各位家长:
晚上好！
首先非常感谢大家能从百忙中抽空来参加今天的家长会。我是新担任三年级英语的老师。非常盼望着与您交流，共同探讨孩子成才的问题。大家都知道，我们的学生在小学毕业考时是要参加英语考试的，并且英语成绩也是各重点中学录取学生的一个重要参考。另外，由于中学里已经开始使用与小学英语课本相配套的教材，小学英语基础的好坏也就直接对中学里的继续学习产生很大的影响，因此，我们的学生从现在起就必须认真学习，打好基础。
下面我简单地介绍一下本次英语期中考试的情况。一些同学成绩考得还不错，可是绝大部分还不是很好。也可能是因为换老师的原因。不过家长们不用担心，英语是这学期新加的课，孩子需要时间来适应新的语言不是那么容易，在以后的日子里我会努力帮助他们来学习好这门课。
三年级英语是起始阶段，学习英语的习惯很多是依靠这一学年来养成的。有些五六年级学生感叹自己听不懂或不能很好认读，就是因为在三四年级时没有好的基础造成的，这时候去补就比较困难了。要学好英语，除了课堂要认真听以外，还需要课后的努力巩固。由于是外语学习，光依靠一周二课时是很不够的。孩子必须在家及时对课堂的新授内容及时巩固。因为课堂是公共的时间，而不是每个学生私有的时间，所以不可能照顾到每个学生，不可能让所有学生都达到相同的程度。况且每个学生对新知识得接受能力都是不同的，有的可能当堂就已经有很深的印象，很难忘记，但这肯定是很少的。大部分学生都只能是初步接触了新知识，要真正接受新知识还要学生在课后多下功夫，不然肯定会和别的同学拉下差距。本学期英语学习的内容：
1、每单元后面都有单词，这就要同学们回家去复习，消化这些单词。词汇是三年级考试的重要内容，一定要过关。
2、课文中的对话，日常交际用语。不要求每个同学都会背，但是要求熟练，流畅的读出来，说出来
3、听力训练：试卷中听力题的比重占三分之二。所以说每天的听录音跟读任务还是不容忽视的。4.配套的基础训练，课堂作业本和平时小测验。在学校老师会尽最大的努力进行教学，但课余时间还需要广大家长大力配合。
为了协助孩子更好地学好英语，请家长配合老师完成以下工作：有磁带的同学一定要听磁带，每天15分钟。没有磁带的同学一定要大声的读课文，读出来是很重要的，家长要鼓励孩子每天大声地朗读、对话、问答，大声说，不害羞，这样有利于清楚地表达自己，也有利于他人纠正自己的错误。背单词是难点，重点，希望家长能都督促一下，单词是慢慢积累下来的，一天背5个单词，一年下来就是1825个单词，多么可观的数字，所以家长一定督促孩子记单词，单词不会就和咱们汉语里不会汉字一样，将寸步难行。
总而言之，请各位家长多关注孩子们的英语学习，让孩子养成良好的英语学习习惯。家长的重视会让学生增加信心，提高学生的学习积极性。希望我们向着共同的目标：支持并帮助孩子踏踏实实地学好英语。最后，再次感谢你们的支持，愿我们的学生在学校、老师、家长的共同努力下，都能成“龙”、成"凤”。

我是高一23班、24班的英语老师。
首先感谢各位家长能抽空来参加这次家长会，能来参加家长会就说明你们非常重视和关心你们的孩子在学校的表现，那不来的，就有可能是一笔损失。
那么下面我就英语学习来与各位家长探讨和汇报一下。
对于文科班的学生来说，最吃力，同时最拉分的两门学科就是数学和英语，英语在包括中考、高考、研究生考试以及大学英语四、六级考试中都占有很大的分值，且不说英语作为一种工具，它对于我们升学、工作、求职有重大意义。特别是初中底子就没打好的学生学起英语来更是难上加上，经常有学生跑来跟我哭诉，“老师，我其他科目都很好，就是英语不想学，不知道怎么学，我初中英语课根本没听过”“老师，为什么我昨天刚记得单词今天就忘光了，单词该怎么记啊？”“怎么学课文呢？”
„„
那么对于基础薄弱的学生来说，老师肯定是没有时间讲初中的东西，毕竟要考虑到其他学生，只能说在平时讲课的时候讲的更基础些，更细些，更多的是靠学生自己下去花时间，多读多记多问。记单词是英语非常重要的一步，也是英语学习的基础，由于学生基础有限，要他们考130,140分肯定很有难度，那么我们就是目标定在80,90，100分，也就是说我们不搞别的，就抓基 1
础，所以在记单词，读课文方面，我抓的很严，单词必须过关，一遍不行来两遍，两遍不行第三遍。而且记单词的方法我也经常跟他们说，先要会读然后再去记，今天记好了，第二天第三天在花点时间巩固一遍。
其次，就是英语学习需要耐心，需要持之以恒，相信自己，坚持就是胜利。想要靠临时突击，临时抱佛脚的做法不可取也不可行。
比如有一段时间，一个学生学英语很认真，但考试成绩进步不大，他就会灰心丧气，“老师，为什么我这么努力学英语，成绩还是上不去”，我就告诉他，英语是一个慢热的过程，是一个慢慢积累的过程，同时我认为学习英语的过程也是一个吸收别人长处，更新的过程！你只有脚踏实地，慢慢来，才会把它学好。孩子们，你们有信心吗？不能让我失望哦！
