一、说教学内容

今天我说课的内容是人民教育出版社出版的PEP 小学英语六年级上册 Unit 4 I have a pen pal.的Part B部分,主要能够听、说、认:Canberra、amazing这两个单词以及听、说、读、写:studies、puzzle、hiking这三个新词。

二、说教材

本节课的重点是动词第三人称单数的变化。在Part A的学习中,学生已经掌握了What is your hobby? My hobby is doing something 的表达。而本节课的学习中他们将学习反义疑问句Does he...? Yes, he does/No,he doesn’t.并且结合上节课学的句型,询问有关笔友的内容。

三、说教学目标

《英语课程标准》指出:激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展学生自主学习的能力和合作精神是小学英语教学的基本任务。在认真分析教材的基础上,我针对学生实际,将本课时的教学目标及重,难点确定如下: 1.知识目标

(1)能够听、说、认:Canberra、amazing这两个单词以及听、说、读、写:studies、puzzle、hiking这三个新词。

(2)能够在合作中完成Does he...? Yes, he does/No,he doesn’t.的对话。

2.能力目标

根据本课的教学内容、教学目标、学生的年龄特征和心理特征,为了更好地激发学生学习兴趣,从而能积极主动参与学习。教学中运用多媒体课件、图片等教学辅助手段,置抽象的句型于一个个生动的情景、游戏之中,不仅使学习过程自然轻松,更能较好地启智开思。

八、说教学过程 1.热身环节(warming up)

教育家托尔斯泰说过:―个成功的教学所必须的不是强制,而是激发学生的兴趣,兴趣是推动学生学习的强大动力,是学生参与教学活动的基础。激发学生参与学习的兴趣,是新课导入的关键。

Well begun, half done.精彩的课堂开头,往往给学生带来新意、亲切的感觉,不仅能使学生迅速地兴奋起来,而且还会使学生把学习当成一种自我需要,自然地进入学习新知的情景。(1)自由会话

T:Good morning!,Boys and girls!Ss: Good morning, teacher!T:How are you today? Ss:I am fine, thank you!T:These days are getting colder and colder,I hope you can take care of yourselves,ok? Ss:OK!T:Good!Sit down,please.[设计意图]在课堂开始前,先与学生进行自由的会话,可以让学生在一个轻松的状态下进入英语课堂的状态。(2)复习知识 激活大脑

在这个复习过程中,我没有简单的把单词呈现出来,而是利用ppt在页面上做出了追光灯的效果,让学生通过一闪而过的“灯光”猜测出单词。

T:Before we start the class, let’s look at the screen.We can see there is a light.And this light will show you the phrases we have learned in the last class.If you see the light, do pair-work with your partner and use the conversation on the screen.Pairwork What is your hobby? [设计意图] 通过旧知识复习,打开学生的思路,为接下来补充新知识做准备。有助于培养学生的语言思维能力的开放性。通过追光灯的效果,激发学生的兴趣,让学生猜一猜单词,然后再和同桌进行合作。这个过程,检验了学生对上节课词组认、说、读。并且让学生学会与同桌进行合作学习。2.导入环节(lead in)

在复习完我们学过得词组以后,我进入了今天相关课程的课堂导入环节。(向学生展示人人网的画面)T:Do you know what is this? S:I don’t know...T:Where can you see this ? S: In the computer.T:Yes, in the computer we can see this.And we call it website.And what can you see in the website.S: Some Chinese names.T:Good!And we can see there are some names on the website.So maybe we can search the name on the website and make friends with someone so we can call it “pen pal website”.(向学生展示Miss White和Wu Yifan 谈话的画面)

T:Look at the picture, we can see Miss White and Wu Yifan are talking.What are they talking about? Who can guess? S:Maybe they are talking about a pen pal.T:A good thinking!So listen carefully to the next dialogue and try to answer this two questions.The first one is “What are they talking about?” And who can read the next question for us ? S:How old is the student from Australia? T:Good,now let’s listen to the recording.[设计意图]在这个环节我希望 找到话题与所授新知的契合点,让学生很自然地从一个话题向另一个话题过渡,从而开始了本节课pen pal的话题。

