如何提高小学生英语学习兴趣

张郭中心校—— 徐建梅 题记:英语教学在快乐中进行,在平等的师生关系中体现尊重,在和谐的课堂气氛中透着欢笑。

一、拉近师生关系

有些时候,总是觉得老师和学生是两个对立的面,为什么会这么说呢?因为我常常为了补齐作业而到处找同学,而那些同学往往整天就知道玩,不清楚自己的方向和目标,唉,恨铁不成钢。如何调和矛盾,是拉近师生关系的关键。我一般不会在课堂上呵斥学生,而更多的是用目光来暗示他,让他知道我不希望他这样,或者直接喊他名字,问刚才的问题,如果没答上来,我也会让他坐下,我知道他心里一定会很清楚我为什么会叫他。

对于上课调皮,作业拖拉的我一直采用谈话教育为主的教育方法,耐心是我的特点。在谈话时,我尽量去体会学生的心情,从他那里考虑问题。多给他们一次机会,也是给我一次希望。孩子也是人,也渴望别人的尊重和理解,如果我们这些都做不到,还怎么指望学生能够信任我们。

二、让学生喜欢你的课

我经常在课上组织小游戏,小竞赛。学习人体部位的时候,我们来玩我说你指;学习英语加减法的时候,我和学生比赛算术,虽然我“输”了,但学生踊跃举手想要“打败”我的情景仍历历在目;有一个叫“Polly says”的游戏,教师在发出指令前可以说“Polly says”,则学生做此动作,指令前没有“Polly says”学生则不做此动作,如教师说“touch your nose”,而学生做了摸鼻子的动作,便算错了,要扣分。这个游戏同样可以用竞赛的形式进行,每组抽一名学生,一起到前面做动作,做错了就被淘汰,最后剩下的一人或两人为优胜。游戏很好,但我与学生都是有言在先的,只有好的纪律的保证,才能做好游戏,玩好游戏。我做游戏的目的都是以教学内容为中心,尽量能使参与面大一些。是为学而做,而不是为玩而做。

除了游戏以外,体态语也是老师一个很好的展示艺术。往往一个赞许的眼神,一个夸张的动作,一个满意的微笑,一个肯定的点头都会给学生带来很多精神动力。在学 Nice to meet you.的时候,我经常与学生握手,使他们感受到了成人的氛围。在猜箱中物的时候,我总是能装着很神秘的样子,来吸引学生无限的想象力。在学习“strong”等词时,我常常补充一些动作,如大力士状,学生不用问就知道 “strong”是强壮的意思。

在课堂上开展小组竞赛。每节课在复习,操练等各个环节穿插进行一些竞赛,由每组派或抽学生参加,谁先回答出老师的问题或者取胜,就得到一颗心或一个小笑脸。尽可能让所有学生都能为本组增添光彩,增强自信心和成就感。

实践证明,小学生年龄小,活泼好动,反应灵敏,模仿性强。生动具体形象的事物,容易引起学生的兴趣。充分利用挂图,图片等形式开展教学活动,能有效增加兴趣。录音机的使用不仅令学生兴趣大增,而且可帮助他们形成良好的语音、语调。

三、多鼓励学生

在课堂上,如果有很多人举手的话,我一般都会先叫那些平常内向的同学。因为他们举一次手也不容易,即使答错了,我也不会太在意,当然答对更好,ok, good , wonderful, great 一大堆表扬词都扔过去,多鼓励,多表扬,培养他们的自信心,下次欢迎再来。

其实每一个孩子都是渴望被人肯定,希望获得成功,愿意被人表扬的,尤其是那些很少

采用科学、有效的教学手段,保证学生学有所得,学有所乐,变“要,以最大的热情投入英语学习之中,从而最大限度地提高教育教学质量。

My English Study Summary

Time flies.It is the last term for me to study English in school.So I think I should make a summary for my English study.In all semester I have no lack of a lesson and in the process of English class,I listen very carefully because the English is very important to us.When the class is over,I do the homework by myself and handle to the teacher every time.So I think my attitude to English is OK.But there have also been some storages of place such as I don’t speak activity.That’s what I should correct.Last year I attended the CET 4 text and got only 421 scores.It’s really a pity.I know the reason is that I was despised it.I think it’s very easy for me to pass it,so I didn’t spend too much time to preparing it.But when I do it,I found the listening text is different from that in high school and I didn’t do it well.What I learn from it is that we shouldn’t despise anything because they don’t look as easy as we think.Now I read English everyday and I think I can pass it this year.In my opinion,I think learn English is a process of accumulation,so you can’t make much progress in a short time,you should read and write everyday and the most important thing for us to learn English is the word.The more words you master,the higher score you will get.Even though this is the last term for us to learn English in class,we should also learn English outside.As we know,with the development of the society,we will meet more and more foreigners and we will have more chances to talk to them,so we still need to learn English well.The only thing I want to do right now is to reach a higher level of English study and I know it will take lots of time and energy to achieve this goal.I can be very proud to tell anyone I haven’t waste the time in the past one and a half years because I learn too much knowledge from it.Therefore I have a long way to go and I know I have gained the confidence.By learning English I learn many different things such as the culture in other countries.So if we have the opportunity to go abroad,we couldn’t have made some minor errors.It also teaches how to get on well with others.A year and a half study life is vivid and the multi-colors;It is the practice and the wealth.I will set sail to hoist the sails, to sail to my ideal goal.