我确信：
英语要学好和智商无关，学不好英语的人都是懒惰的人。所以，在课后一定要主动抽时间为自己补习英语。学好英语，不外乎就是在听，说，读，写这些方面下功夫。
第三，作业一定要按时独立完成，不要成为学习上的“寄生虫”。作业是老师检查了解学生知识掌握情况的一个有效途径，要求同学们能如实客观地对待作业。知之为知之，不知为不知，宁愿独立完成的空几题的作业，也比完全不经过自己大脑思考抄袭来的作业质量高得多。许多同学自觉性差，平时空空两手回家，早上早早赶来抄，每天我都布置了一定的英语作业，第四，学习习惯是非常重要的。英语学习好，并不是他（她）比别人聪明多少，而是学习习惯比较好。良好的学习习惯可以大大提高你的学习效果，我们班的赵昕，关亚宁，董世华，孙晓敏，董浩，葛媛，靳媛，吉清清，岳颍丽，薛星霞（23班），王杰等同学，24班的张航，杜恰恰，武阳，丁亚荣，张艳慧，张淑彤，李荣燕，曹启娣，卫亚楠，裴宇雯，李亚蓉，成亚雯等同学他们学习态度端正，上课认真，书写工整，正因为如此，无论什么考试都能取得很好的成绩，这与他们平时良好的学习习惯是分不开的！
而有些同学你看似认真，却是身在心不在，学习重在表象，完全不扎实，综合素质却没有真正提高。课外也不下功夫，一堂课几个单词，一两个重点句型下节课过来提问一问三不知，又何谈课外扩展与素质提升？这样的现象很普遍，说到底，还是好的习惯没有养成，不够勤奋。另外还有几个同学，他们的潜力很大，但因为还不够认真刻苦，所以没有发挥出自己最好的水平，这样的例子很普遍，我想，大家，同学们，都心知肚明吧，那我就不一一点名了。
我坚信：
如果您的孩子在您的支持和我的指导下能够及时完成老师布置的任务，那么一定能学好。要教导您的孩子一开始就要有吃苦耐劳的精神。坚持严谨的学习作风，成绩马上就会见效。
总之，英语学习贵在坚持！就好像跑步运动，英语学习之初大家都从同一个起跑线出发，但随着难度加深与词汇量加大，一些同学慢慢对英语失去新鲜感继而厌烦最后掉队。希望我们家长对子女多一
份关爱，督促子女奋发图强，英语偏科是历史原因造成的，但并不是不可根治的，想要证明自己真正有实力那就从偏科的英语入手，重点突破！
我和各位家长有着共同的心愿，都想尽自己最大的努力去培养这些孩子，他们个个都聪明可爱，只是有些孩子的潜能还没有得到充分的发掘。知识是无价的，知识可以改变命运。今后，我也希望和各位家长保持联系，如果孩子遇到学习问题我们及时沟通。
最后，希望家长能够配合老师，把孩子的成绩抓上去，更希望今后有更多的机会与您携手交流，并祝愿我们的孩子进步，家长开心。

期末考试前一天，她来求我说“请你给我讲解一下行吗?这次我很想考得好一点。”我开始给她讲解，不一会儿便草草收场，假装没有察觉她迷茫的眼神，一溜烟儿地跑开了。不出所料，这次她又考砸了。两个月后，新学期依始，传来她死于血癌的消息。我没有完成那项小小的任务，无人知晓。但我却不能原谅自己。她的眼睛令我难以忘怀，仿佛在责问我，“你为什么不愿多帮助我呢?这对于你来说，并不费事。你为什么不能理解我对你的信赖，而让我带着痛苦和遗憾离开这个世界?”
我当时才八九岁。但从某种意义上讲，这件事成了我生活的新起点。因为我开始体会到“责任”二字的意义，并尽心尽力地学着完成自己的义务。我也逐渐领会了这个神圣字眼的深刻内含:人与人之间的彼此需要和信任、合作和依赖正是人类社会存在的基础。
之后，我在生活中又经受过多次失败，但那小姑娘之死所引起的懊悔，心里却不曾再现。想到自己做每一件事都能尽职尽责，一种满足之感便油然而生。
此事及类似的多起事件改变了我，完善了我。当我长大成人，我开始领悟周围发生的一切变化。我发现，从某种意义上说，社会跟我一样，正处在一个自我完善的时期。新建筑、新商品、新款式一天一个样。新思维、新信息、新技术层出不穷。即便万里相隔，人们在转瞬之间即可相互交谈。社会竞争越演越烈。
人们越来越强调个性和创造性。越来越多的人因工作努力而受到奖赏。这就是当今的时代，一代新人由成长迈入成熟的时代。这是我们这一代人接替父辈治国安邦的时代。然而，我们也面临很多间题。
据悉，坏人在光天化日之下作恶，周围的群众居然袖手旁观，无动于衷。我还听说，目前我国尚有100万儿童连小学也上不起，而巨额资金却拿去举办奢侈的宴会和购置豪华的轿车。
我们常常买的是劣质药品，或名曰药品实为一文不值的废物，非但不能除病去痛，反而会使
病情加重。在某些人看来，世上金钱最宝贵，只要能赚钱，不惜牺牲道德和责任。
因而，这个时代赋予我们的是更强烈的竞争和效率意识，使我们更善于批判性地思考和创造性地行动。
此外，这个时代要求我们这一代人必须认清自己肩负的历史重任，下定决心，采取行动，解决上述问题。长期以来，历史一直在我们这一代人身上培养着这些品质。现在，历史呼唤我们挺身而出，以实际行动向全民族及全人类证实我们的拳拳爱国之心和大无畏的英雄主义。
