一、教材分析

(一)单元内容分析

本单元是人教版《义务教育课程标准实验教科书英语(新目标)》八年级上册第四单元。课题是howdoyougettoschool?本单元的话题是“transportation”,通过单元学习,让学生学会“talkabouthowtogettoplaces”理解并掌握如何用howlongdoesittake?和howdoyougettoschool?howfarisit?句型的提问和回答,让学生学会谈论自己日常上学的经历,并且学会正确使用交通工具和数字的英文表达。同时培养学生的交通安全意识。

sectionb(3a,3b,3c,4)是本单元的第四课时,是本单元的读写课,目标是指导学生阅读和写作入门,以及培养学生良好阅读习惯和对文章结构的整体感知能力,从而为今后的高级写作奠定基础。整个单元的前面的学习都是为这一课的学习埋下伏笔。

(二)教学目标

根据新课标的要求和教学内容的特点,制定以下的教学目标:

1.知识目标:

(1)重点词汇和短语:bike,subway,bus,train,car,walk,northamerica,part,thing,other,dependon,river,boat,byboat,must,more,than.(2)重点句式:moststudentsgotoschoolbycar.somestudentstakecarstoschool.2.能力目标:

根据教材的内容与学生的实际情况,制定以下的重点与难点;

重点:理解课文内容以及感知课文的结构和框架。

难点:准确运用搭乘何种交通工具的表达语句。

(四)教学辅助工具:图表、多媒体。

二、学情分析

年龄在14-15岁的'学生智力普遍良好,他们的世界观正处于形成阶段,思维活跃,求知欲强,对外面的世界充满好奇,渴望了解周边的一切,经过一年多的英语学习,新鲜感减少,畏惧感增加,但学生已具有一定的英语综合能力,也积累了一定的英语词汇量,如相关的交通工具名称。

三、说教法与学法指导

1、教学方法:

结合教材及学情,遵循教学原则和认知规律,采用情景教学法,听说法,导入话题,采用任务型教学途径,在活动中以循序渐进法来突破重点,让学生在用中学、学中用。从而理解课文,捕捉信息,最终学会用英语写小短文。

(1)情景教学法:联系课文实际,创设情景,激活学生的想像力,激发学生使用英语进行交流的兴趣和欲望。

(2)听说法:用师生,生生互动的方式,共同观察图片,激活学生的已有知识,使学生主动建构自己的语言知识,从而有效地习得语言。

(3)任务型语言模式:根据学生实际,以学生为中心,合理组织教学,把各个教学目标融入到教学任务中,学生完成任务过程就是课堂教学的过程,即learningbydoing,doingislearning.学生在教师指导下通过体验、实践、参与、探索和合作等方式,发现语言规律,逐步掌握语言知识和技能,学生的自信感逐步增强,从而体验到成功的喜悦。

2、学习策略:

在课堂活动中把学生分成四个学习小组,围绕课堂任务,学会分工合作,在合作中,相互探讨、交流,从而获得知识,技能和情感体验,通过观察课件画面,回答问题,让学生学会使用认知策略;让学生进行情景对话,实现交际策略;引导学生交际,主动练习和实践,是调控策略的体现。

今天,我所说课的内容是八年级上 Unit 6 I am more outgoing than my sister.下面,我将从六大板块来描述这节课。第一大板块:教材分析

1.教材的地位及作用

本节课节选自新目标英语。这是第六单元的第一课时的内容,其中心话题围绕Talk about personal traits and compare people这个题材开展多种教学活动,本节课是本单元的重点。在此之前,七年级英语Unit7曾学过用What does he look like? What is he like? 进行对话对人物的外貌及性格进行问答,并掌握了一定的形容词。而本节课承上启下,通过继续对人物外貌及性格的描述来学习比较等级,加深对比较等级的语法现象的理解和运用,为学习后面 Section B 和Unit12 What’s the best radio station?打下基础。2.教学重难点分析

基于上述对教材的分析,我确定本单元的教学重点为词汇、形容词比较级的构成、形容词比较级的用法。

教学难点为the comparatives with –er/ier and more的结构及读音,能在交际中准确地运用本单元的话题对自己与他人进行描述,作出比较并进行判断。

