摘 要：本文探讨中小学英语教学衔接过程中存在教学目标和内容,教学方法以及在学生学习环境的改变，学习心理的变化,学习英语的个体差异等衔接的问题，并提出了解决问题的对策。

一、引言

长期以来，中小学英语教育教学存在着严重的各自为阵，教师之间缺乏交流,在教学内容和评价等方面出现重复、脱节等问题，导致教学资源、学生学习时间和精力的严重浪费，这一现象严重阻碍了英语教育教学的发展。如何解决好中小学外语教学衔接问题是防止两极分化，保持学生学习英语的兴趣，大面积提高初中英语教学质量的关键。衔接是值得我们认真思索的问题，本文就这个问题谈谈以下几点看法。

二、衔接中存在的问题 1.与教师相关的问题

(1)教学目标和内容缺乏一致

《全日制义务教育普通高级中学英语课程标准（实验稿）》（以下简称《标准》）考虑到中小学教学的衔接问题，其设定的课程目标层层推进、丝丝入扣。在小学基础教育阶段，学生应该学习和掌握的英语语音、词汇、语法、功能和话题等五方面的内容。但实际上，大多数初一学生未能掌握好最基本的语音规则和拼读规律，元音、辅音字母和字母组合在单词中的基本读音不会。在词汇方面远远没有达到《标准》中二级所要求掌握的600～700个单词和50个左右的习惯用语。语法方面没有“数”的概念，不知道动词在不同情况下的变化，主要人称代词经常混淆。在功能和话题方面，仅局限于简单的问候、告别、感谢等交际功能的表达形式。在语言技能方面，他们往往习惯于接受性学习、单纯机械模仿、死记硬背，不能通过内部语言系统对大量的信息输入进行理解和吸收。同时听写能力较差，很多学生单词会读不会写，并且书写不规范。到了初中，学生从语言的积累阶段进入了语言的扩展和使用阶段，内容逐渐复杂，难度也随之增大，教学要求从听说为主，逐步向听说领先，读写跟上的阶段过渡和转移。一方面，学生觉得中学英语难学吃力，产生厌倦和畏惧，严重影响了学生的兴趣和自信心。另一方面，中小学教材的不一致，出现教学目标和内容的重复和脱节现象。其次，中小学教师之间缺乏交流的平台，中小学相对独立，处于分隔状态。小学和中学教师之间缺乏面对面的交流与沟通，中学英语教师不了解小学英语教师的具体工作，小学英语教师也不知道中学英语教师的需要。如果一名中学教师不知道自己的学生在小学学了什么、学得怎样、如何学的，衔接教学又从何谈起？

(2)教学方法缺乏过渡 在小学，英语教师基本上是采用直观法组织教学活动，他们比较重视英语课堂的趣味性和新颖性，注重学生参与课堂学习活动的程度和对学生听说能力的培养。小学生通过感知语言材料就可以完成学习任务。而到了初中之后，语言学习的内容越来越多，教师更注重对学生读写能力的培养，因而教法相对单

一、呆板，课堂气氛也略显沉闷。学生除了感知材料外，还必须理解语言材料，这就要求学生学会理性思维的方法。另外，教师对学生期望值太高，经常在语言的输入与输出之间缺乏足够的台阶和桥梁环节。例如，通常在1～2次语言输入之后，就让学生进行课文复述，讨论或角色扮演，但往往由于教师没有能够帮助学生对所学内容进行整理和加工，新旧知识还不能被学生内化并整合成新的能力，学生很难运用所学的新知识和话题进行有效的表达。一旦学生的学习方法与老师的教学方法不吻合，英语的教与学就会相脱离。教学方法的差异，使刚刚进入初中的学生适应不了从感性思维向理性思维的转化。

2.与学生相关的问题(1)学习环境的改变

新课程强调教师、学生、内容和环境四要素的整合，提倡教师、学生、课程资源之间的对话。小学生进入中学后，面临着一个全新的环境，他们对校园环境、师生环境等都感到陌生。例如，大部分初一学生对新教师的教学不适应，包括新教师的教学方法、板书、讲课时的语音、语调以及表达方式等。小学英语教材基本上是图文并茂，讲究直观性；而中学英语课文比较复杂，学生对此感到既好奇，又陌生不理解，以至于影响学生在英语课堂上的学习效果。环境变化的差异使学生在学习英语的过程中产生障碍。(2)学习心理的变化

当小学生刚接触英语时，他们有较强的学习兴趣和求知欲，学习英语积极主动，课堂上大胆积极发言，同时有较强的自信心。但是进入中学后，大部分学生由于对英语由陌生变为熟悉，不再有好奇心和新鲜感，甚至原来有兴趣的学生随着年级的增高，兴趣不仅没有得到巩固和加强，反而有所下降。原来对英语兴趣不高的学生随着英语难度的增大，明显表现出信心不足，对英语学习产生了厌倦和畏惧，这严重影响了学生的学习兴趣，挫伤了学生学习英语的持续发展的动力。

