美国的留学要求很高，而申请美国高中的难度也较大。所以每个申请者都想有个好的开头给学校留下深刻的印象，例如申请。下面“我留学”教你如何写好个人陈述（PS）。
步骤
一、列提纲
动笔之前，要给PS列一个大的框架。明确具体要写什么，如何组织素材，如何凸现闪光点。所以，一开始组织整理素材的时候，可以养成随时做笔记的习惯，把突现的灵感，自己的闪光点随时记录下来，最后列成大纲，整理出写作思路，最终形成一个完整的写作提纲。提醒大家需要注意的是，在这个过程中，要注意挖掘自己的闪光点，发现自己的独特之处，由此定下写作主题。步骤
二、开头
一定要写一个“龙头”。我们平时阅读文章的时候会注意到，如果一篇文章的开头写的很好的话，我们会很有兴趣往下读，但如果对文章的开头就不感兴趣的话，根本不可能再接着读。PS也不例外。一篇好的PS的开头肯定非常吸引人，让人有读下去的欲望。而不是模仿别人的写法，给人毫无新意的感觉，这样不管你后面的内容有多精彩，读者都不会有心情看下去了。因此，PS开头要与众不同，要精炼，不用太长，要推出主题句，即全文的中心。然后在下文中环环相扣，层层推开，有跌宕起伏，有起承转合。

三、主题
PS的主体部分应该是铿锵有力的“金刚身”，有逻辑，有说服力，详略得当，重点突出。当你的PS开了一个好头，吸引人看下去的时候，就是主体部分起作用的时候，读者要通过PS的主体部分来进一步了解你是什么样的人，你具备哪些品质和能力等。主体部分通常包括个人经历、教育背景、工作经历、科研经历等，具体写什么内容，突出哪些部分要依个人情况来定。在写这些经历是，不要平铺直叙，仅仅罗列出你有过什么经历，你的角色和你具体做了什么，更重要的是要展现出你从这些事件或经历中学到了什么，这些经历对你的申请起到什么作用，如何去看待和评价这种经历。
在主体部分，一定要突出自己是个什么样的人，一定要能展现出你的特点、长处、未来的目标、以及它们之间的相关性。但不要一味的夸自己，或写出很狂妄的句子。

四、结尾
需要有一个“凤尾”。龙头凤尾，首尾呼应，才算是一篇优秀的PS。PS的结尾应该是一个起到一个总结陈词的作用，呼应全文主题，让文章的主题更加鲜明。提醒大家要注意，PS的结尾要避免简单复述文章内容，应简洁明了，不要过分啰嗦，要有说服力，起到画龙点睛的作用。

我叫李彬，来自中国陕西西安。我在22年的生命历程中，练就了坚韧、顽强的性格，2004年我以优异的成绩考入西安财经学院，现正攻读金融专业的金融学学士学位。我的大学是一所学科非常齐全的综合性大学，大学生活使我不仅在学习方法、专业知识上得到了全方位立体化的发展，更重要的是提高了我对各学科知识的融合能力，同时也极大的提高了我的求知欲望。因此，我决定在毕业后去美国留学，通过了解，目前我希望申请底特律大学金融专业硕士学位。

除了专业知识的学习外，业余时间，我还和我的同学，朋友一起在学校组建摇滚乐队，并且经常参加学校组织的各类文艺活动，2005年在学校举办的乐器大赛上以萨克斯独奏《春风》获得第一名，同年代表学校参加省首届大学生才艺大赛并在乐器组获得第三名的成绩。我还和队友一起代表学校去孤儿院和敬老院慰问演出，受到校领导的肯定。我在丰富的业余活动中，不仅实现了人生价值，同时也锻炼了自己的组织能力，使我的个人素质得到了极大的提高。除此以外，我还非常喜欢体育运动，擅短跑，篮球等。年轻，就应该充满活力。

出国留学简历是留学申请材料中非常重要的一项。那么留学简历（CV）、个人陈述、Resume的区别是什么呢？
留学简历
要求申请者在一到两页的篇幅内简单明了地展示教育背景、工作经历、参与和主持过的科研项目、在这些科研项目中所担任的职位，并通过列举在学习和工作中所获得的成绩，是招生工作人员了解申请者所具备的素质和资格。
留学简历和个人陈述的关系
二者侧重点不同。留学简历是框架式写作，侧重于简洁与全面；陈述的写作则侧重于细节和独特性。留学简历是用简洁、准确的语言层次分明地概括申请者的信息，帮助评委们在短时间内对申请者有一个全面的了解，如：曾做过哪些工作、参与过哪些科研课题等；个人陈述则是从简历中挑选出重要、有代表性的事例展开来写，通过细节来展示申请者所具有的素质和能力。个人陈述可以使评委更好地了解申请者，帮助他们从千篇一律的PS中脱颖而出。