3.教学目标分析: 知识目标:(1)语言知识:掌握本课时的目标词汇:outgoing , more , than , calm , wild , athletic , twin ,tall , short , thin.目标语言Is that Sam? No, that’s Tom.He has shorter hair than Sam.Is Tom smarter than Tim ? He’s calmer than Sam.(2))语言技能:能对人物的外表进行描绘,个性进行比较,能在日常生活中恰当理解和运用本单元的话题对自己与他人进行描述,作出比较并进行判断

我们教学的对象是初二学生,他们对人物外貌的描述已经有一定的基础,掌握了一定的形容词词汇。为本节课打下了很好的基础。他们学习英语有较强的记忆力和模仿能力,有待培养知识的扩展运用能力。有较强的求知欲和表现欲,但部分学生存在不自信,羞于表现等思想顾虑,但又希望能得到他人的肯定。因此我在本节课设计了如下的教学方法。第三大板块:教法渗透

1、兴趣活动策略:①问题卡片争夺赛 事先准备标有数码的问题卡片,每回答一

让同学们自己总结形容词比较级的变化规则并进行练习。这样总结出来的规则要比老师告诉他们印象要深刻得多。本节课的难点就这样在孩子们的自信当中解决了。

Task 3 I can listen!Show a picture to teach new word----twin.练习拼写之后进行课本上1B 的听力练习。Listen and number the pairs of twins [1-3]in the picture 拓展:1B部分对学生的要求相对较低,为了培养更多的优分同学,这里我增加了拔高练习。听对话将句子补充完整。要求学生写下所缺单词。Task 4 I can talk!根据多媒体展示的图片,练习使用比较级进行对话本环节我组织学生以小组对话形式展开。培养学生的合作互动能力。步骤四:巩固练习Step 4 Consolidation 这部分我打破了原始的练习题形式的巩固练习,而是设计了一个小游戏,Who is my friend? 设计思路:

反复操练是记忆的一个重要方法。然而枯燥的练习使用却达不到预期效果。采取游戏的形式,提高学生的学习兴趣和参与意识,这将是本课的又一次高潮。使学生在激烈、快乐的竞猜氛围中,巩固了重难点。

情感渗透:游戏结束时展示句子“A friend in need is a friend in deed”(患难见真情)“A friend is easier lost than found”(朋友易失不易得)。步骤

五、归纳总结 Step 5 Sum up 我把比较级构成浓缩成口诀形式再次呈现重点内容,巧妙地总结本课重点、难点,领着学生以说唱的节奏,进一步巩固,加强对本课内容的理解和运用。步骤六 作业设计 step 6 Homework My Friend And I 设计思路:

写出自己与朋友之间的相同之处与不同之处。通过写作练习体验收获的喜悦。

本课以素质教育为目的,结合教材重点、难点及英语学科特点,利用多媒体辅助教学,从视、听、说等方面使学生得到锻炼,提高了课堂教学的效率;充分调动了学生自主学习的积极性;培养了学生运用所学知识解决问题的能力;对学生的思维发展起到了积极的推动作用;同时,也提高了学生的英语综合运用能力。

一.说教材

1.教材的地位与作用:Unit10 I’m going to be a basketball player.这单元通过复习和学习一些关于职业的词汇,用be going to谈论长大以后打算做什么以及打算怎样实现目标,与七年级(下)Unit 4 I want to be an actor.学习关于职业的词汇以及用want to bedo谈论将来,和八年级(上)Unit 3 What are you doing for vacation? 用be doing谈论将来的打算有着密切的联系。本课是这单元的第一课和重点课,学好本课将为进一步学习一般将来时打下良好的基础。

2.教学目标:

(1).知识目标:掌握本课重点词汇computer programmer, computer science, engineer, pilot, professional „.本课主要句型:What are you going to be when you grow up? I’m going to be an engineer.How are you going to do that? I’m going to study math hard.语法:用be going to表示一般将来时。

(2).能力目标:培养学生应用英语谈论将来计划,提高学生听、说、读、写等能力。

(3).情感目标:通过谈论将来打算做什么以及准备怎样实现目标,让学生考虑自己的将来,及早为将来做好准备。培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣,乐于参加各种活动的积极情感,善于合作,培养学生团结协作精神。

(4).教学重、难点:重点是掌握本课 computer programmer, computer science,engineer, pilot, professional等重点词汇,What are you going to be when you grow up? I’m going to be an engineer.How are you going to do that? I’m going to study math hard.等重点句型和语法:用be going to表示一般将来时。

