贯地表达自己的意思。作为高考压轴题的书面表达，最能拉开学生的档次，极具选拔功能。由此可见，写作教学在高中英语教学中占有相当重要的位置。然而在目前中学英语教学实践中，尤其是农村高中英语教学中，对学生写作能力的培养重视不够，办法不多，如何培养和提高学生的写作能力成了中学英语教学中的薄弱环节。在教师一方，每当看见学生上交的作业中，错误既多，又多次重犯，批改起来，既费时，又费力意，感到心烦头痛。而学生一方，他们一般写作认真，总担心出错，可偏又总是错误不断。在英语教学中，学生写作中经常犯什么样的错误呢？如何提高学生的写作水平和促进写作教学呢？本人针对高一起始阶段学生接受能力强、可塑性强的特点，尝试从高中英语学习的起始阶段开始对学生写作方面出现的错误进行探讨并就如何提高学生的写作能力阐述一下自己的观点。
一、高一学生写作中常见问题分析：
1.审题不细，导致要点不全，人称、时态乱用，格式错误。
英语书面表达不是传统意义上的作文，它给出特定的情境，然后要求考生按照特定的要求进行书面表达。一些学生往往会犯审题不清的错误，遗漏部分要求，结果出现作答要点不全，人称误用，时态乱用，甚至出现离题情况。如写一篇说明文，表达全文基本上应用现在时态。有的学生一会儿使用过去时态，一会儿使用现在时态，更有甚者全用过去时态。再如写一封书信时，一些学生忽视了书信体裁的写作特点，忘记了格式，缺乏书信常用语的运用和人情味的体现。
2.写作组织能力不强，导致文章结构无层次性，无条理性，无逻辑性。
篇章结构在语言表达中起着非常重要的作用，同样的信息点会因为不同的表达顺序传达出不同的信息。层次分明，逻辑合理的篇章结构会让读者在很短的时间内获得并准确理解题目所规定的信息；而叙述顺序混乱，前言不搭后语的篇章则让人一头雾水，难以理解。然而在高中英语写作中，很大一部分学生的文章只是一些简单句的堆砌,不会组织文章的篇章结构，缺乏体现句子与句子之间、段落与段落之间逻辑关系的关联词，主题句。还有部分学生乱用关连词,致使文章的逻辑关系混乱，层次不明。
3.受母语干扰，根据汉语硬性翻译成英语，导致句子结构错误，语法错误，汉语式英语过多。
不少学生在写作时受母语干扰，根据中文直译，写成“汉语式英语”。如：有的学生把 “诚实非常重要”直接写成：Honesty very important.；把“有一辆公共汽车过来了”写成：There was a bus came here.再如：It was against with the school rules.学生误将“与……相违背”写成“be against with…”。
4.写作过程粗心、随意，导致出现主谓不一致，名词单复数错用等一些本可以避免的低级错误。
写作过程中，像主谓一致，名词的单复数等很多用法学生本来已经掌握，本可以避免出错，但由于他们写作时粗心，犯了很多的“低级”错误。如：很多考生写出了这样的句子：People who cheats break the school’s rule.或The examinations now is hard.5.基础知识不牢，导致出现单词拼写，词汇搭配，词性用法，日期表达，标点符号写法等知识性错误。高一学生的作文中也体现出基础知识不牢，不扎实这个缺点。如：advice本是不可数名词，很多学生却写成advices, an advice；把government写成goverment，把lazy写成crazy。日期不会表达，把1976年8月12日写成in 12,August 1976。还有的学生写了诸如“in myself opinion，on my opinion，prefer …than…，”等短语，可我们知道正确的表达应该是：in my opinion，prefer…to…。另外，英语标点符号句号为点，而有个别同学通篇文章的句号都写成汉语的句号，错误非常醒目。
6.受汉语作文思维干扰，导致语言冗长，无关因素过多，偏离主题。
英语作文要求在内容上紧扣要点，紧扣主题，紧跟主题句展开叙述。但有的学生受汉语思维的影响，脱离主题任意发挥，写一些“题外话”，写一些自己的感想、心得、体会等。这样做不仅违反了英语的表达习惯，还会偏离主题，容易出错，而且还会导致字数过多。
7.不会或不恰当地使用连词，过渡句；不会润色，导致行文不流畅，读起来生硬，不自然，不地道。在进行英语写作时，学生要根据整篇短文意思的需要而选用恰当的连接词，过渡句。有的学生所写的词句虽然正确，但由于连词或起连接作用的词句使用较少，不会润色，导致文章读起来显得生硬，呆板，不得体。