(3)学生英语水平的个体差异

刚进入初一的学生，英语水平不像小学生刚学英语时那样在同一个起跑线上。环境、家庭和个人等因素造成学生的英语水平参差不齐，使教师难以把握教学难易度。例如，我们目前使用的湘教版仁爱教材，是零起点。对于有一定基础的学生而言枯燥无味，其学习兴趣必然受到挫伤。如果跨越字母从语句开始教学，对于零起点的学生而言实在困难重重。第二，学习行为也各自不同：过度依赖老师，没有养成上课记笔记，下课及时复习习惯，书写不规范，作业粗心马虎，拼写错误多，语法概念模糊，用汉语方式代替英语等。

三，衔接的对策

《标准》将课程目标设定为九级别，并以“能够做某事”具体描述各级别的要求，充分反映了基础教育阶段学生英语能力发展循序渐进的过程和各级别之间的有机衔接。中小学教师要紧紧围绕本阶段的教学目标，从学生的年龄特点出发，利用现有的教学条件，实现中小学英语的无缝对接。

1.教学内容的衔接，构筑中-小衔接交流研讨平台，促进中小学协同发展。

中学英语教师要通读小学英语教材，熟悉小学英语教学的要求。可喜的是，近来我们与对口小学开展互动，请专家到校给我们中学和小学英语老师开讲座，相互听课。2010年春开始，我们有六位老师到对口小学给六年级学生上课，每周一节课。我们选用适合于小学不同版本的小学—初中衔接材。“导学—自悟”小学—初中衔接强化培训读本。“强化培训读本“共二十讲，在教学程序上分为二个阶段。第一讲至第五讲为第一阶段，主要学习26个字母的读音和书写，初步认识48个音素，为第二阶段做好前期准备，同时掌握5组微型对话。采用“字母和音标相结合”语音教学模式。第六讲至第二十讲为第二阶段，注重拼读能力和口语对话训练，要求学生掌握600个课标要求的单词和课标要求的交际功能项目的对话内容。主要采用“结构——情景——主题”口语教学模式和“音、形、义三位一体”词汇教学模式。

2.教学方法的衔接，找准小-初衔接结合点，实现平稳有效衔接。初一学生和小学生一样，形象思维能力强，但注意力集中时间短，这就需要英语教师在初中英语教学过程中认真把握好教材内容的趣味性，利用各种直观教具营造生动的语言交流情景，使学生在真实的情景中学习英语，体验英语学习的趣味性，享受英语学习的乐趣。二要开展各种英语课外活动，例如竞赛，满足学生的心理需要，让学生在活动中巩固和运用所学的知识，在竞赛中享受到成功的乐趣。三要控制好教学进度，与小学教材相比，初中教材的学习内容大为增加，升入初中的学生，刚开始时可能不太适应，如果教师按部就班的教学，势必会造成问题的堆积，学生会感到英语越来越难。因此，在教学过程中应注意多次输入，分层输入以及难点的分解，采取先慢后快、先少后多的教学策略。

3.注重师生情感的衔接

小--初衔接不仅应体现课标二级与三级之间的巩固和过渡，包括教学内容，教学方法，而且应体现学习心理的衔接。人本主义心理学认为，教育应该以促进人的全面发展为目标，提倡在教学过程中将认知教育与情感教育相结合，情感是认知活动的基础，没有积极的情感，学习者的认知能力就会削弱。教师应更多关注学生能做些什么，而不是不能做什么。认真上好一堂导言课：在导言课中，教师可作自我介绍，包括教师的兴趣、爱好、特长、教学策略与方法等。其目的是让学生尽量多地了解老师，排除师生情感沟通道路上的障碍；教师更要帮助学生明确学习目标，对学生提出具体的学习要求、方法、建议等。还要创造宽松友好的课堂学习氛围，激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣。另外，要帮助学生获得学习的成就感和自信心。对于学生在学习中的任何一点成功，都应给予肯定，鼓励和表扬。中小学英语教学衔接，是英语教学改革中的一个热点，可以深信，正确处理这个问题终将推动和促进英语教学，终将提高学生的英语素质和综合能力。最后，教学衔接阶段的评价与测试要求不宜过高，评价与测试要有利于学生产生成就感，能对学生的全面发展起到诊断、激励和强化作用。

4.小--初衔接的教材与教法

编写符合课标要求，适合于小学不同版本的小学——初中衔接材。如“导学—自悟”小学-初中衔接强化培训读本。“强化培训读本”以课标二级要求为主，同时融入部分课标三级要求的内容，以语音教学为主线，辅以交际功能训练，突出培养以拼读为基础的自学单词能力和口头表达能力，以有效解决小学英语教学中遗留的问题，夯实基础，提高技能，有效帮助学生排除学习英语主要障碍。“强化培训读本”按“导学——自悟”教学”模式编排，引导学生通过探究发现掌握学习英语的方法和策略，形成良好的英语学习心理，获得主动探究知识的自主学习能力，不仅达到学习内容和目标上顺利衔接，还可达到学习情感及学习方法和策略的衔接。在“导学——自悟”课堂教学组织形式方面，每班不受学生人数限制，培养学生在正常大班教学条件下开展自主、合作、探究的学习能力。按竖排将学生分为4个小组，以4个小组作为班级基本学习互助体，开展“组内合作”、“组间竞争”的小组合作学习。采用“小组计分竞赛”合作学习教学模式，引入竞争机制，实行量化评价。为学生提供均等自主学习和表现自我机会，把形成性评价有机融入教学过程。