英语期中工作小结与反思

------三年级 陈菲

这次期中考试对我来说是喜忧参半。喜的是我们三年级的成绩较好,忧的是我们一些学生的成绩还是很不理想,只有三十几分,连最基本的单词也听不出来,最基本的日常交际用语也看不懂。

全面分析期中试卷和学生的答题情况,主要问题如下:

一、听录音排序、按顺序连线学生得分比较低。特别是要排序部分,有的学生无法及时找到正确的那幅图,排错一个而导致接下来的全部弄错,甚至有个别同学放弃不写。连线部分的出错率也不低,有些学生不能很好的掌握连线的方法,不能按正确的顺序连好。

二、从听录音画图涂色和听录音判断的得分情况可以看出学生两极分化明显,阅读判断做的还算好。因为只是要大家判断对错,存在一定的投机取巧。而听录音涂色和画图问题则有的学生错的比较多,但是也有学生回答的相当不错。学生掌握了单词,可是对磁带的速度明显不适应。

通过以上情况分析可以看出,学生对基础知识掌握仍不扎实,如单词的听辨,卷面上仍有很多不该出现的错误。学生的实际运用语言的能力特别差,没有灵活性,训练太少,没有掌握答题的技巧。

根据期中考试所反映和存在的问题,我在下阶段的教学工作中将采取以下的改进措施:

1、利用好早读课,增强学生听、说能力。每天确定好阅读的内容,并及时检测学生阅读的结果。如抽读,默写,背诵等。

2、在提高课堂教学效率的基础上,尽可能多地为学生提供练习的机会,特别是加强听力的训练。对学习不好的学生尽可能的多创造一些机会。并且坚持每周为学生补充一些相关的习题。

3、针对学生基础知识掌握不扎实的情况,加强单词听辨,并每周将前面的单词拿出来复习复习。坚持每天一小练,练习做一些基本的听辨题。

4、对后进学生采取老师面批、当面辅导的方式,同时在班里寻找成绩优秀并且认真负责的学生和他们结成“一帮一”的对子,每天帮助他们解决学习中出现的问题,督促他们学习。

5、帮助成绩特别差的学生寻找落后的根源,帮助他们设立适当的目标,争取不要让更多的同学掉队。

6、加强学校和家长的联系,发动家长在家督促孩子学习,帮助孩子默写,背诵。让家长及时了解孩子在校情况,让老师及时知道孩子在家的学习情况。

7、后一阶段中要更加注意对英语复习课的内容的准备,加强对学生的基础知识的整理和归纳,让学生反复操练,提高复习效率。

相信通过我们师生坚持不懈的共同努力,学生的英语成绩会取得明显的进步。

少年宫英语社团“英文歌唱比赛”活动小结

2014年12月9日下午,少年宫英语社团教室里,歌声阵阵,暖意洋洋,少年宫英语社团“英文歌唱比赛”在这里举行。

四名主持人的英文开场准确流利、自信、大方,率先赢得学员们的掌声,也调动起学员们展示英语的激情。在接下来的四十分钟里,来自五六年级不同班级的小选手们,通过英文歌曲尽情展示了自己的英语口语和表演能力。有《Twinkle Twinkle Little Star》、《Sunday Monday Tuesday》等等学生们喜爱的英文少儿歌曲,选手们流畅的发音、动听的歌声,博得台下观众的阵阵掌声。最后,学生们通过举手表决选出了自己喜爱的选手。

本次活动旨在鼓励学生们大胆说英语、勇于展示自己,进一步激发学生们对英语的兴趣,提高他们学习英语的自信心。

赛后,在师生交流中,有的同学表示,赛前两周的英文歌曲学习非常有效,不仅学会了单词发音也明白了单词的意思,所以演唱起来更加游刃有余,也有同学说,这样的活动,不仅给他们提供了运用英语,展示自我的机会,也锻炼了他们的口语表达能力,丰富了他们的课外生活,对英语也更有兴趣了。这,就是孩子们的心声。