8.写作态度不端正，导致书写潦草、不规范，甚至有个别学生在作文纸或试卷上写一些无关的信息。书写在英语书面表达中很重要，但有的学生写作时态度不认真，字迹潦草，卷面极差，直接影响老师的批阅，甚至影响了信息的传递，导致分数降低一个档次。还有的学生书写非常不规范，把“wrong”、“their”这样的单音节词进行断行，书写成“wr-ong”、“th-eir”。更有甚者，有的学生在作文纸或试卷上写一些无关的信息。
二、教学建议
1.提高认识，持之以恒。
教师应让学生在刚入高中时就意识到写作的重要性，并使其了解初中和高中英语教学对写作能力要求的异同。学生如果对写作的重要性认识不够，他们就不能积极主动地配合教师进行训练，甚至产生逆反心理。另外，英语写作能力的提高是一个循序渐进的过程，需要长期持之以恒的训练。所以，教师要制定明确合理的教学计划，通过教学的各个环节提高学生的写作能力。
2．夯实基础，提高能力。
虽然高考英语试题已经由知识立意转向能力立意，但语言知识在试卷中的地位、在语言学习中的作用仍不容忽视，尤其是书面表达考查的是学生的基础语言知识的掌握和运用能力，所以在英语教学中，教师在培养学生能力的同时，不要忽略英语基础知识的教学，要“返朴归真”，夯实基础，逐渐提升学生的语言运用能力。
3．阅读、背诵、听力、口头表达与写作有机结合,加强正面输入。
要提高英语写作水平，必须增加语言的输入量，确保学生有足够多的言语体验的机会。在英语教学中，阅读和听力是输入，是吸收，而写作和口头表达则是输出，是应用。“读书破万卷，下笔如有神。”所以，要把阅读与写作有机地结合起来，相得益彰。如，我们要指导学生多阅读英语报刊文章，例如，《二十一世纪报》、《英语世界》、英语书丛系列等。阅读完之后，可要求学生写一下读书笔记、日记、读后感等。另外，英语听力原文的语言一般比较简练、地道，话题与学生生活也密切相关，是一种很好的阅读和背诵材料。可要求学生在听完后，去欣赏原文，并把好的语言背诵下来。再者，我们还可以给出一些与学生生活密切相关的话题，让他们去讨论，去表达，提升他们的口头表达和写作能力。
4.加强英语篇章教学。
针对学生写作中出现的文章结构无层次的问题以及时态、人称乱用的现象，我们在英语课文教学中要加强语言篇章的教学，培养学生的语篇意识，培养学生对文章结构、逻辑关系进行分析、归纳的能力。把课文作为整体来教，将语言形式、意义、功能有机地结合起来，逐步形成以语篇为中心的教学和学习方式。另外，在阅读教学中，回答问题时要求学生必须用自己的语言，且人称、时态要做相应的变化，这样既能搞懂本意，又能用同义句表达，提高了表达能力。还可以让学生用课文中的词组进行复述，复述
2时既要把握课文中的重点，逻辑关系，又要用自己的语言把主要内容表达出来。这样既锻炼了他们组织篇章结构、句子与句子之间逻辑关系的能力，又提高了语言的精炼度，使自己的写作能力有很快的提高。
5.指导写法，定期训练与分层次训练相结合。
教师在让学生进行写作之前，最好给他们一些写法指导和建议。例如进行英语写作的六步骤：审题构思阶段，审格式，时态，人称，要点等；列提纲阶段，确立文章的篇章结构或各段的主题句（理顺思想的逻辑关系）；起草阶段，确定所使用词汇，词组或短语，并连词成句，连句成篇；润色阶段，根据文章逻辑关系加入适当的连词，使其上下流畅，通顺；校订阶段，检查有无拼写，时态，句子结构等方面的错误，并进行修正；认真誊写阶段，注意书法，卷面，格式等。
另外，教师还可根据学生写作中出现的问题，分层次，分阶段，有针对性地进行多样化的训练。首先可以进行阶梯性训练，如：先进行每日一句训练，然后进行基本句型训练，再进行专题性的句子训练，给词作文训练，最后再进行整篇短文写作的训练。其次，教师还可以进行有针对性地训练，例如，给出一篇题目要求，只让学生进行审题训练或对如何去组织文章的篇章结构，并写出各段的主题句等方面进行专项训练；还可以给出几个有逻辑关系的句子，让他们去选择连词，进行润色等。专项训练之后，再进行写作，学生的写作水平肯定会上升不少。
6.自评，互评与教师评价相结合。
学生写作完之后，要做好评价工作。教学实践中发现，学生均能积极，主动的进行自评和互评，这一活动唤起了学生强烈的求知欲望，从而提高他们的写作兴趣。教师评价，应该一方面指出学生的成功之处，对其进行鼓励；另一方面还要指出其不足处，使其改正。此外，教师可以将一些写得较好的习作张贴出来，或讲评时读给全班学生听，给予鼓励。最后公布参考答案，让学生自己去欣赏，学习，并与自己的作文进行对比，找出不足之处和需要努力的方向。
7．严格要求，狠抓规范。