3.呈现、操练(Presentation, Practice)

提问学生听到的对话内容的最后一句话是什么。

T:Now we have listened the conversation between Miss White and Wu Yifan.I have a question for you ,maybe is a little bit difficult ,what did Wu Yifan say at the end of conversation? S:I’ll write an email to him today.T:Well-done!So Wu Yifan and his pen pal writes emails to each other everyday.And Wu Yifan is getting know more about his pen pal and now he is gonging to introduce his pen pal to us.[设计意图]这个过程,我问学生关于对话的内容问题。在只听一遍的情况下,这个问题要求学生真正的听懂对话的内容,而不是只听懂关键词。这个略有的难度的问题,可以锻炼班上的尖子生。接着开始向学生展示let’s learn中的单词。

T:So Wu Yifan is introducing his pen pal to us.Look at the picture and tell me what does his pen pal usually do.Look at the first picture, what does his pen pal usually do ? S:He usually cook Chinese food.T:COOK or COOKS? Think about it.S:Oh!Cooks!

T:So speak the sentence again.S:He usually cooks Chinese food.T:Good!Read after me, cooks Chinese food.Ss:Cooks Chinese food.在学生变化了动词第三人称单数以后,在ppt中也将原本呈现的原型的词组变成第三人称单数的形式。然后也利用这个模式分别学习了studies Chinese,does word puzzles,goes hiking。

[设计意图]先不告诉学生第三人称单数的变化,让学生在实践的过程中,自己发现第三人称单数的变化,从而强化了第三人称单数变化。在向学生展示的过程中,我也运用ppt让变化后新加的单词s变成红色,以加强学生的印象。

当讲到does word puzzles 的时候,加入了一个简单的只有横向的word puzzle。

[设计意图]因为这个环节相对保守,只是单纯的把课堂上的单词呈现出来,所以加入一个拼字谜的游戏,可以让学生激起兴趣,不会让课堂对学生失去吸引力

在幻灯片中打出不同类型的动词,然后让学生进行第三人称单数的变化。

[设计意图]在这个过程中,学生可以通过实践自己慢慢发现不同类型的动词的第三人称变化的不同。从而强化和巩固动词的第三人称变化。接着,在ppt中呈现Wu Yifan和John的对话的情景

T:One day,Wu Yifan is going to write an email to his pen pal.And John comes to see him So they have a conversation.Let’s listen what are they talking about.And answer this tow question.对话这一部分,我打算听三遍。第一遍回答两个简单的问题,让学生熟悉课文。第二遍让学生找两个John的共同点,然后引出Amazing这个词。接着,让学生跟读读课文录音,再分段朗读,进而吃透对话。课后作业

Unit 1

How Do You Go There?Part B Let’ s read(The Traffic Rules)。本单元重点学习如何询问和回答人们日常出行的方式,这个话题与学生的日常生活紧密联系。而本节课的内容是通过阅读短文培养学生的阅读能力,并了解部分国家交通文化的典型差异。

二、说教学目标:

1、知识目标:读懂短文,能认读same, every country, right side, left side等新词组。

2、能力目标:培养学生获取信息和处理信息的能力;培养学生良好的阅读习惯,学习并能运用阅读的方法。

3、情感目标:帮助学生建立自觉遵守交通规则的观念,了解不同国家交通规则的异同。

三、说教学重难点 重点:帮助学生理解句型In China, drivers drive on the right side of the road.In the US, drivers drive on the right side, too.In England and Australia, however, drivers drive on the left side of the road.难点:学生对文化差异的了解:在中国和美国等国家车辆靠右行驶,但在有些国家车辆靠左行驶,比如英国、澳大利亚等地。

四、说教法、学法:

(一)TPR活动法:用TPR活动法生动愉快地让学生适应上课,开始进入状态,同时是一个对以前的学习内容的复习,为下面的学习内容做铺垫,为学生展开新内容提供知识基础,也为课堂气氛增色不少。