难点是一般将来时be going to 中be 的具体形式和后面接动词原形的用法, 而学生根据自己喜欢的职业,运用所学知识谈论自己打算怎样做来实现目标则既是难点,又是能力训练点。

二.说教法

1.“Teach English in English”: 即新课标倡导的“用英语教英语”,尽量用英语教学,创造英语课堂良好的听的环境,让学生充分感知,积极体验,大胆实践,把握用英语交际的机会,鼓励学生大胆开口说英语。

2.突出重点,突破难点:通过听力训练、做调查、小组竞赛等多种形式反复操练重点句型,巩固所学知识,提高灵活运用能力,通过操练中人称的变化和幻灯片展示帮助学生更好地领会语法。

3.任务型教学法:倡导体验参与,培养自主学习能力。课前布置任务,要求学生复习七年级(下)Unit 4中关于职业的词汇,预先读本课新词,让学生带着任务有目的地上课,并在课堂学习中不断获得完成此任务所必须的知识、能力、技能等,为最终完成任务作全面的准备。

最后一次呢,最后一次是在哪里?对,文章的结尾,儿子读着父亲的来信,在泪光中再次浮现了父亲的“背影”,(PPT⑧)也就是:别后思念,再现背影,板书:别后思念,再现背影。

五、重点分析

文中四次描写背影的语句我们都已经找出来了,可是作者花最多笔墨写的,是买橘子时父亲的背影,那我们一起来看看这次的背影到底写了什么。(PPT⑨)

下面请这位同学给大家朗读一下,其他同学认真体会一下,作者是怎样刻画背影的。板书:望父买橘

这位同学朗读的很有感情,节奏也把我的很好,那我们一起来看一看。“我看见他戴着黑布小帽,穿着黑布大马褂,深青布棉袍”,这是不是写父亲的穿着:黑、深青;布。看到父亲的穿着,老师想知道作者当时穿的是什么衣服啊?(紫毛大衣)把好的留给儿子,可以看出父亲对儿子非常疼爱。同时,父亲自己的穿戴也说明,怎么样?──家境不好,心情忧伤,而且在这样的情况下,父亲还为我买橘子,是不是更加突出父爱的崇高啊。

“蹒跚地走到铁道边”,这是不是写父亲走路的姿势啊,对;“蹒跚”是走路一瘸一拐的样子,父亲不是瘸子啊,他走路的姿势为何是蹒跚呢?因为父亲肥胖体衰,所以步履艰难,烘托出父亲对儿子深挚的爱。

“慢慢探身下去,尚不大难。可是他穿过铁道,要爬上那边月台,就不容易了。他用两手攀着上面,两脚再向上缩;他肥胖的身子向左微倾,显出努力的样子”,这是不是写父亲爬月台的动作啊,首先“探”字写出了父亲体胖动作不灵便,下铁道小心翼翼;“攀”是写手的动作,既写出月台的高度,又可以想象父亲爬月台时吃力的样子;“缩”是写脚的动作,表现了父亲的年老体衰,动作迟缓,不可能像年轻人那样灵活,一撑即上;“向左微倾”是写身体的动作,一是右手支撑有力,二是因为要把右脚跨上月台有困难,要借助身子的倾斜。

那这一整段通过父亲的穿着、走路的姿势以及爬月台时艰难的动作这一系列的形象刻画都能看出父亲买橘子的过程非常艰难,既然买橘子的过程这么艰难,(PPT⑩)父亲为何还要坚持去买这橘子呢?这位同学说:橘,有吉的谐音,里面包含了父亲对儿子的希望,希望儿子能够平平安安;还有同学说是因为父亲担心儿子路上口渴,橘子可以为儿子解渴。嗯,同学们都说的很有道理,其实不管怎么说父亲买橘子是不是都是为了儿子,因为他疼爱自己的儿子。

六、拓展延伸

(PPT11)父母爱子女之心无微不至,本文以小见大,将父母的“俯首甘为孺子牛”的挚爱全部凝聚在这个背影里,读了本文,你会想到父母平时对自己的许多爱了吧,其实所有的亲情之爱都是感人的,也许你承受着却没有发觉,也许你失去了才觉珍贵。接下来,老师为大家播放一个短片。播放短片