教师既要对学生写作中的优秀之处进行表扬，鼓励，但也不能放松或降低对学生的要求。“没有规矩，不成方圆”。教师在平常训练中要狠抓规范，帮助学生养成良好的作答习惯，特别要注意学生良好书写习惯的养成。
综上所述，只要我们教师在平时的教学过程中注意发现学生写作中出现的各种问题，并采取积极措施，改进教学方法，通过各种教学途径提高学生的书面表达能力；对学生加强写法、学法指导，进行定时训练或分层次训练，激发他们的兴趣，学生的习作出现的问题肯定会越来越少，他们的写作能力肯定会大幅度提高。

曾经有不少同学问我：“为什么我当年中考英语140以上，而现在高考模考英语130分却很难？”我回答道：“为什么我当年玩星际争霸无人能敌，而今天在魔兽争霸的游戏里确给人贬为菜鸟？”无语……
“因为我在大学的几年里，没有做到与时俱进，跟上游戏界不断变化的思维方式。”我打破了他的疑惑：“同样，你这几年也是错误的以为高中英语的学习和初中一样，考前临时背背单词，随便添添就好了。”噢……
当高考英语更重视对语篇信息的考查和具体信息的深入理解，而中考英语仅仅考查具体信息与表面信息的时候，我们学习思维习惯的培养就成了高中英语学习的重中之重！
1.英语学习的目的绝不只是考试！
英语不仅对高考而且对以后而言都是非常重要的工具。不论你以前的英语基础如何，请相信一点：可以通过努力提高成绩的。所以现在暂时英语学习不顺利的同学千万不要中途放弃。同时，你也要相信：提高成绩不是结果，而是一个过程，最后的结果是你能够掌握一门语言和文化。
所以，现在就克服对英语的羞怯心理，摆脱英语给你带来的困窘。把书面表达和口头表达并行发展提高。多和人尝试用英语交流，看到任何有趣的英文单词都记下来，生活中充满了这种乐趣。比如，万柳新城的英文在广告牌上写的是“willow”，原意是柳树，而谐音就成了万柳，让人不得不佩服设计师的精彩思维。接下来，我们就可以发散思维了，把所有带“illow”的单词都查出来玩。有billow（巨浪），pillow（枕头）。这样不就在生活中逐步学习了吗。这才是学习英语的目的：“To explore the unknown”（探索未知）
2.单词不是死背的！
背单词很重要，因为单词可以弥补语法不扎实和理解的不足，更可以用在作文得分中。但是，背单词不能死记硬背，要背硬记死！单词要采用联想、对比、归类、尤其是构词法记忆，结合字音、字形、字意和句子来记忆，在脑海中创建一种单词的场景来记忆，场景一定要夸张，这样才能记得牢*，才能死记活用且事半功倍。
3.语法不能总记成“固定搭配”
语法很重要。谁也不能绕开它而培养出很高的英语素质和能力。但是，很多时候我们都会说“xxx是固定搭配，记下来！”其实不然，在语法上要多归纳，多总结，多比较，体会语法的系统性和规律性。于此同时，学与练相结合，在练习中提高在分析情景的基础上运用语法的能力。
我们研究后，深深地认识到：新课标首要纠正传统语法中心式的英语教学这一错误。英语教学是要培养英语的熟练使用者，而不是英语的语言运行研究专家。高考命题向这个方向转变，应用性变得非常的重要。
4.阅读时培养语感很重要。
在考试时碰到一些自己从未见过的句型和短语，如果单*语法分析无法解决时，就可以凭借语感来判断。训练方法在此提供两种：第一：大声唱读法。跟磁带朗读课文或其他阅读材料，一定要模仿语音语调，就像在KTV唱歌一样，这样不知不觉中就能把课文熟记于心了。
第二：两遍阅读法。第1遍，囫囵吞枣，掌握大意，不用字典。第二遍，查出生词，划出词汇，整理词句。
5.学习英语不一定要上培训班！
有人说，你说了半天批评性的思考，不就是想忽悠我上培训班吗？请听好，我思考的最后一点：学习英语不一定要上培训班！
目前英语培训班林林种种，皆为利来，熙熙攘攘，皆为利往。大体分为两种：短期班和长期专项班。短期班里，平心而论，24小时让英语有质的飞跃是不可能的，只能激起你的兴趣和掌握好的方法，在课下的练习和课上于老师的沟通此时就非常重要。而长期班专项则比较务实，在一个期间里，和老师一起扎扎实实地打好基础，但是你的时间成本会比较高。如果你能掌握我之间的四种想法和方式，这些班没有必要上，因为学习，学习英语是一辈子的事情，学习的方法最为重要。
如果你对巨人的英语课程或者其他学校的课程有兴趣，我们的建议是：不可盲从，独立判断。你可以这样做：1找机会试听，讲大量讲语法与句型，把生动的课文讲的枯燥无味的，这类课程最好敬而远之。2 问清授课教师毕业学校和在工作单位。3听授课教师的特色，好老师几句话就能讲明白复杂问题。而一般老师则讲得多而不得要领，一旦你听不懂就说你理解力差。