(二)词不离句(语境):每一个陌生的单词或词组,都放在句子和短文中让学生去理解,培养学生在语境中猜词的能力。

(三)小组学习法:每四个人一组,在互动中互相启发产生思维的碰撞,同时注意保证每个学生都有机会参与学习、而培养学生和伙伴合作的意识和策略,提高人际交往能力。学生也在独立与合作的交织中调控了自身的学习,变得自信、自强。

(四)练习法:最后设置一个读短文的练习,使学生将学习到的阅读方法得到实际的运用。

(五)借助多媒体辅助法、实物教学法来呈现材料,激发学生的学习兴趣和求知欲。

说教学过程:

本课采用五步教学法:

(一)Preparation准备活动。

由课前精彩一分钟引出教师的Chant(自我介绍,交通方式)学生按交通方式分为四组,此时拍手连环Chant Group bike: I go to school by bike.How do you go to school? Group bus: I go to school by bus.How do you go to school?„„

这一过程既是学生复习旧的语言知识,为下一步学习作好铺垫,也是通过TPR活动让学生把所有的注意力集中到课堂中来,为英语学习创造了一种良好的

氛围。

(二)Pre-reading阅读前活动。

T 仍用Chant节奏引出主题The traffic rules,板书课题并教授。此过程为适应未学习过the traffic lights& rules的学生设计,既引入主题又渗透了新词组。

(三)In-reading 阅读中活动。

这一过程是为了培养学生获取信息和处理信息的能力,在完成任务的过程中逐步加深对阅读材料的理解,并培养其在语境中猜词的能力。

1、T以课件出示主题句Do you know the traffic rules? If you go by car, by bike or on foot, you must know the traffic rules.,领读渗透。

请学生默读短文第一部分并圈出生词。

处理生词。采用同学说、一起猜和老师讲解三种方式。

最后一个生词预设为the traffic lights, 猜过词义后,引入三种交通信号灯及各自含义。然后通过chant 和TPR活动巩固。

2、由交通信号灯引出第二段主题句“不一样的交通规则”The traffic lights are the same in every country.But there are some differences in the traffic rules.请学生仔细观察并找出两幅图的不同,由此教授新词组right side,on the right side of the road,on the left side of the road。

利用身体部位引导学生更多地练说,并用节奏来练习巩固。请学生去文中寻找两幅图不同的原因,并圈出生词。处理生词。

Ss 试回答两图不同的原因,T 帮助总结:Different country has different traffic rules.引导学生再次阅读原文并完成任务活动,将文中几个国家的国旗分别贴到相应的交通规则下。

3、Let’ s know more.出示课件,请学生了解不同方向行驶的更多知识。

(四)Post-reading阅读后活动。听录音,跟读文章。

出示本文的两个概括性句子,根据教师的手势提示,分别以个人、小组或集体的方式有感情地朗读。

根据板书集体复述课文主要内容。根据阅读内容做判断练习。

这一过程是阅读后的扩展活动,要求学生全体参与,通过朗读、复述课文、做练习等活动加深对文章的理解。

(五)Progress 检测提高

1、阅读拓展性文章,粗体显示本课短文中曾出现过的生词。

2、引导学生思考,如果不遵守交规将有怎样后果?

3、请Ss根据之前所读所看,完成选词填空。

4、最后,通过问答来呈现Chant We are good boys and girls.We know the traffic rules.We obey the traffic rules.So, we are great!

这一过程是总结并运用本课所学内容、阅读方法,帮助学生建立并内化自觉遵守交通规则的观念。

六、说板书设计

根据the traffic rules的主题,这节课的板书我设计为以交通信号灯为框架,将一些主题词如stop, go, wait, on the left/ right side of the road等随教学步骤板书在框架内,并伴以几个国家的国旗。这些内容是有多种作用的,有呈现,有操练,最后还是复述课文及总结的参照。