CV和resume的区别
CV的完整形式是拉丁文Curriculum Vitae，在美国，CV主要是用于申请学术、教育、科研职位，或者申请奖学金等等。精确而言，CV应该是履历，Resume才是简历。Resume概述了与求职有关的教育准备和经历，是对经验技能的摘要，其主要目的在说服用人单位老板雇佣自己；Curriculum Vitae则集中说明学术工作，不重视与文化程度和学习成绩无直接关系的资料。

个人陈述：重点（每一个段落都要有一个主题，第一句话是主题，下面以此来展开，支持第一句。）
个人PS分以下几点：
一：个人基本信息及情况（包括家庭状况，学习情况，性格，个人特长）。
二：个人特长（对一的拓展）--主要介绍三个与专业相关的特征
每一个特长自成一段，第一句是对特征的总括，下面是例子的举证。如领导力，就要举出相应的例子进行证明。
三：专业计划（由二过渡过来，因为个人情况，兴趣，能力而选择了这个专业）
第一句是选择的专业，下面是对此专业认识及自己的远景计划。
四：选择美国的原因及录取后，毕业后的计划
总括下此专业在美国的排名境况，然后规划下自己在此专业的长远计划以及学成后的打算。
总之：PS要简洁，明了，每一个段落多有其特色，相应的见模板，从模板中理解上面说的要点。按照上面的要求先写出中文的PS。类似议论文或叙述文。
下面是更细致的PS介绍（可参考）
1、保持真实性。
2、写出特点。每个人的生活都大同小异，但是每个人又有独具特色的一面，如果你写出自己的特色，你就是一个独特的，没有人能够模仿的人，同时你的个人陈述也会激发读者的阅读兴趣。
3、细节支持。再次强调，个人陈述中不要有那么多的虚词和空洞的内容，一定要有细节去支撑你想突出的主题。把一个事物具体化，这样不仅内容充实，有细节，也容易让别人相信，觉得这个事情是真的。
4、抓住他们的眼球。每个申请委员会的老师会阅读每一篇个人陈述，因为这是他们的职责，如何在众多文书中吸引他们的眼球，让他们留下深刻印象？抓住老师眼球你就成功了一半，独特的开头和结尾，吸引人的细节描述比起虚词更能抓住他们的眼球。
5、对自己有信心。信心是成功的源泉，不管怎么样，都要相信自己是最好的。
搜集想法的方式有很多种，比如形象灵感，列单子，头脑风暴等等。现在让我们先来一个头脑风暴吧!或许会有一些东西是你未曾想到的!

个人陈述写作程序第二步：精简想法
通过以上方法，相信很多内容会在你脑海中出现，比如目标，重要经历，个人优势等等，我们要把大量想法精简，找出最能表现你自己的。你必须找出一个主题，这个主题不仅得将你的个性特征与经历完美融合形成一个连贯整体，还要表达你对进入这所学校的强烈愿望。审理材料的也是一个正常人，也会疲惫，如何给一个每天阅读50-100份类似文稿的人留下一个持久的印象并非易事，这就要求你的文章必须精简，有想法，有主题，不能把所有你认为优秀的东西都列在上面，必须有所删减。在删减过程中要注意：你选的主题是否有利于突出你个人的价值?有没有具体的事例以能更生动描述你的经历?你的主题有噱头吗?你的主题是不是申请表上一些内容的简单重复?文章中有支持主题的段落吗?你能完整回答提出的问题吗?能在限定的次数内充分表达你的观点吗?你的主题会牵扯到许多其他人吗?例如信奉上帝，民主党或共和党……争议性的东西最好不要出现在这些主题中。
精简想法，把主题确定下来以后，你要仔细搜索关于这些主题的细节，越详细越好!这些细节要有力支撑你的主题。人们都不喜欢空头话，都不喜欢虚的东西。只有细节撑腰，事实做主，写出来的东西才有真实性，才能打动人。在搜索细节的过程中，你就可以计划这个细节适合放在什么地方。
个人陈述写作程序第四步：创建结构和提炼大纲
主题确定了，细节想好了，结构和大纲自然就出来了。这主要想说一下开头和结尾。开头千万不要写我是谁谁，来自哪，想申请贵校什么专业。这样的开头方式太过于开门见山，无任何特色可言。有特色的开头是成功的一半，能让读者有继续看下去的念头。制造一个悬念，创造一个情境等等，都是不错的开头方式。结尾部分也很重要，材料审核者今天心情不好，可能不看你中间部分的内容，但肯定也会看你开头和结尾部分，所以一个好文章，不仅要有吸引人的开头，也要一个给人留下印象深刻的结尾。
个人陈述写作程序第五步：初稿及修改
提纲是初稿的根据，往提纲里头加入细节和内容，初稿就出来了。初稿完成以后，先休息两天，过两天再回头看看你写的文章，再回归到最原始的问题。
1.文章能不能很好表现你自己?
2.文章的开头和结尾是否真的吸引人?是否能给人留下深刻印象?
3.文章是否有明确的主题?所有内容是否围绕这个主题?
4.文章有详细细节支撑吗?
5.文章有语法错误吗?
6.我能写的再好一点吗?
